Quite good. Nice oak, some cherry upfront, appropriate amount of burn on the finish. Everything you’d expect in a good ECBP pick.

I love the edition to EC’s lineup. I don’t have to hunt the A,B, and C barrel proof releases. If I really want Blackwells has them for $20 mark up, or I’m content in just drinking store picks.

Premier has ECBP for $150 but the private for $70.

12 vs 8 on the age statement but I've enjoyed the 8 I bought.

    wow, congrats

Paying $350/night for a 3 bedroom Nicaraguan house rental in 2008 was fucktarded, regardless of how you try to spin it.

While we are at it would you like to share your Nica experiences?

My wife just ordered a 10 ft tall plastic skeleton Halloween yard decoration that cost a mere $300.  We live in the country and have never had a trick or treater.

If it is the one my wife tried to buy they also weigh like 80lbs.

    A 3 bedroom house with pool...in 2008...in Nicaragua....for $350 USD/night?

Unless it was a fucking mansion, "much cheaper" is a ridiculous claim.

I can rent an oceanfront 3 bedroom house with pool in Cozumel right now for less than $350/night.

I went to Los Suenos in 2015 and everything cost double what I paid in Nicaragua.  Cozumel sucks.

  5. I went with 2 other guys in 2008.  Flew into Managua, rented a car and got out of there. Managua at the time was the most 3rd world place I had ever been.  Like wagons pulled by donkeys primitive.   Rented a 4 wheel drive SUV because the road down to San Juan del Sur was washed out and generally shitty.

    Beer was $2

    Surf was great.

    Caught a massive Rooster fish.

House was 3 bedroom with a pool for $350 a night.

Would go back.  It's like Costa Rica's much cheaper cousin.

Bad reviews? That's interesting. What are the chief complaints? It's simple really. They charge you $10/month, do all the research to move you around from company to company when your contracts expire and supposedly fit you with the best plan for your usual usage, etc. I feel that my bills have been roughly about the same as they were when I was doing all the meticulous work previously to find the best provider every six or 12 months. Maybe I'm not saving every last nickel but not having the sunk cost of having to pore over each carrier is worth it to me. Before my buddy's provider (Breeze) went tits up, he used to just put me in their best-priced plan. It was awesome. For me, $10 extra per month to have somebody do the dirty work for me seems worth it.

What I read was people previously happy with it were now getting stuck with bad contracts.  I didn't bother to look further but $120 a year to stay low would be something that would interest me.

Last month was the highest power bill I have ever had.

  7. Burnt Bean is still putting out the good shit. This morning the brisket was top tier. Also loved the street corn pudding.

Some guys got there early and ordered for me so I didn’t get to try the barbacoa. Shame. Need to go back.
