I honestly thought I'd killed the guy when it first happened. It was a really awful deal.

My pregnant wife was in the front seat, and we lost the baby as a result.

Holy shit, I'm so sorry man, that is terrible.

Totaled my truck in January because some asshole did this right in front of me. Actually got it on my dash cam:

Holy fuck I would be so livid. This is unbelievable.

  3. So I got a chance to play last night for a bit. Performance was not too great on my 1080, as I was experiencing significant framerate stuttering.

I adjusted some settings and it became more playable, also not playing on that one snowy map helped.

It doesn't really have a WW2 feel for me but it was still enjoyable. I agree it feels fast similar to BF1 but I found the guns more enjoyable than those of BF1. I think it has promise but I guess we'll see as time goes on.

  4. One time I almost got in a massive pileup caused by a GRILL that had fallen out of someone's truck bed on I-45. That was a wonderful experience.

I'm impressed by the amount of people I see drive over the pylons to get into the managed lanes on I-10 when they see traffic starting to back up but they didn't want to pay the toll.

Guys, as an objective observer, let me give you a pep talk.

This is a difficult environment to open the season.  Maryland isn’t terrible, they know they’re not supposed to win this game, and they’re at home.  They’re going to play with reckless abandon.

Texas is rusty, all the pressure is on them, they’re on the road, far away from home, and the opponent doesn’t suck.

It’s not surprising Texas looks shitty but I think the horns will exhaust Maryland in the second half and pull away.   The key to a successful program in college ball is conditioning.  If you can out fatigue the opponent, you will win most of your games.

So give these boys 60 minutes of play before passing judgment. They deserve that much.

Probably right but let me have my moment of panic.

    I'm so frustrated lately.

Lazy Keto just doesn't seem to work anymore.  Only fasting seems to work.  And even then...not always.  I'm on OMAD this week and have gained weight.  Broccoli and meat once a day.  Gain weight. Yay.

The stuff I ordered for my gallbladder (mentioned above in my last post) should be here soon.  Once I have it, I may start easing back into extended fasting.  2:5, 3:4, then back to 4:3 if everything seems to be working ok (i.e. no more damn attacks).

I'm also restricting my menu.  Meats. Cheeses. Broccoli. Butter.  No more nuts, A1, or bbq sauce.

I have to figure this out.  No reason I should be stalling at this weight.

I feel you man. I'm stalling out at 200 now. It can be frustrating but keep in mind where you used to be compared to where you are now.

I've started lifting regularly again but might need to really start tracking my calories if I want to push further.

    Keep it up!

Started keto this Monday.  Already down 6 lbs which I assume is water weight.  I'm 41, weigh 205(or I guess 199 now) and would like to be 180-185.

Did sugar busters about 19 years ago when I was 22 and lost 41 lbs in 40 days.  From 210-169.  Settled in to 185 over the next few years  then 200 then 190 for a while.  The past 2 years, craft beer has killed me.  I work out a ton but haven't been able to get rid of the gut.

Funny thing is, I drink a decent amount, as in most nights but not huge quantity each night.  Usually crave a beer or wine every night, but haven't craved at all since I started.

Probably going to have a few tonight and this weekend.  As far as liquor goes, I'm a bourbon and water and vodka-soda guy already so no worries there.

I assume Mich Ultra(nasty) is ok to have 2-3.  What about Cabernet?  I keep reading its ok to have a dry wine (I'd probably have 2 glasses max) but just am worried about it, especially with no health info on label.

Cab is fine in limited quantities. I wouldn't imagine 2 glasses wrecking havoc on your ketosis. My gf and I have wine on occasion, but when I drink I try to stick with hard liquor and a carb free mixer. Don't forget to factor in the calories though if you are also counting them.

  8. I use Taylor of Old Bond Street. Sandalwood, cedarwood, and avocado (sounds weird, smells good) are typically the scents I go with.

I get the cream over the soap as it takes less time to get a good thick lather going.

for those of you that don’t like cooking but want to eat well: buy a crockpot, learn how to use it. Seriously, I’ve made some damn good chicken breast using some simple spices like garlic powder, onion powder, sriracha. Steam some broccoli with it and you have meals for 3 days. Cut some chicken breasts in half (4 breasts total), throw the crockpot on high for 4 hours, add some spices and leave.

Try substituting the breasts for thighs. Much more flavor and they remain more moist.

    Chicken thigh master race.

Avoid variable rate plans and read the Electricity Facts label. Some plans have minimum usage requirements, some have different pricing tiers based on usage. Having some idea of how much electricity he’ll use would help a lot.

An apartment is unlikely to go over 1000kwh unless he runs the a/c low all day. I’ve seen cheap plans in the past that are a flat $30 for all use up to 999 kWh but if you go over, they add $100 plus charge a few cents per kWh. That can expensive quick if he’s not careful.

I use one of these plans. It is pretty awesome. There are only 2 months in the year I typically go over 100kWh, July and August. That shoots the bill up to about $140 but throughout the rest of the year I'm paying $30 and it still comes out way less than just about every other type of plan I could find.

As long as you are prepared for the big price bump those two months it is no issue. I was on a month to month plan previously and my monthly bills were around $110-$150 already before I switched.

Damn, as always, I admire you guys' exegesises regarding shit like this.

    I left with two observations.

I surprisingly like Adam Driver in everything I've seen him except this.

Lucas is kind of getting obsessive with suicide missions.  Like some weird, sick infatuation with young people killing themselves for the cause. In the times we live in, I am not a fan of this.

Lucas? He has no control over these movies.

Personally I think Adam Driver's Ren is one of the high points of these movies.

Seems like when I've done that I've had an almost immediate noticeable drop in my weight. Pretty crazy. Went out Saturday as noted above, pretty much fasted yesterday aside from some bacon and heavy cream/buttered coffee. Got up this morning and the scale was on 243 and a fraction. I haven't seen that weight in over a year. I'm beginning to think that a cheat meal a week may be a GOOD thing for weight loss. I don't know if there's any science to support this theory but it seems to be what happens to me.

Every time I have a cheat meal I find that I drop a pound or two. I've done this to help break stalls.

And you think the DNC is pro christian ? For sure lots of democrats are christians or people of other faiths, but a large segment of the DNC is anti religion.  You think otherwise ?

No lol. I feel that they are pretty neutral when it comes to religion. Far from being ANTI-christian.

I can't speak to why trump gets a pass, but part of it is the anti christian vibe the DNC emits, and it does, so you can save the posts denying that fact.
