will be interesting to see what happens. Whatever comes of this I hope at some point everyone can be satisfied the truth was found, justice is/was served and everyone can find some peace. I would at least like to see a new trial, and have the prosecution actually have to prove the murder this time using a story that can be actually backed up in some form. If avery did it, I hope he fries. if he didn't, I hope he's set free and finds peace (this is doubtful as he seems to be a lowlife, sociopathic POS), and justice is served on whomever murdered Teresa Halbach.
anyone going to the LSU series this weekend? I have tickets for Saturday and sunday, but may have to get back to Houston after Saturday's game. if that is the case I will have 3 tickets available for the sunday game.
Really damn good episode tonight. Not gonna lie I’m digging it. It’s my 11 year olds favorite show and we watch it together every week. Fun time of week for me
I'd say the same about MAstros. The night I went there it was the highest concentration of super model level escorts I have ever seen anywhere. I would also say the steaks are equal and sides are great at both places. It depends on what you want for atmosphere. I personally don't like the loud ass band and atmosphere at Mastros as much unless it's just me and the wife for dinner. If you're going with couples and want to talk Mastros is a bad fit. if it's a birthday dinner for an 11 year old Mastros is not a great fit. Steak 48, or any of the other 50 awesome steak options in Houston for those types of events.
I honestly think the TExas season was the worst. The over the top "Texas" stereotype instance of every episode was nauseating. The cast was relatively weak, and most of the places and backdrops they had were pretty uninspiring.
Goode Co does smoked chicken and potato salet about as great as those items can be done. Their brisket is usually dry as a hell, their ribs are nothing special, and the sausage is pedestrian at best. But that chicken is damn good. Before Champ, Pit Room, Pinkerton and some of the other recent additions it could be argued that the chicken at Goode Co was the high water mark for Houston bbq. That and the brisket at Thelma's original location were about the only things half way worth a damn. We've come a long way in the last 5 years.
not s surprise. place just doesn't fit the point to point flying almost everyone requires these days. they should have never gone down that path. the market was not calling for a plane of this size, etc. that was evident based on slow passenger sales of 747 at that point.
gatlins is miles behind Champ in the pecking order. He would shut them down in short order. Although, Gatlins does seem to have a bit of a cult following. I don't really get it. They're super nice, but their bbq is average at its best.
HBC is the worst BBQ on the planet. my god. otherworldly bad. I ate there once this past summer when I was on a consulting gig out in the energy corridor. The frozen fried okra was by far the highlight of their product offering. The ribs they gave me were absolutely re-heated garbage from the night before, or the night before the night before. Brisket was at best pot roast like roasted in a gas oven with maybe some wood chips in a water bowl thrown in in some bad effort to provide "smoke".
I would defend the box waffle mix. HOnestly, it's just flour with the baking powder and baking soda already mixed in for you. Is it REALLY that different if you buy flour, baking soda and baking power separately and mix them yourself to make "homemade waffles"? Really? That was a non-issue if we are being honest here. It's not like she bought frozen waffles. Her issue wasn't that she bought flour, baking soda and baking powder pre-mixed, the issue was she didn't cook the waffles properly. Of course, to me, that is a way lesser sin than cooking the inferior fried chicken.
Definitely not storage. I bought these at the winery out of their library shipped cold overnight and out into my offsite storage that has never lost power nor any issues there. These are 03-07 vintages and were really before the super high alcohol wines became a a thing. That really kicked off with 08. One of them had a core issue and I expected it to be shit, and it was. The others seemingly were fine. I haven’t bought anymore red wine from them a long while. Still buy the edge hill chard every year. It’s remarkable very time
From super bowl. It was juicy, tender, super smoky and a very solid effort considering i haven’t done a brisket in quite some time. Champ gave me a few much appreciated tips along the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
