  1. My only bad pot experience was at a small get together of friends. Kinda just lost track of how many hits I took, then hit a place where I was convinced I'd permanently disabled long term memory formation and would live the rest of my life on a five to ten second loop. Got high again the next day though.
  2. Many believe they'd be valuable to the B1G. Others actually think - now sit down for this - that down the road the SEC might be interested. I wish I were kidding.
  3. Not the full thing. I do somewhat kinda know someone who's been in them via a mutual friend. The summer meetings were not nearly as sensational as media would like them to be. My comment could be because I interpreted the tweeter differently than others, as though he expected something huge (like a conference change announcement) to come out of this next meeting. I'm just saying that's almost certainly not the case. But if I'm wrong, cool (I actually wish the PAC would survive, because I like regionality, but I'd mostly like to see this round of realignment end so we know where everyone is going to end up).
  4. For the likes
  5. Trust me, a CU grad and college professor, that having another meeting that they've had many of isn't all that terribly strange. It would be odd if they weren't discussing this right now. I interpreted the Tweeter as expecting something big to come of that meeting - it won't. The board can't even decide major moves within the confines of that meeting.
  6. To answer the Tweeter's question: no, not really. CU had about 8 such meetings last summer.
  7. Inaccurate. Colorado and Utah both believe they'd be attractive to the B1G. Note I'm not saying that they ARE, but that a very, very large percentage of them BELIEVE they are (or could be).
  8. Colorado State. That'll save the PAC.
  9. I've been to Provo. I'm not arguing its a great town, I'm just saying people like me don't care much about the town itself anyways; when I travel I spend all my time outside. In that regard, Provo is more or less equivalent to SLC/ Orem/ Ogden/ etc. for me, because they all offer great access to the peaks and canyons of the Wasatch.
  10. Depends on what you're looking for I guess. I would love the access to the Wasatch range.
  11. Or we just assumed you would be smarter than to very strongly assert a completely incorrect statement for no other reason than "it just sounded right" to you, as doing so makes you look like a moron. Spoiler alert: you weren't.
  12. Richards did not care. At all. A Texas politician (Bullock) lobbied for Baylor and Tech. Otherwise the deal was just UT and A&M joining the Big 8. There was a pretty comprehensive article on it all a few years back, but I'm blanking on what magazine it was from.
  13. No "have no clue what you're talking about" comment has been passed around sports message boards more than this one. Ann gave no shits what happened to Baylor, and has been quoted saying as much. Bullock was the one who helped Baylor (and Tech) during the formation of the Big XII.
  14. screaming like banshees
  15. K State "insider" is saying we'll hear something about PAC deal within a couple days and that it's 25/ team/ year with ESPN and Amazon. Some unequal sharing (maybe postseason?). Expects Arizona and Colorado to apply for Big XII. Take it FWIW.

  17. They definitely would, but if I was creating pods, that's still how I'd do it. I really am 100% cool with adding another Texas school and old SWC foe, but OSU has been an annual game for the entirety of my football watching life. And quite a few games the past decades have been great, high-stakes matchups.
  18. Personally I like that format too, except that eastern pod is nuts. Makes more sense to me to do protected rivals + rotate all others.

  20. Awesome! Glad y'all like them/ hope they came out as you expected.
  21. Yep. I'm curious if Oregon and a couple others are pushing for unequal sharing of post season revenues. Would be a way to keep them whole with the ballooning playoff payouts.
