Call me old-fashioned, but I see to it that the GF rarely, if ever, has to pump gas.  If we are driving together in her car, I will always top it off if it's below 1/2.  If I haven't driven it in a few days, I check the level and if it's south of 1/2, I run it to the station.   It's a little thing that I know she appreciates, because I've heard her tell her sister that she cannot remember the last time she got gas on her own.

Okay, boomer. Nice that you let her drive though.

Friday night, sitting on the couch. My wife’s feet propped up on my lap.
    Music.
Don Williams. John Denver. Bellamy Brothers. Gordon Lightfoot. Redbone. Hall and Oates. Johnny Nash. Cat Stevens. Chicago. ABBA. Three Dog Night. Gerry Rafferty. Marshall Tucker Band. Billy Joel (played Scenes from an Italian Restaurant; first time we kissed was while he was playing that song at a concert at the Erwin Center, 1990).
Just being in the moment, feeling it all.
    It’s a helluva world, people.

    Legalized psilocybin already?

  3. This dude is the biggest piece of shit there is. He truly has no redeeming qualities. He's awful to look at. His voice is what I imagine a fetus hears during its abortion. His nature boils down to an utter lack of regard for other humans as anything other than tools for his own aggrandizement and profit. He should be wrapped in plastic and strung up by his feet in a public square on a hot day for everyone to watch him suffocate.

He’s dumber than an empty box of dirt. Seriously. The dumbest POTUS we’ve ever had, and I’m including JFK AFTER his brains left his skull.

Is the box empty or is it a box of dirt? Don't see how it can be both

    A better version of Ayton

What kind of comp is this? He has almost nothing in common with Ayton, who is a traditional big stuck in the modern game with the tenacity and toughness of wet toilet paper.

I do my job without (rational) fear of civil or criminal prosecution.  The way I do that is that I keep my word, I don't break contracts and I don't break the law.
