Should've been Lily Gladstone but it was a tight field. Thought for sure they'd go with her because Emma Stone already has this Oscar.

I think the Billie Eilish song will win, but this is definitely more fun.
-
I may have had to boycott the Oscars if The Zone of Interest didn't win best sound. There was no comparison.

made me cry, was not expecting that. i love that they let him finish.
Zendaya...maybe needs to eat a sandwich? i mean has she always been that thin? seems she had more substance in Euphoria but that's been a couple years now.
She's always been tiny; she just wears baggy, ill-fitting stuff on Euphoria.

Billie should win Best Song. It’s not really close.
It's the betting favorite.

I support John Cena wearing nothing but birks.

I follow the Oscars pretty closely but it didn't really hit me till a few minutes ago that Barbie's adapted screenplay nomination was based on "Barbie, by Mattel". Big lulz on that stretch, and I liked the movie a lot.

Thanks for the rec. Good show. TBH, the one detective was annoying as fuck the first part of the series but thankfully toned it down after the drunk episode.
Totally agree.

Was at Schooner in Nederland yesterday and the crawfish prices hadn't changed yet, but they were talking about how they'd need to bump them up soon and how they'd held out as long as they could. I got the blackened opelousas with shrimp and crab and didn't miss crawfish at all, but we'll see how it goes a few months from now.

The Dune popcorn bucket is...turning heads.

All of Us Strangers. It is quiet, somber, odd, romantic. I'll be thinking about it for a while.

I think this also tracks back to his supposed extramarital affair; you know he's always been accused of having a wandering eye...
My husband's cousin is a secret service agent and when Trump was in office, he got us passes to see Air Force One land when Trump was coming to Austin for something. We're in no way Trump fans, but thought it would be cool to see the plane come in and all that. What I remember most from this is Ken Paxton going through the crowd greeting attendees, and all I could think about was his lazy eye. I didn't know where to look. /csb

I've watched that Jon Stewart video 4 times and bawled every time.
It's rough.
Did not mean to post that meme in that post - I'd copied it to send to my son but apparently also copied it here.

If you want a good show about two Odd-Couple-y detectives thrown together to solve a murder, check out Deadloch on Prime. If for nothing else but the pilot's a cappella rendition of I Touch Myself sung by a lesbian choir.

Are we to believe that Clark saw Navarro when he said "she's awake" and started seizing in the first episode? A "time is a flat circle" thing? Or did I completely misunderstand this?

Season 2's biggest issue was it wasn't Season 1
Also, Vince Vaughn and his character's dialogue were terrible
The scene where he's dying and he and Kelly Reilly are talking to each other in his mind? dream sequence? has some of the most cringeworthy dialogue I have ever seen. I could barely watch it.
