Remember Perry’s baby, the Trans-Texas Corridor? And the push to privatize Texas tollroads?

Guess who represented the European consortium behind it? Giuliani’s Law firm.   While Giuliani was running for President  and while Giuliani’s law firm was awarded work from TxDOT during this time

Guess who helped Perry on his last election or two?  Giuliani

Guess who burned down the governor's mansion to hide evidence of his gay affair?

What a bunch of fucking pussies. Try standing in line for hours only to be given shitty seats out of a spinning wooden box. Then get your head kicked in by coug high on parents weekend and the only water in the stadium dribbles out of a 70 year old fountain. Pussies.

    That wasn't a fountain . .  . it was a trough-based urinal.

Cries of partisan witch hunt ??  If the financial receipts and paper trail show deep foreign indebtedness, money laundering, bank fraud, and tax evasion, I’d like to see GOP try to fall back on ‘witch hunt’.  They’ll get their asses bbq’d at the Nov. election.

The ‘slow bleed’ is total Trump WH stonewalling and obstruction.  Total lack of cooperation and transparency.  WH is forcing this to go through the courts to delay the inevitable.  Given what it looks like they believe they’ll find (reasons to believe they already have a damn good idea), it would be well worth the wait.  JMO.

If it's what you say it is, I love it.

  4. The actual Muller Report has faded from our consciousness and is old news, but . . . I am six weeks in on the podcast “The Report” by Lawfare and it is a must-listen.  It is a serial podcast meant to break down every aspect of Muller’s Report.  Even-handed, and has great real audio, Report excerpts and interviews that really educate what was going on in front and behind the scenes.

  5. So much to comment on for this page:

    1.  Brad Parscale - San Antonio’s own...cancer.  I fully expect that historians will see his name prominently displayed in the unredacted Muller Report.  Five Mil to Cambridge Analytica is all his doing.  Nice work, Comrade.

    2.  Israel vs “the Squad” - does Israel reallllly want to tie itself to the GOP?   Alienate  60% of its Golden Goose.  Embassy moving to the Golan Heights in 2020 if Zion keeps playing parties against each other.

    3.  Why can’t any fuck-it-all, ner-do-wells infiltrate Trump’s circle?  Rent out weddings at Bedminster every weekend  Eventually Trump crashes your “wedding” - bride raises “her” veil - Trump lays a wet one on an orangutan.  Or an Ivanka look-alike.  Why can’t real protesters get inside one of his hate rallies?   What happened to our collective imagination for comedy and satire?   The Brits are running circles around us with the Baby Trump Blimp.   Sad.

    *cough* With what money?
The Preserve Lake Dunlap Assocation people are trying to start a water district to raise the needed $30 million by taxing themselves, the water front owners, something like $6-$8 linear waterfront foot per year for the next 30 years. GBRA has said they will sell them the dam for $1. That $30 doesn't cover maintenance, I don't believe, and since that's everyone's big contention, they might need to figure out the funding.

What I think probably should be done is the legislature, in 2 years, grant GBRA the ability to tax adjacent property owners and use that money to repair and maintain the dams. SARA is the only river authority that currently has taxing ability. But give GBRA that 6-8/ft/yr, let them get the bonds (as an existing government entitity) and repair the dams and use the money going forward for maintenance since they are shutting down the hydropower side.

The legislators involved could have asked hot wheels to call a special session, this all happened toward the end of the regular session, but they were asleep at the wheel and so here we all are.

Threaten to build an abortion clinic on the riverbed and Donna Campbell will actually do something for her constituents and come up with the money to replace the dams.

Based on his other solo stuff and the last Radiohead record, I don’t have high hopes. I’m the biggest Radiohead fanboi you’ll find but I’m afraid they’ve lost the plot.

You owe it to yourself to check out the Anima short film that is on Netflix.  It is only about 14 minutes, and covers three songs from York's album.  Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson with some mind bending choreography and a "story arc" that gives a better perspective about what Thom York's songs are trying to say better than his lyrics do.

She needs to be more smarter like Trump!

Or Duncan Hunter, or Matt Gaetz, or Steve King, or Devin Nunez, or Gym Jordan . . . all of whom have the same degree of Congressional power as AOC, but combined lack the space that AOC occupies in these old white guys’ heads on a permanent basis.

You think I’m right wing?  Why?

I’m just a long time lurker, but I am perplexed by trying to decipher what Fozz’s philosophy is.

To me, his position statements are riddles.  Say what you mean and be less mysterious.  I don’t think of myself as dense, but the posts leave me wondering why you can’t be more direct.   When someone like 4th and 5 (or me) states that they don’t know how you lean (left, right, libertarian, film noire), it’s not because they are trying to insult - we just don’t follow.

The only thing I can say for sure is that he doesn’t like FISA warrants.  When it comes to FISA warrants, he is like Randolph Duke vs Aggy.

Hard to guess but this from the Dotard basically confirms that it was NOT Iran:

In an interview on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” program, Trump said, referring to the Central Command video: “Well, Iran did do it, and you know they did it because you saw the boat.”

He added: “I guess one of the mines didn’t explode, and it’s probably got essentially Iran written all over it. And you saw the boat at night, trying to take the mine off and successfully took the mine off the boat. And that was exposed. That was their boat. That was them, and they didn’t want the evidence left behind.”

Remember the Maine!  To hell with Spain!

  11. They say. . . (1) that Melania moved back to New York 4-5 months ago, (2) Barron is not actually Donald's son, but may be Don Jr.'s son, and (3) Donald forced Melania to have an abortion when they were dating and before they got married because Donald was concerned that it was not his.

Just call him Wife Cheating Donald. The dems need to step up and start playing a little of his game.

Imagine a coordinated tweet attack among all Dem candidates, each dropping a bullying nickname at the same time.  Warren kicks off the party with "he calls me Pocohantas, what should Donald's 'Indian name' be?"

Suggestions tweeted by the minute: Little Hands Donald,  Putin's Reek, Bigly The PornSlayer, Raw Dog the Bounty Hunter. . . .

  13. Barr refused to address Congress' question of whether he had already shared / leaked the findings of Mueller's report to Team Trump, which means of course he has.  The delay in producing the redacted report is not because it is taking so long to redact it, but because Team Trump is using the time to refine their "counter-report" so that they can release it (and the Fox-friendly talking points) at the same time as the Mueller report.

  15. Path to defeat:

    (1) every voter distracted from real issues of health care, disappearance of middle class, corrupt / traitorous president,

    (2) shift focus to red meat click bait, including:  (a) reparations, bitch!, (b) late term / post-birth abortions (thanks, VA black-face Gov), (c) "socialism" as defined by Fox News and without push-back.

    (3) every "God-fearing, red-blooded" US citizen (including all of those related to me) can't shut up about this shit for months, worked into a 2020 voting frenzy.

Maybe these ideas open a path to nomination for more centric candidates like Biden or Beto.   Maybe they open up a conversation or ideology shift that awakens our grandchildren's generation.  They will not turn out votes that get Public Enemy No 1 out of office, but will turn out his closeted supporters in droves.

Clearer heads need to prevail.  Cut this shit out and focus on real problems, real solutions.  Stop injecting Red Bull into the MAGA veins.
