While I have many issues with Christianity, this is the most confusing one to me. He is a false prophet that stands for everything Jesus was against. He even sells bibles. I know blasphemy is a big word for these people but damn how do they not see the hypocrisy in all they follow politically
If you were writing a movie/tv show, and needed to create an Anti-Christ character... you wouldn't even have to change anything. He's perfect.

Paying off porn stars in the Oval Office. This makes me so mad, because it just reminds me how unpresidential Obama was that time he rolled up his sleeves there.

IT:
So, without giving it away, who is the player?
To borrow a line from the The Big Lebowski, he’s “a f****** veteran that’s who.”
He’s experienced. He helps at a need position. He’ll be a rotational piece who lends versatility to the position group.

Also, 155 million people voted and the republican nominee was a lifelong criminal conman who was an absolute fucking disaster as president. It's embarrassing Biden only got 80 million votes.

Chase this fucking idiot off so we can go back to talking about how Trump is on trial for paying hush money to a porn star so he could win a presidential election.

The inability to even acknowledge the question, much less answer it, is amazing.
"Did you meet with Kim Jong Un?"
"Why yes, I do have a birthday coming up."
"No, I asked, did you meet with Kim Jong Un?"
"Interesting question. But yes, I think the Chiefs can only get better after selecting Worthy in the first round. Anyway....."

RFK Jr. was interviewed by Ari Melber earlier, and said that his campaign team commissioned a $200k, 50 state poll. This poll had Brain Worms defeating both Biden and Trump in one one one matchups. I think he said he beat Biden in 39 of 50 states. A dubious Melber replied "But you're only on the ballot in like two states."
Mr. Worms also said that Biden is playing the role of spoiler in this election, because he has no chance of winning. He said this with a straight face.

Not that long ago, her political career would have been over. Now we're wondering if she'll be our next Vice President or not.

I love how at the OTF site, olds will just start a new thread to state some inspirational bullshit (check out today’s “Sark doesn’t rest on his laurels” offering).
"Sark has figured out that in order to win championships, you must constantly improve your roster."
Hold on, let me get a pencil and paper. This is good shit and I don't want to forget it.

People involved in obstruction typically won't include the judiciary. Yet here we sit. We are going to have to win in November for any trial of consequence to even take place. Ridiculous.
The real problem to me isn't that lawyers are throwing everything they have at this (that after all is their job). The problem is that judicial system is completely compromised by the politics of the day, rather than the heart of the matter. I'm not sure how you solve that.
The Supreme Court is purposefully slow-walking something that should have been pushed to the front of the line pronto, a la Bush v Gore. And everyone (well, everyone paying attention, which is probably about 10% of society) is like "Yeah that sounds about right."

I just read this whole thread, so I wanted to jump in here.
First of all, I appreciate everyone's opinion. And more specifically I agree with some folks here about certain issues.
I want everyone to know that we don't think or expect the OTF message board to be for everyone. In fact, we know it won't be. It's simply not what we're attempting to do.
There are already places where people are comfortable and where they enjoy being.
SurlyHorns is a perfect example of this. Folks enjoy this place. Clearly. Hell, I enjoy it when I come over here, that's one of the reasons I first reached out to Rick, so I totally get it.
The second part is really important to me and why we manage the OTF message board the way we do in comparison to other "premium" sites...
When I say dozens of recruits, parents of recruits, and parents of existing players on the team watch or listen to OTF daily, it is a very real thing.
I think every single recruit who committed to Texas last year - all of them - knows and has watched OTF. I'm not saying that to brag, I'm saying it because that specific viewership brings a certain level of responsibility to OTF as it relates to the university on the whole.
In my opinion, it's important to have a place like the OTF message boards and a site like OTF to be relatively clean. Not without opinion mind you, but certainly one that would not shock the system of newcomers either.
I feel like OTF does a really good job of holding up that end of the bargain, and we will continue to do so.
The third thing is this:
While Surly is primarily a message board/community. OTF is primarily a news service with a community attached.
OTF is much more like Orangebloods, Inside Texas or Horns247.
Each of those sites, I have found through the years, gets extremely provincial. They don't like it when another site is referenced or they get petty about their own reporting, etc.
I've been doing this stuff for 30 years and I'm just done with that.
I also know that some parents of recruits sometimes subscribe to those sites, visit the message boards, and they see a bunch of in-fighting, followed by nudie pics, name calling, or cliques that live to make fun of others, and the parents immediately think to themselves, what the hell is going on at Texas?
Is that's what's best for Texas?
So for me, this is NOT about OTF vs OB. Or OTF vs IT.
This is really about Texas vs the rest of college football/college sports. And that's what I want the focus of OTF to be about.
We appreciate everyone who has joined OTF. We're doing our best to bring you news whether it's via video/podcast or the website and I think we're doing it in a way that is best for all involved. It won't be for everyone and we get that.
I just appreciate the folks who have given us a chance and who continue to support what we're trying to do.
Thanks, Bobby
Thanks Bobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Man, imagine future people learning about all of this. "Wait so he tried to steal the 2020 election. Everyone watched it happen in real time. Like, he tried so many different ways to steal an election he lost."
"Yes."
"..... including phone calls that were taped, in which he instructed states to alter their vote count so he would win?"
"Yes."
".... including organizing a mob and sending them to the Capitol."
"Yes."
".... and four years later, he was the nominee again? Why was he not in jail?"
"Reasons."

this is where i lay the blame. even congress was able to jump on the ball and have an impeachment trial in a matter of weeks.
Nothing really happened until after the 1/6 committee was finished. By that point it had been almost two years. Thanks Merrick.

Four years just wasn't enough time to prosecute him for trying to steal the last election, I guess. Probably shouldn't have sat on their hands for two years.

In my defense, I once turned down a client who asked me to represent him in a simple name change . . . to Skywalker.
That would have worked if you hadn’t stopped me.- 1
