  1. http:// https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/sanctioned-or-not-russians-abroad-find-their-money-is-toxic-2022-03-30/ "I am dealing with Russians who can't get out of hotels, students who have no money because credit cards are valueless," said Bob Amsterdam, a founding partner of Washington- and London-based law firm Amsterdam & Partners. "Banks ... are refusing Russians bank accounts: they are closing their doors to Russians on nationality," said Amsterdam, who is based in London. "Leading law firms in the City have closed their doors to Russians in terms of nationality." "Currently, everything that is Russian is toxic, which means that everyone is trying to be extremely, extremely careful in terms of what to do with Russian clients," said the lawyer, a dual Russian and British citizen, who runs a law firm in Zurich.
  2. I was hoping for artillery splashes, but the “eastern” Benny Hill music works.
  3. This is the farthest turret-to-chassis final resting places I’ve seen yet. http://
  4. The Irpin liberation news warms my heart. The “Let’s Ready to Rumble” boys were defending Irpin and said “we are going to massacre them”, hopefully they made it. http://
  5. Yeah the technicals that started showing up have been very telling. The mighty Red Army conducting offensive maneuvers in commandeered / field built technicals, oooff. Although the guys in the technicals may be in the best shape to get to safety if/once we get to the TUGS phase during a retreat.
  6. Action movie Blunt is best Blunt.
  7. The bigger question in your scenario is: how long can Russia endure with its economy in tatters? Is a ~30-50% GDP reduction for years worth some little slivers of land? The US defense budget alone is over $600B. We could keep sending Ukraine a billion a month in material, etc. and it would probably be some of the best ROI ever with how much we’re getting from Russia.
  8. At this point, somebody could do an entire calendar of just T-72s with their tops off.
  9. This is it, this is Putin calling uncle and pulling back to Donbas. Don’t take your foot off the gas Zelensky.
  10. Yeah, the ammo compatibility is a factor, but I think he was a little wary of issuing an open invitation for unknown armed men to enter the country. At least if they are unarmed, Ukraine has an opportunity to do a cursory check before handing them a rifle.
  11. The official statement from the Ukrainian Gov stated that volunteers were not to bring arms and that arms would be provided. That said, lots of modern ARs in recent pictures. Wali is shooting a Sako TRG 338 Lapua (~$4k Finnish gun topped with a $3k Schmidt and Bender scope; probably not laying around every barracks in Ukraine). The dudes from Georgia (Asia) showed up with a Barrett .50 cal rifle and were cleared at customs. The Americans on video today were sporting AKs (not American rifles). Situation’s fluid.
  12. These guys are pros taking down a T-72 with their BTR. Driver and gunner are firing right over their infantry, maybe a little too close, but I’m glad I’m not fighting them. http://
  13. Here’s the full video. Worth the watch. http://
  14. French volunteers. High morale. “Let’s Ready to Rumble” : ) http://
  15. Although now that I think about it, that would set Zelensky up for an epic “Come and get them” quote moment; so please Lavrov, go ahead and ask for your shit back in a few months.
  16. Not cold blooded at all; it just is what it is. Once it became clear the Ukrainians could hold their own, our Brass should be trying to make the most out of the opportunity to gut Putin. At this point I would have made it a personal goal to make sure any wheeled/tracked vehicle that touched Ukrainian soil never makes it back to Russia. I fully expect that ridiculous cunt Lavrov to have the gall to ask Ukraine for all the Russian vehicles back when this is over. “It’s just theft!”
  17. This is an interesting one. One guy looks to have an AR, can’t figure out the optic, maybe thermal or something, the rubber eyepiece almost looks like the stuff the Russians use.
  18. Tapatalk failing… Link: http://
  19. Looks like the second boat got clipped good this AM
