  1. My senior year at Weslaco, we were matched up against SA Madison in the third round. My coach wanted home/home, the other coach wanted a neutral site. So they flipped. My coach won. So now they need to decide whose home to play at. So they flip again. My coach won, so they had to drive the 4 hours down to the RGV. Now... Their coach wanted to play Friday night and my coach, probably just because he enjoys being stubborn and difficult, decided that he wanted to play Saturday afternoon. So they flip again. We played on Saturday afternoon.
  2. You know as much as I do. I just saw the Instagram post and found it interesting. I assume JS1 is correct... She has not been given any indication as of yet that she's being fired, so she's still recruiting and probably landed a commitment.
  3. Sark: "They hate Texas more than they like themselves" Pittman: "I would say he's probably right"
  4. I know you've mentioned your booster friend, which is fine. Say you've heard some things from your booster friend. I'll believe that. But someone posting Desmond Howard's Instagram and then others telling people to go watch that as a legit source is baffling to me because I'd be willing to bet that he's not hearing jack shit behind the scenes, he's just playing to the catastrophizing Texas fan and many people here are eating it up as confirmation bias. For God's sake, someone asked immamac if there was anything objective that he could share, and he posted Desmond Howard.
  5. Yeah, because he wants clicks and views and attention. Not because he actually knows anything. Now, I have exactly zero connections within the program, so maybe there are other rumblings that you've heard, but Desmond Howard's Instagram thoughts while taking out the trash shouldn't be used as any sort of serious indicator. And the fact that there are people on this board that take him seriously tells me all I need to know about their ability to think logically.
  6. If Desmond fucking Howard thinks the Texas job is opening up, then I should put money on us winning the national championship next year. Isn't this the same guy that thought aggy was making the playoffs the same year they eventually fired Jimbo? Excuse me if I don't think that he knows shit about fuck when it comes to Texas football.
  7. Username does not check out.
  8. Some asshole here on base in San Diego thought he was being cute. Fuck Georgia! (Although I couldn't help but to laugh at the thought that someone just randomly carries around their Georgia stickers?)
  9. Heard on a podcast this morning that Kolo Muani fractured his jaw... Will be out 6-8 weeks.
  10. I'm not at all surprised. That's a microcosm of your inability to actually have a productive discussion, recognize your own dumbassedness (which we all have from time to time), and attempt to learn and evolve your opinions.
  11. I neg things that I think are stupid. Does it matter? Not really. But it's a way of expressing my opinion. You presented an argument to which someone responded.... You couldn't even come up with a reasonable counter to defend your position. Either defend your position or recognize the argument. Your bullshit was neither. Likely because you don't have a counter and you're not enough of a man to recognize and/or accept the validity of someone's counter and to learn from it. So yeah, I negged you. Apparently that bothered you enough to specifically tag me. Ok cool, hook em. I hope you teach your kids to respond to arguments the same way that you do. That's exactly what we need in today's climate. I have no idea what drinking and driving has to do with anything other than a potentially veiled comment from a weak ass human being who can't accept that his position is stupid, hoping that an anonymous poster that disagrees with him makes a potentially unsafe life decision. You're so cool. And no. I didn't drink and drive tonight. Ubers are very easy to find in San Diego.
  12. I knew I should've talked shit about the defense too
  13. Hahahaha I need to talk shit about Richarlison more often
  14. I don't think Richarlison is good enough as the 9. He doesn't hold up play well when we try to play direct. He doesn't make any creative runs in behind when Simons is bringing the ball up. He's not a great header of the ball when we get width and cross. Our attack stagnates in the final third because there's no final link.
  15. Good counter.... Terrible awareness by Johnson. Needs to hold his run for another split second to stay onside
  16. I'm here for the second half. 530am currently on the west coast lol

  18. Fuck yes, if baseball isn't going to come to San Diego, then at least Basketball will 🤘🏽
  19. Hat trick from Kiefer Moore gives Wrexham all 3 points. 3-2 win at home. Edit to add: hadn't realized that Coventry was unbeaten in the league. Moore had a perfect hat trick, right + left + header. Windlass with the hat trick of assists
  20. Two problems with this plan this year... Because this is exactly what we did last year. People complained about Ewers average depth of target, but it was because we were getting the ball into the hands of playmakers quick and letting them make plays. First problem: Arch is not as good as Quinn was on ball placement on screens and bubbles. Sometimes his throws are high or behind instead of leading the WR forward into their stride. Second problem: up until this week, our WRs and OL sucked ass at blocking, so getting those quick bubble and tunnel screens to be successful is really difficult without good blockers.
  21. Not so simple answer, it depends on the depth of the route. Slant, comeback, quick crosses, etc., then yes, he can hit them on the numbers or in stride and on time. Not sure about screens and bubbles as Troy didn't run those a ton. Deep routes? I've seen him hit some really nice fades in stride. WR was wide open, so he had a big margin for error. Sometimes fails to see the safety coming across. Didn't attempt a lot of deep posts or deep middle third, so not sure. Can struggle with intermediate routes, tends to over throw the 15-20 yard routes.
