Hit piece on Ja. It's not undeserved, but I am surprised the league let them run with this. Seems like a deliberate warning shot to Ja and Tee from the league that this season needs to be free from the nonsense. They did Steve Francis dirty though. From everything I can find Francis's problems with alcohol came late in his career after he was already on the decline. And he really was from the streets, not like Clarence Morant.

Going back a page, people don’t really seem to understand incremental tax rates on income…wish Biden’s tweet woulda mentioned that they’d only be taxed 25% on INCOME over a certain threshold.

Drives me nuts when dumbass mouth breathers talk about ‘punishing extraordinary people’ by ‘taking’ their money.  No bitch, they need to get taxed at higher income above certain levels you will never see in your lifetime…getting you one dollar over the bracket doesn’t suddenly mean all your money is taxed at the higher rate.

The day I learned this is the day I closed the door on republicans forever.

Roll into Jerry World at 11-1 and win the conference.

Fucking this. If the offense doesn't open the game shitting runny turds down their legs they win this game. Quin and Brooks had stat lines that look like absolute steam rolling on offense. Just don't spot them the points early and this is a W.

  4. The real problem with analytics in football is a lack of sufficient data points because they play so few games relative to sports where analytics have made such a difference. The argument to go for two with the first score in a two score comeback depends on your teams expected 2 point conversion rate.

The argument also completely loses sight of the truth that what might be the right strategy the majority of the time is not always the right strategy for THIS time.

I learned a valuable lesson from my FIL. Feign deafness. If they think you can't hear them, they'll ask once then just wander off and bitch about you being deaf. Worked on my MIL and now my wife.

I've really committed to this by actually going deaf. Works a treat.

  7. That ends up being about right for trading Lillard. Those two first round picks being pushed down to 2029 kind of hurts their timeline on a rebuild around anyone currently on the roster. If they're really all in on the tank, they should be taking offers on Ayton and trying to get some picks in 2025-2027. Mavericks?

yeah they definitely are not keeping Jrue.   I saw one report saying the deal hadnt been finalized as they were trying to get another team in to take Jrue.    We will see.

Would be hilarious if they send Jrue to Miami as a fourth team somehow.

Weird. Not sure Nurk is any sort of upgrade over Ayton, but I guess the Suns are bolstering depth here.

Feels like POR not getting enough for a top 5 guy in franchise history.

I really hope they devise some malicious compliance here such that a negligible lapse is continues indefinitely until he is out of office.
