  1. A true Tottenham legend. Sonny, we'll always have Bilbao! Per ESPN: Son Heung-min announces he is leaving Tottenham this summer
  2. Useless drivel and dead horses is what it costs to save $9.95/mo. If you want to pay for the premium boards, I'm sure they stay much more on topic!
  3. Didn't know you followed the sport! Know someone on the team? Texas has been pretty up and down throughout the years. Women's team was in the national final a few years ago, now not even qualified. Same with the men's team, sometimes top 5, sometimes top 15, sometimes not. Carleton College, though small, is a traditional powerhouse in the sport. Everytime I look, they seem to be at least in the national semis again.
  4. He was a senior this year, 2nd team all American. Not sure if he's staying for a grad year or not. His younger brother though is going to be a sophomore I think. And a cousin is on the team too (the cousin's dad was my club team coach in Houston about 10 years ago). Those 3 have been throwing a disc and spending time at tournaments since they could walk.
  5. As a former Texas player once said according to Surly legend: "They don't fit."
  6. I've got a friend who I played Ultimate with in Houston whose son is on the team and was getting some chatter for national player of the year. /csb
  7. She must have also attended Texas State.
  8. If I was a G5 program, this would exactly be my sell. Talented enough to play as a freshman but big schools have talented rosters? Come to our G5 program, play right away, get a little NIL, put some film up, and transfer to a P5 school if you get good offers. Do that enough, and sell yourself as a development program, win some conference championships, maybe a few bowl games, and maybe give yourself a chance at the G5 playoff spot. If they're not good enough for big P5 schools, then they stick around until they're seniors and grow enough to be good G5 players.
  9. I guess the MGW dream is dead. From the Athletic Morgan Gibbs-White signs new Nottingham Forest contract until 2028
  10. LA also has the highest Korean population of any metro area in the US if I recall correctly
  11. I would imagine a significant part of that sum went to baseball roster retention. Especially since a lot of that money was last minute Hail Mary deals to keep them from transferring to evil tu.
  12. Maybe in the Auburn game? Because if they win that game, they would've been in the SECCG
  13. He's only, like, 276 months old.
  14. #6 Odobert: 36.36 km/hr vs Villa #1 Mickey VDV: 37.12 km/hr vs Man U
  15. From reading last year's registration rules: Maximum 25 players, 2 of which are GKs, 8 of which are "locally trained" (slightly different from Premier League "homegrown" rules). Of the locally trained, up to 4 can be "association trained", meaning that they were at a different club within the same association. If you do not have 8, then that deficit gets subtracted from the 25 total roster spots Locally trained = on the clubs books for 3 seasons between the ages of 15 and 21 ( Brandon Austin is the only player that qualifies) Or On another club's books within the same association (in this case, England or Wales) for 3 entire seasons between the ages of 15-21 (Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Solanke, Ben Davies, Djed Spence, Archie Gray, Ashley Phillips, Gibbs-white) Any youth player born after 1/1/04 and has been with the club for at least 2 years since they turned 15 (or 3 years if they were loaned out for one year) can be registered with the squad without counting against the 25 roster count (i.e. Scarlett, Donley, Devine, Moore).
