I don’t give a fuck who is playing. Shit coaching is shit coaching. I could see it with Shaka and everyone could see it in that scared as fuck second half we tossed out there today. That was fucking horrible coaching all the way around.

Sark coached tighter and more conservative than turtle Tom in the 2nd half tonight. His record is horrible and it won’t be getting better here. Year 13 of shit football. Yeah!
-
I think Sark should just say fuck the Big 12 and run Overshown out there to start the game. Are they gonna forcibly remove him from the field?

You know I wasn’t a big fan of the hire but I agree with whoever said that we can’t judge him fully until the line and Ewers are older
I hated the hire, but everything he has done since (except losing 6 in a row) and how he has represented Texas has made me really hope he is the guy.

Umm...no. Not BS, so you can love it - surprised the hell out of me, too. The instrument he carried around was the tuba but good ol' aggy can't call it a tuba because it starts with "tu" so he called it the bass horn - in case you need more aggyness. His brother was in the corps/band and 95% sure he could not play either, as I never saw him play an instrument in HS either.
If I doubted you (I don’t) you would have convinced me with “bass horn” because only aggy is dumb enough to come up with something like that.

This seems a bit harsh but I don’t fully disagree. I can’t see where taking on the Nebraska job or something similar would be any fun at his age for sure. If Sark manages to drive this thing into a ditch, having GP take over would make a ton of sense. Texas is finally loaded with the right kind of talent. We just need coaching.
I actually see Patterson in a role similar to Tomey with Mack. Someone to come look under the hood and make some adjustments and help get it up and running right. I know that some of the more reliable posters on here have had gripes about practice reps. I don’t doubt GP had something to do with the pod style practice we have heard about. He has obviously made a big influence on the defense too. I noticed against Monroe that we had multiple coaches on the field shifting players into the right spot before the snap and then demolishing the play. It happened several times against Bama too. He always seemed to have what looked like a fairly simple defense with players that knew their role and played fast and loose.
I haven’t seen our defense play like they did against Bama since the days of Muschamp. I take back every bad thing I ever said about sweaty Gare. He can stay as long as he likes.

You know what the narrative would be if Bryce young was knocked out of the game early and Texas went on to barely win.
I want to know what the coverage of the hit would have been if it was a Overshown pile driving Bryce Young instead of Dallas Turner on Ewers.

Fisher: "NOTHING is more important than winning."
Ah, so Jimbo runs the “conglomerate” offensive play calling. I wonder if he picked that up from the great Chuck Strong.

Lulz... yell leader accidentally self owns at 6:25 mark.
"Why is it so hard for this A&M I MEAN... App State football team to create a website? Because they can't string three W's together"
I watched way too much of this. I mean, I know that aggies are weirdos, but it never seems to fully sink in just how weird. I’m just glad they made a special school just for them.

Maybe he can get someone to inject concentrated platelet-poor plasma into the joint to buffer the inflammatory cytokines and boost alpha-2-macroglobulin and IRAP? Should minimize inflammation and pain, time of remodeling, reduced risk of osteoarthritis, etc.

Has anyone listened to the new On Texas Football podcast with the title “Injury Updates/Charles Wright Expectations”?
They are pessimistic that Card is able to start this week. Bobby mentioned a twisted ankle in the pile. Would love to see any screen shots of that injury.

He cannot or will not hire an OC. That antiquated offense is Jimbo. He is the OC.
And if you listened to his presser, there were plenty of big plays if only his players would execute. But he takes full responsibility.

They were trying to make the 90s Miami teams look like boyscouts. I have hated Bama with a passion since I first encountered those fucksticks at the 93 SEC Championship and hate them even more now.

After watching that Dallas Turner hit again…….fuck that guy, he knew exactly what he was doing
I’m still pissed. My Bama friends (yes I have some unfortunately) best keep their distance or watch their words around me for a couple of weeks. Fuck that Guy for sure.
I’m also sick of all of the “legal hit” people. I heard Bucky say it in the post game and Eric Nahlin say it too as well as the usual internet trolls. It was illegal for the exact reason Ewers is out for 4-6 weeks.

If I was a reporter at Saban presser:
Coach, you obviously must be frustrated with the numerous penalties called against your #1 squad; that said, you must be pleased one of your penalties resulted in injuring the Texas starting QB. Perfectly executed roughing the passer, am I right?

Just telling the truth. I’ve been here since ‘09. Surly and its predecessors are the best forum out there. Your team is rising. Be glad. Hate me all you want. I respect Texas football and always have. I won’t be satisfied until we even up the series. P.S. Nobis stuffing Namath in the Orange Bowl is still the most devastating thing I’ve ever seen in sports. Onward and upward.
I have Bama friends and coworkers. Not as bad a group as people (me definitely included) typically label them.
But I will now tell all those bastards that I will always put an asterisk by those 2 Bama wins since you knocked out our starting QB in the first quarter both times. Colt was a freak accident today was illegal.

I live in Florida and surrounded by Bammers. I ran mid Saturday errands and had at least 5 or 6 Bama fans stop to tell me how much we impressed them.
We earned respect today if nothing else.
I’m still fuming about the Ewers hit.

That's... actually a great analogy. "Here it is now hit it / here it is now stop it"
Like VY running the Pitman wheel route two plays in a row against OU.
I think Casey Studdard said he was telling the CU players what play was coming as he walked to the line in the Big 12 championship

55-28 Bama. Quinn gets 215
We've lost 8 of our last 11
