It can be because of the inexact timeline as rock shifted in the late 60’s. Have had friends lobby for Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly, etc. Okay, lobby isn’t the best choice of words. Replace with ‘want to fight to the death’ on the subject.
Remiss of me not to mention Led Zeppelin, Sabbath, & Deep Purple.

Blue Cheer was the first heavy metal band. In 1968, that genre didn’t exist. Serious Marshall Stacks in the background. Unfortunately, they weren’t on as the band lip synced through this performance on American Bandstand. If Blue Cheer had played ‘live’, they would have blown Dick Clark and his audience into the next time zone. Never got to see them perform, but friends who did said they couldn’t hear for up to a week following the concert. “Summertime Blues” did well on top 40 radio peaking at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As the story goes, Dick Clark caught them smoking a bowl of hash in the dressing room before this performance and said, “It’s people like you who give Rock ‘n Roll a bad name” to which band leader Dickie Peterson said, “Why, thank you very much”. The band got its name from LSD that was popular at the time in San Francisco. They should have dosed Dick Clark’s coffee. Now, that would’ve been some must see TV.

The Bills are to the Chiefs what the Yankees are to the Astros. Same vibes with the season on the line.

Not really, it was 6 seconds from the 2 minute then punt. Maybe 7 seconds for the punt.
On that series, Detroit threw the ball on first and third down (both incomplete passes) rather than running the ball every down to keep the clock running. And they were moving the ball on the ground. Aggy at his best.

I came here to squat on Baker Mayfield.

Pathetic clock management by Detroit.

It was nice to have a season where I wasn’t pulling for us to lose games, so we’d get a better position in the draft.

I rmr when the swimsuit issue was cool back in 1990
I rmr when the swimsuit issue debuted in 1964. There was a combination of excitement and outrage. People (parents) cancelled their son’s SI subscriptions because women posing in swimsuits was too provocative and inappropriate for a sports magazine. This issue was not coffee table material. As young red-blooded American males, we couldn’t wait for the swimsuit issue. Every damn year, this song and dance repeated itself.

RecycLiCo Battery Materials Announces Zarko Meseldzija to Step Down from CEO and Board Positions
January 23, 2024 - Surrey, B.C. Canada
RecycLiCo Battery Materials Inc. (“RecycLiCo” or the “Company”), TSX.V: AMY, OTCQB: AMYZF, FSE: ID4, announced today that Zarko Meseldzija will be stepping down from his roles as Chief Executive Officer of the Company and as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors.
The Board has begun searching for a successor to lead the Company in its growth phase to become a leading supplier of sustainable lithium-ion battery recycling technology. Mr. Meseldzija will remain with the Company through February 29, 2024and will be assisting with the transition process, which is not expected to have any adverse impact on the Company’s project timelines or day-to-day operations.
Paul Hildebrand, the Chairman of the Board said, “Zarko has been an integral part of RecycLiCo's journey. We are grateful for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
About RecycLiCo
RecycLiCo Battery Materials Inc. is a battery materials company specializing in sustainable lithium-ion battery recycling and materials production. RecycLiCo has developed advanced technologies that efficiently recover battery-grade materials from lithium-ion batteries, addressing the global demand for environmentally friendly solutions in energy storage. With minimal processing steps and up to 99% extraction of lithium, cobalt, nickel, and manganese, the patented, closed-loop hydrometallurgical process turns lithium-ion battery waste into battery-grade cathode precursor, lithium hydroxide, and lithium carbonate for direct integration into the re-manufacturing of new lithium-ion batteries.
AMYZF didn’t crater with this news. My take is a large investor put pressure on the company to get its shit in gear.
