  1. you were right.
didn't hurt I'm jonesing for a taycan.  it's stupid out of my price range though.  even the new 911 is way too much.  but I do think an older 911 is probably in my future.

My sister picked up a 2017 911 with 10k miles on it. She loves it. KBB has them around $75k.

  2. Yes!!!!!! 7 in a row. 93rd for Hamilton. Danny on podium. Great race.

Kimi driving forever was awesome. Ferrari hates Vettle. Albon gotta be gone at the end of the year. Russel blew it. Rough day for some

  3. On the submarine we used to joke to make sure number of dives = number of surfaces.

With my boat I'm going for number of launches = number of recoveries.

    So far 1 for 1.

Need to go find a big parking lot and practice backing up  Looked like a complete idiot trying to get boat into the water.

Boys were shivering but had huge smiles on their faces. Also determined my circle drive in front of my house is not compatible with the boat. Will be renting a space at the storage place around the corner on Monday.

Some advice - Take your wife with you to said parking lot and teach her to back the trailer as well. It’s always better to have plenty of people that can back the trailer. If you’re ever hurt, she may need to back the trailer.

  4. Let's buy a $100K grocery getter for the wife! Durrrrrr.

Women don't give a fuck about horsepower. Buy her what she wants and save some cash.

This is not always true. My wife cares about 0-60, HP and how fast her car can go.

  6. Getting the five year old a new bike.  She’s been trading up each year since aged 2 with used bikes from neighbors.  But this year she gets a shiny new one with handbrakes, custom basket, and water bottle holder.   And then some socks.

I love they she loves outside shit.  She likes toys as much as the next kid but she really likes outside stuff.

I do worry though about video games.  Every kid on the street it seems is a junkie with that shit.  I didn’t get into it until I was about 9.  But that was a totally different era and I didn’t know any girls into video games.  At what age are y’all seeing daughters get into video games?

My sons friend plays Roblox with him and a buddy. She holds her own with them. My buddy’s daughter plays Roblox and Minecraft.

Seal those seats or use the cleaner on them often. My wife had those and they stained over time from jeans. That said - I do like that interior.

  8. Hamilton cannot be beat when he or the team avoids mistakes. One more race to win and the record is his alone.

Hamilton and Max being 60 seconds a head and Albon no where to be seen is a problem. No reason for Albon to not be consistently 3rd or 4th.

  9. I was responsible for the planning of the engineering and design of projects (mostly upstream). A large platform may require a schedule of 10,000 plus activities for the FEED portion. I make sure the work is planned out in a timely and hopefully realistic duration, then tracking progress and working with management to make sure we stick to the schedule or develop mitigation plans when the project team falls behind.

    I worked in music.

    Realistic.... that made me laugh.

  10. That is a monumental screw job by the stewards if so. Two time penalties is the only way to keep Hamilton from winning. Then Charles doesn’t get anything for ending another drivers race?? Judges gonna judge.

  11. I found an old pair of coveralls that were my grandfathers. They are up at the family lake house. I wear them when working up there, same as him, but no where near as good at the work part. That said - I’m learning and it’s nice to see pictures of me with my son and of him with me as a kid - both in coveralls.
