    So Durango makes the cut?

  2. Did it 5 years ago.  Wife complains weekly about some bullshit in regards to shopping or family being a jog, but then we go for a hike or realize our 5 year old can ski and she gets past it.  As long as work allows it I'm not going anywhere.

  3. Kante, Dave and Christensen are the only two I'm interested in keeping, burn the rest down

    Hazard looked like hot garbage

Morata is described well per Rich

Cesc and Willian are past it

    Moses adds nothing

    Alonzo is getting exposed defensively

    Cahill assisted their goal

Rudiger can stay if he can learn to stop with the aggressive tackles

Emerson, Odoi, Drinkwater, Barkley and Sterling should get minutes so we can see what we have in them for the rest of the season

  4. My wife has the entire movie memorized.  We were in Munich for Oktoberfest and had a couple channels at the hotel.  One was showing The Rock, dubbed in German.  She translated it for a good 20 minutes with decent accents. Was fantastic.

  5. Here, take home is they might work as well as chewing a bit of grass you think will work.

Glucosamine and chondroitin — In our clinical practice, we do not recommend these supplements routinely to all patients; however, we do not discourage their use for patients who are keen to take them, especially if symptomatic benefit is achieved with their use (except for glucosamine hydrochloride, which we recommend against). There have been conflicting results from randomized trials evaluating the efficacy of glucosamine and chondroitin in knee OA [38]. Results from reviews with larger, methodologically sound studies found negligible effects of glucosamine hydrochloride on knee pain, while higher doses or higher-grade formulations of glucosamine sulfate (1500 mg/day) or chondroitin (800 mg/day) showed more favorable results and may have a statistically significant but small effect on symptoms compared with placebo [39-42]. As an example, in an industry-sponsored randomized trial including 604 patients with symptomatic knee OA who were followed for six months, pharmaceutical-grade chondroitin sulfate was found to be statistically superior to placebo and similar to celecoxib in reducing pain and improving function [42]. Either chondroitin (800 mg), celecoxib (200 mg), or placebo was given once daily in the evening. One important limitation of the study is the uncertain clinical relevance of the statistical significance for the primary outcomes, which were based on a degree of change from baseline on a visual analog scale (VAS) for pain (0 to 100 mm) and the Lequesne index (a composite score of pain and function). Also, the number of patients who achieved the minimal clinically important improvement of 20 mm on the VAS for pain was not different among the three groups. Other meta-analyses also suggested that glucosamine sulfate (1500 mg/day) and chondroitin (800 mg/day) may have small effects in delaying structural progression of OA with long-term use (two to three years) [43,44].

A strong placebo effect has been demonstrated in the studies involving these dietary supplements. This is well illustrated by the landmark Glucosamine/Chondroitin Intervention Trial (GAIT), in which around 60 percent of participants experienced at least 20 percent pain reduction irrespective of whether they received placebo, glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin, or the combination of both [45] (see "Overview of the management of osteoarthritis", section on 'Factors affecting response to therapy' and "Overview of the management of osteoarthritis", section on 'Role of placebo effect'). In another multicenter randomized noninferiority trial, 164 patients with moderate to severe knee OA were treated with either chondroitin sulfate plus glucosamine or placebo [46]. At six months' follow-up, the mean reduction in the global pain score was significantly greater in the placebo group (33 percent) compared with the chondroitin sulfate plus glucosamine group (19 percent). Limitations of the study include the small size and potentially inadequate dosing of chondroitin and glucosamine. However, it is of note that the risk of any adverse event with these supplements is low and comparable to placebo. Due to these contradictory and still uncertain data, glucosamine and chondroitin are not strongly recommended by major OA guidelines [3,5,47].

  7. At least there is no issue in Morocco of stadiums like Qatar.  Oh wait, looks like they will need to build infrastructure as well and there seems to be some issue with the bidding process on one of their proposed stadiums. Translated with google.

The call for tenders launched to build the big stadium of Oujda is at the heart of a controversy. While the winner has been appointed, architects denounce an " incompetent " jury and request a review of the records.

The large stadium will be built seven kilometers from the city of Oujda. With a capacity of more than 45,000 seats, the project aims to host international matches, and could even be selected among the sites listed in Morocco's application for the World in 2026. For its realization, the cabinet The Benhammou brothers' local architects were nominated by the Oriental region after a national public tender launched in May 2016.

This decision is challenged by other architects who were in the running. " The laureate was already chosen in advance and the jury is incompetent, " denounces Mourad Benmansour, architect of the group of French and Moroccan firms Nook and Beta. " I sent a letter last week to His Majesty, " he warns.

    A jury criticized

" We found that the members of the jury are civil servants of the region without any capacity of technical judgment for a project of this scale ", continues our interlocutor. A criticism shared by another candidate who preferred to remain anonymous. " The administrative architects make the correction of subdivision projects that are similar, they can not apprehend a project approved FIFA stadium ," he said. " In addition, there is no expert on FIFA standards, no fireman for fire and safety aspects, no one who understands how stadiums work in terms of vehicle flow management, and no expert on the environment.", says Mourad Benmansour. However, the presence of these experts, engineers or control offices is not mandatory and does not appear anywhere in the regulation.

" The jury has sought advice from a technical commission composed of experts and engineers, " replies Mohammed Berhili, one of the jury members, who is also an official architect representing the Oujda Urban Agency. According to another member of the jury, eleven persons delegated by the Ministry of Equipment and having judged the last stadium in Tetouan examined only five of the seventeen projects that were submitted. " The Oriental region did not allow them to review all the projects, but only a preselection, " says Mourad Benmansour.

In total, 17 groups of firms submitted their projects to the jury in July 2016. The stage to be built has a budget of 500 million dirhams, revised to 800 million dirhams according to documents provided to Telquel.ma by Mourad Benmansour . According to the specifications, the future enclosure is intended to comply with FIFA standards.

An architecture firm that does not have shoulders?

In February 2017, the group of firms of Mourad Benmansour receives a letter specifying that their project was not retained. The firm of architects Benhammou, based in Oujda, won the tender. " As a jury, we were surprised to see someone from the region having the first prize", confirms Mohamed Berhili, member of the jury. "He deserved it, and in all areas, be it functionality, architectural quality, creativity, or safety, it's a project that stands out for its design and the ideas itincorporates." he justifies himself, convinced.

The details of the project are not yet public. Contacted by Telquel.ma, the architectural firm Benhammou did not want to answer our questions without having received the official document from the Oriental region confirming his appointment.

" This small cabinet is composed of only two architects, as well as five or six designers. It is impossible to achieve such a project with such a small number, " Mourad Benmansour fumed. One of the members of the jury tells us, however, that the size of the firm has nothing to do with the quality of their performance.

" The winning project is an excellent project, it fulfills all the conditions, but I would have liked him to quote the agency with which he collaborated, " says our anonymous architect, suspecting the firm Benhammou to have taken advice from a foreign cabinet without naming it. " The problem is that they will only be architects signatories of a project, but they will not master all aspects of the project, such as design and financing," warns the Moroccan architect . According to him, many local firms use the advice of international firms in an unofficial way, a practice " unethical ""of the architectural profession according to Mourad Benmansour, whose grouping of firms is officially composed of French and Moroccan architects. It was also the case of the firm Sâd Benkirane who collaborated openly with Gregotti Associati International in the construction of stadiums. Marrakech, Agadir and Casablanca.

And of course the current crop of stadiums is rather pitiful.

    Doubt about Morocco’s stadiums

While nine Moroccan stadiums have been confirmed, the 2026 Cup will be the first with an expanded 48-team tournament, up from the current 32 teams, which will require the host countries to stretch their infrastructure to the maximum.

“The number of stadiums mentioned above remains insufficient for Morocco in its race to win the right to host the 2026 World Cup, compared with other countries,” Ayoub Rafik, a journalist specializing in sports, told Morocco World News.

Rafik pointed out that the powerful joint candidacy of United States, Canada and Mexico has listed a total of 49 stadiums which are currently ready and respect the FIFA’s criteria for hosting games at the 2026 World Cup.

He added that “Morocco, however, still has chance to win the race if the country elaborates and works on its image through marketing, as it enjoys a geo-strategic position as a gateway to Europe, besides other factors such as its time zone.”

“Morocco should convince the voters through marketing strategies,” stressed Rafik.

However, he speculated that, in case Morocco’s request to host the Cup is rejected, the authorities will likely neglect the construction of the previous stadiums’ projects, giving the example of stadiums planned for Morocco’s previous candidacies in 2006 and 2010, which were not executed.

Going to suck when we lose the bid again to a piece of shit country.

So, our season is basically over now. With 7 games to go it would be a miracle to overcome the 8 point deficit. A top 4 less season without a CL title would only be a failure to a club like Chelsea. Our season is a complete mess in nearly every aspect, from the management to the pitch performance. Although people may argue that this is Conte's fault and I do agree he needs to be responsible for certain performance, looking at the picture in a macro way we can see the bigger issue is our board (and Roman).

Tbh this is not the first time since Roman era we have a terrible and forgettable season right after a successful one. Actually, besides 2005-2006 season, we dont really have a good or respectful season after a title victory year. 2007-08 season we have the 'omelette theory'from Jose Mourinho. To 2010-11 season we panic buy Torres and Luiz in the winter window because of a terrible first half season. To 2015-16 complete collaspe and this year the 2017-18 season, we can see a similar pattern from our board (or our transfer policy) is our failure to build on recent success.

In 2007-08 season, after 2 league titles in 3 years and 6 different trophies in 3 years, we only bought Malouda with 15m at summer, with several garbages like Sidwell, Ben-Haim, Pizarro and Borini as reinforment. This leads to the 'omelette theory' from Jose and his departure from the club. We lost the league in a and CL and had a trophyless season.

In 2010-11 season, after we won the double in previous year. We only bought Ramires as our reinforcement and at 5th Jan 2011 we are 5th at the table and then we panic buy Torres and Luiz to hope to save our season and top4 finish. Although we successfully did that and secure top4, this is another trophyless season.

2015-16, after winning 2 titles in the previous year, we bought Baba Rahman (who still cant play any games despite this is our 3rd manager since his arrival), and pedro (who were bought at 20th of Aug after our slow start of the season) and our legend Papy Djilobodji and Hector when Jose is crying out for a better center back. We also only loan in Falcao who was completely useless as a player and we have a disaster season.

This year, after a title winning season from last year, we once again panic buy at the last second of the transfer window and completely disregard the need of gelling the squad with more training time. We also spend less than clubs like Watford and Huddersfield in NET TRANSFER (we knew Costa is leaving 100% at the moment). We also panic buys some very average players like DrinkWater and ZappaCosta. We play cheap on Lukaku who already scored 26 goals this season for United and purchase a potential flop Morata, who clearly doesnt suit our playstyle for 10+ years, who scores 13 goals only this season despite being our main striker option.

From all those history I just wanna state that our board needs to be responsible for the club current status. Our club inability to build on recent success, being cheap at the transfer window and treating managers like toilet paper is the biggest reason why we are at this situation. In addition, the board is extremely irresponsible to the Chelsea fans with their transfer policies. I understand we have a stadium need to build, I understand we cannot outbid clubs like PSG, but does it mean we can spend less than clubs like WATFORD?

Even Arsenal at banter era Arsene Wenger had the balls to say 'we cannot compete with other clubs NOW, because of our stadium loans. We hope the fans can understand that.' But Chelsea board just treat us like idiots. On one hand they claim they want to win titles for every year (and also had that expectations on the managers), but their transfer policies and input is completely unacceptable as a big club and a club with ambition. How can we expect world class players like Hazard, Courtois, Kante to trust an useless, irresposnbile board like ours to build a team that can compete year in year out? I believe we need a major revamp in our board and more input from Roman to the transfer and put more people with proper football knowledge and understand the expectations from the fans in the board and expell people who only care about money like Marina.

TL;DR: our board is the main reason we are having the same disaster season over and over again after a good season, and something needs to be changed and it start from Roman and our board members.

  9. Apparently CFC has gone into shut down mode in regards to information. This includes their often used mouth piece Matt Law.

Just because you haven't been linked doesn't mean you're not looking. Chelsea virtually in shut down right now re information

No clue what's going on, but assuming that Conte is out sooner than later and we are currently working on replacing him.

I feel this quote is useful right now in regards to the status of CFC.

"Omelettes, eggs. No eggs, no omelettes. And it depends on the quality of the eggs in the supermarket. They are class one, two or three and some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes. When the class one eggs are not available you have a problem."
