  1. Hurd was on the committee last term as well and rubber stamped all of the Nunez ‘release the memo’ nonsense intended to gloss over any real oversight on the Russia treason we have been living with for the last two years.  Biggest reason I voted for Ortiz-Jones over that Aggie.  2020 will be unkind to him despite his efforts to paint himself as a good Anti-Trump GOPer.

I could see that, although I'd be willing to be Goeb and the Governor are less on talking terms than Hot Wheels and the House.

I think the problem with the Senate is a lack of leadership. We have a potato head at the top that thinks he is a leader, but nobody respects except Donna Campbell (R-carpetbagger).

Oh, and did yall know she is a lesbian? Interdasting. She's not out, and I would hate to out anyone, but it's common knowledge around the capitol. I just wonder what her very red voters would think about that. Do they keep voting for her because (R) or do they go with their true hatred of da gayz?

How could she be lesbian? She sponsored a religious bill in 2014 that allowed for discrimination against gays.  Does not compute - need pics for confirmation.

    Bullshit.

    Quote from then President Obama,

“Couple of decades ago, Australia had a mass shooting, similar to Columbine or Newtown. And Australia just said, well, that’s it, we’re not doing, we’re not seeing that again, and basically imposed very severe, tough gun laws, and they haven’t had a mass shooting since.

Our levels of gun violence are off the charts. There’s no advanced, developed country that would put up with this.”

In addition, one of Hillary’s key positions was her opposition to the Heller decision that affirmed the individual’s right to bear arms. She was looking to place Supreme Court judges that disagreed with that decision.

Tell me again how they just want to regulate it.

"Take the guns first, go through due process second." -Not Obama

Beto is running.  This commentary on top of his recent appearances at the tent cities in Tornillo show him doing much more than testing the water.  The more criticism of the Trump at this point in the cycle, the better.  Don't know if the Operation Send Our Troops to the Border Just In Time for Election Day (aka Operation Scare the Olds) made the difference in the final outcome of our senate race or not, but Beto has a special standing to call that shit out for exactly what it was.  I expect Julien Castro is waiting to see what Beto does before throwing his hat in the ring.  Between those two, Beto definitely is the more tested candidate of the two.  He actually put his balls on the line to put some real skin in the game for Texas.

Bernie's saggy old man balls were too old in 2016 and he needs to keep his ass on the sidelines from here on out.  The free world cannot afford to have him be the 2020 nominee.

  6. Expect to be worn out after driving my Dodge Caravan full of seven Guatemalans around to vote in Medina, Kerr, Bandera and then Sutton Counties.  Probably will just cash my Soros check and head to bed

  7. In hindsight, we wasted those TOs, but at the time, our true freshman DB was mismatched on WV’s best receiver.  From my seat, each TO was a bullet dodged - and then No 7 jogged into the end zone.

  8. Godzillatron was out of control.   Texas fans know how to bring the noise when it matters.  Yesterday’s abomination of techno crap between every snap toolk energy out of the crowd.  In year’s past, we would have been rocking Texas Fight on WV’s last drive.  Instead, we get force fed Thunderstruck.   And many in the crown went quiet because they didn’t want to compete in a futile battle against Malcom Young cranked up to 11. They should have a band representative on hand in DJ DKR’s booth to coordinate when to yield the mic.  Also, get your hookems up? Child, please.

  9. For the same reasons that the Dallas Morning News' endorsement of Beto was insightful,  I would apply the same reasoning applies here.  Pelosi served, has had her turn, and is disliked by every (R) in the nation (dislike merging into hatred/visceral reaction for too many). Finding a new, unifying and better-representative voice in the House is the only to put out an open hand looking for a good-faith shake.  All idealism aside, Rs keeping the White House in 2020 will be easier if Pelosi is still their Boogey Man, and there too many better strategic options available.

Like Tenacious D told Ronnie James Dio - You're too old to rock, no more rockin' for you.  We're taking you home, but we will sing a song about you.
