  1. Comey seemed pretty adamant that he revealed as much as he could without compromising any future actions as a witness, and that the FBI had reviewed for classified or undisclosed material.  I don't think he is likely to provide any further color than what's in the book.

Comey disputes it.  So that settles it.  What did Nixon say about Watergate?

Yes, I fully support the idea that he cannot be wrong.  Yeesh.

My point is that he probably knows a helluva lot more about his duties than you do, unless you haven't disclosed something.  I'm unable to judge either way, but that kind of honesty just isn't allowed on a message board when "Incredulity" is here to drop knowledge on us.

It is factual that it is against SOP/policy for a FBI investigator, and even the Head of the FBI, to provide color/summary/intent on an active investigation.

It is factual that Comey disputes this, so maybe not.  You're FBI?

Its veracity or Lorreta's integrity aren't the point.

Comey circumventing the process is a really, really bad situation.  Just like BO with his Pen and Phone, and now subsequently Trump.  That is not how it is supposed to work and when Public Servants overstep there bounds they need to be called out on it.

Comey clearly thinks he didn't overstep his bounds.  So, we have one man who built his career in the FBI and rose to the top of the bureau VS some dude on a message board.  I'm not saying some dude isn't right, but maybe you just really don't have a fucking clue what you're talking about.

By the way, Lynch didn't think he overstepped his bounds, either.

But, 1. Hopdoddy. Overrated AF. $20+ for burger fries and a drink?

A cheeseburger and fries at Hopdoddy is $11.  Yeah, it's "high" compared to Top Notch, but well less than Roaring Fork and equal to Waterloo Ice House, and better than all three.  I'm not sure I get the complaint (other than the wait, which is ridiculous).

  6. After seeing a few of his recent interviews, I find Comey a very interesting character.  I can definitely see why people think he's an attention whore.  He doesn't mind the spotlight.

He has an oddly earnest, folksy way of speaking and is the opposite of circumspect.  I think he tries very very hard to appear fair, and presumably, to BE fair.  He's obviously quite intelligent and I don't really think he could be legitimately accused of not taking his job seriously.  He loves his country and has a high regard for the FBI and DOJ.

I don't think he'd make a good CIA or NSA guy, but cops can be more idiosyncratic.  His career success doesn't surprise me.

Ok.  What about the policies of the current Democrat party do you find to be characteristically left?

Your attempt to cast current D perspective in light of the world view is distracting.  What matters is where they are relative to the opposition RIGHT NOW.

Never mind that the average Republican would have us believe all Democrats are Communists.

Sorry, I wish there was a difference, but if there is, it's small.  If you notice, things have been trending in a particular direction, and that trend has only, if anything, just slowed a bit during the (admittedly brief) recent periods when the Ds have had control of one or more houses of Congress.  Obama did nothing end our imperial wars in the Middle East, for ex.  There may well be individual Ds that have principles and speak out against tax cuts for the rich and increased defense spending, but other Ds vote for those things and they still happen.  If you think the Ds aren't the GOP lite now, you aren't paying attention.  Hillary is about as conservative as Nixon, again, if you leave aside social issues.  Funny pictures don't change that.

Sorry, that's just damage control.  The Dems can rightly be criticized for a variety of things, but the gulf between them and the 'pubs is vast.

Perfect.  Lawyer files motion in District Court that the allegations against Cohen in the Steele dossier are false.  See that means it really is true.

Lawyer says that the references to Cohen in the dossier are false.  Twitter person gets reposted by saying "lawyer says entire dossier is debunked".

I realize you're nothing but a low level troll, but it would really be nice if you could actually try to contribute something now and again.  M'kay?

I already told you, even if the House flips, it doesn't matter.

    House will impeach.

No matter what the evidence reveals, the Senate will acquit.

But that's a good thing.  It's not the best thing, but it's a brighter light, and that matters.  What will matter more is whether or not any voter momentum will be maintained into 2020.
