  1. JC was a burner and a slasher. Brooks is a physical back who has some speed. He is not a poor man's JC, he is a rich man's Keontay Ingram.
  2. This entire thread is packed full of the kind of hard hitting information that makes Surly special. For those of us who couldn't listen to the press conference, reading this thread makes it seem as if we were actually in attendance. Well done Assholes!
  3. I watched Hannah dominate in travel ball last year. She was deciding between us and LSU and chose the good guys! She is a good kid and a really good player. This is a big pick up
  4. Their QB can play and their offensive talent is better than what Rice rolled out there. They are obviously not a juggernaut, but if Texas sleep walks, they will score.
  5. Texas will have much more of the playbook available this week than what we showed week 1. I would not be surprised to see a slow start from the good guys, but the talent difference is much to great for Wyoming to overcome. If Peasley is out, or greatly limited, Texas covers in a big way. With Peasley, I think they might keep it closer...maybe 37-16
  6. Wyoming can score points and if Texas comes out flat they could keep it interesting. Hopefully Sark gets the team back on track and doesn't allow a let down.
  7. Before Saturday, I would have swore that Saban had sold his soul to the devil and would coach until he was 120 years old. During the game Saturday I noticed on several occasions that Saban had the look of a beat down old man. His comments after the game did nothing to change my mind. In years past, Saban would have publicly castrated his players for making multiple stupid mistakes and penalties, yet on Saturday he just shook his head and moved on. As we age, we all reach a point where we realize that we are not as good as we once were, and that day has come for both Bama and their beloved head coach.
  8. From Tampa Florida where the sun always shines! TEXAS!
  9. Once he gains the required weight, his arms will be much shorter.
  10. It was a poor throw, it was late, it was underthrown, and it took Worthy out of bounds. Worthy was two yards behind the defender when the ball was thrown and he almost had to stop to catch it. Quinn has a big arm, so that's not the issue, mechanics and timing are. That being said, I expect him to throw for 3 bills and Texas wins by 15 this weekend.
  11. Quinn's problem witht the deep ball isn't "getting more air under it". He has been inaccurate and seems to throw the ball a bit late. On the ball to Worthy, in particular, he not only threw the ball out of bounds, but he also should have thrown it much sooner.
  12. Agreed, and she hasn't even learned to tie her own damn shoes yet.
  13. Ewers throws for 350 and 3 td's.....We're screwed, we never should have had to throw it this much. Ewers throws for 190 and 1 td.....We're screwed, Ewers sucks and Sark has lost his touch with playcalling.
  14. He catches well for a guy with a lunch pail in one hand.
  15. With post like these, it's Gouda the season is about to start.
  16. you guys may have him confused with Parker Livingstone....He is the real "bring a lunch pail to work" guy.
