  1. Wish I'd taken a polaroid of my first guitar. It was awful but it was all I could barely afford and I didn't know any better. Our lead player loved it and ended up using it while I sang hands free. It was the least damage I could do.

    Goddam that was fun.

Yes indeed. I ordered it from Epivo since they make the length to order. I actually got it for my R7 but I picked up this 58 in the meantime and it was the perfect color, plus I hadn't put strap locks on it yet.

    Things I didn't know I wanted Alex...

Looks perfect!  He didn't set the bias on setup?  Also, how is the clearance between those Webers and the cap can?  I have maybe a mm between mine, but it wasn't built with those in there.

    It's very close.

Those are the speaker "bell covers," and there's no way to have them on the top two speakers in that amp.  I keep mine on a table.  They are filled with all sorts of good crap.  What I'm talking about is the capacitor cover (silver box) just above the magnet of your top-right speaker (when viewed from the back).  Here's the clearance on mine (same speaker you have).

Ah, I'll take a look when I get home.

Wife says, "Need any help with that?"

    Me, "Yes, stay off Poshmark."

The cap cans of the two top speakers came wrapped separately...they'll stay off.

Guitar Center deal of hte day is the G&L ASAT placenta-ish tele type in blue quartz for $240. Not far from Lake Placid blue

I've never had a G&L, so if I bought it I could justify it as for research purposes.
