I'm assuming Hopsquad is just ass to ankles on gameday. What is Turnstile like?
Theres enough outdoor space that it isn’t too bad. The line to order was awful early on, but that has greatly improved once they opened the window for ordering. If the crowd is really big, they’ll open a third beer stand.
Also +1 on the burgers @Brisketexan. Big fan of the verde melt.

Where do you park at? We've always been Punchbowl Social, but the 1.1 mile walk back was miserable on Saturday.
There's some street parking around. We usually go down early and park on McHale. There's also a cutthrough behind the warehouses so you don't have to go up to Burnet.

3rd kit option is obviously Austin Ice Bats themed.
I’ve been so close to buying one of the Ice Bats jerseys that pops up in my Insta feed on occasion.

Any ideas on what formation we'll be trotting out to start with?
Nico to Phil West (from his newsletter Verde All Day which everyone should subscribe to):
The idea about formations is we use different formations when we have the ball, shapes between 4-3-3, the 4-4-2, the 4-2-3-1, also the 3-4-3, then it could shape differently depending also on the opponent. I always said that the opponent, the context that the opponent is showing you, and is bringing to you, is the way that you have to adapt to break them.

I think the way he's listed here (forward/winger) indicates that it will be either a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 but they won't be functionally different formations. I think I remember Nico specifically talking about playing 4-4-2 in defense so it could be a mix.

One thing that causes me concern is that I don’t see much discussion of a place for Gallagher. Y’all remember, our all-star? I feel he’s been very underutilized, he’s one of our 2-3 fastest players, and he can help create opportunities…if there’s a place for him to see the pitch. As of right now, he’s the first option off the bench at fullback and one of the wings. I think he sees a lot of time.

I think he will be great. I also think that Doyle, who wrote that article and who I respect, is stretched way too thin trying to cover every single team in the link. I don’t put a ton of stock in his very specific takes around systems.
I don’t think Uzuni works under Wolff’s system but Nico has talked a lot about being more flexible. I can see Biro providing the width on the opposite side from Bukari with Uzuni running underneath. A ton of potential in this club this year.

Honest question I don't know, but do they close broadways street in Nashville weekend nights? Bourbon is closed in New Orleans or is supposed to be.
i haven't been on 6th in 15 years and really haven't partied down there in 20 so none of this actually affects me in the slightest. Was just thinking out loud the problems I could see with it, I think keeping the riff raff in the bars and not the streets during drinking hours is smart.
The times I’ve been on Lower Broadway in the last couple years it has been open to cars. Super fun to sit on a rooftop bar and watch bachelorette party after bachelorette party roll through in open air buses.
I’m pretty sure they do close it off for major events.

The most important "not being Josh Wolff" characteristic would be his record. Miss.
I'm cautiously pessimistic and will hopefully be wrong. This Steve Davis piece on Estevez is excellent.

I kinda love how much they're leaning into him being not Josh Wolff. Mentioned bilingual in the second sentence of the press release, doing a meet & greet with the fans at the stadium this afternoon. Being super accommodating with the media. Hopefully this signifies a real change and isn't just window dressing.

Did you ask any questions? I didn't hear you.Just listened to the end and heard your question (you could also claim all of the Spanish questions because I just skipped through those). I'm glad you didn't ask anything stupid and make Rodo mad at you.
Was sitting right behind Goodman and caught the stray death stare when the Owen question came up.

Yeah, there’s times when you cede possession because it’s part of the game plan like last week and times you do it because you cannot get on the ball or complete the simplest of passes like today.
