It’s going to be hilarious to see Looch and company frame Nolan’s return as Elko’s first big win on the trail.

I don’t want to wade into the “does Murphy suck” discourse, but I bet he gets a chance at a P5 program.

The area code of a phone is NOT included in metadata of a picture. This guy is just making shit up. There's a lot of stuff in the metadata like Platform (Apple/Android/etc), but not your area code. This guy is so full of shit. Also, I looked and the location metadata is not in the file that was uploaded
Can someone even explain to me what the implication even is? I don’t understand what noted racist Daniel Figurelli is accusing us of. If a coach handed off his phone to somebody for the picture, why wouldn’t it be a 512 number?

Mark Farris was benched for Long in his last season. Stephen McGee was benched for Johnson in his. It’s for sure one of their many traditions

An early enrollee would never be asked to play a meaningful snap in a bowl/playoff game anyway, but I think the rule is they can participate in bowl practices but not travel (or play) in the game.

Here comes the meltdown
Yeesh, I want no part of this guy. At least at the price it’s going to take to get him.
His dad isn’t even committing to him making to a campus by spring ball. Caring about money is fine, but at some point you need to at least pretend to prioritize football.

Holy shit, I thought the Kyler/Allen transfer saga was as high as my Aggie schadenfreude levels could go…but I think we’ve already passed it this cycle.
All while Texas is gearing up to play a playoff game. Really the stuff of dreams.

Boyd seems to have lost the thread on his own bullshit now. It’s a great hire for the Aggies, but it’s also one that is extremely doubtful to win the SEC or national titles? So they spent one hundred million dollars to get rid of their old staff and god knows how much to bring in a new one, all for the privilege to potentially play in “slobberknockers” against teams that are actually set up with win championships. Sounds like a bad hire to me, but what do I know.

Jake Johnson is a big loss. Klein likes to use 2 TEs a lot.
Now they're down to essentially Donovan Green coming off a major season-ending injury?
I think they mentioned Max Wright has a Covid year he can use. He’ll be going pro in something other than football, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back.

It must suck for Billy that they hired Klein for OC immediately after Petrino.
Given their difference in age/experience he must have had to do a little more customization to his find/replace name coordinator hire announcement template.
"Rising star" was a predictable, lazy choice for whatever "seasoned veteran" descriptor I'm sure he used for Bobby.
Sitting Big12 Champion OC!

This is actually a good candidate, but I think someone should let them know he's 0-6 against Texas so they panic and hire someone else
Also yea with their line, gonna need ALL the QB transfersI’m not an expert on him, but my impression is this would be a pretty high floor, low ceiling hire. Maybe Elko assumes he’ll have an elite defense and that’s what he is looking for.
Coming from KSU, he’s probably a pretty big question mark as a recruiter.

Huh! ...
If they are still doing their hiring by twitter trial balloon, I doubt this one is going to go over too well with the fan base

Mitchell has a kid too I believe so probably gone.
Mitchell is almost certainly going to declare and he should. But fwiw, Gerry mentioned that his family financial situation does give him some flexibility with the decision compared to others.

Example # 1,536 why there should be different targeting penalties. Charge us 15 for the blindside/targeting? Okay. He missed the second half of a championship game & the first half of a playoff game for that?!? Bull-fucking-shit.
This shit needed to be fixed years ago but, alas, the NCAA.
Worst written rule in college football, it’s just way too punitive, random and subjective.

I generally agree that comparing Blue (who I like) to Jamaal Charles is pretty stupid, but what is with this Selvin Young erasure?

Well Jimbo ended up getting paid something like $1.7m per win, so that sounds like a pretty good bargain
