It's conspiracy to defraud whoever he was placing bets with - as well as other bettors I guess.

In the US, it's also either

    a) a state has no legalized gambling so any bet would be illegal there

    b) a state with legalized gambling has the law written that you can't bet on yourself

Agree, though I oddly had a great experience in Fayetteville this past fall.  Wife (TN) grad and son wanted to go to the Arky/Vol game.  I was wearing Longhorn attire and didn't have a single negative interaction during the three hours before the game on and around campus.

If they had spring games in the 80s and 90s and they count them like 2006, they can add 5 more 11 wins seasons to that list.

Sheraton AA i assumed was Ann Arbor

This is correct. I only do alcoholics anonymous in Austin. I think @immamac was asking if my Thursday night was in Detroit. lol.

Nope. All nights at Sheraton Ann Arbor.

You should have gone to Michigan Ohio state and skipped aggy haha.

Ann Arbor isn't a small town, it's a full blown city so you can get on Google or yelp or whatever and find stuff. For gameday specifically you should find a tailgate to pay for and just do that. Generally mgoblog has one and there's one from an alumni association or something.

You want to stay on the south and west side of the stadium mainly on game day. South you can check out the golf course tailgates and west is all the student parties and lots of other tailgates.

Stadium and main is where all the action is and its a cool approach into the stadium.

North on main you get to downtown after a good walk, it's not really worth doing on gameday, I would go do that the night before. Zingermans is the regional place that you should eat one meal at. Bread is their thing, so get a bread dish of some kind their sourdough is incredible.

Ann Arbor is a lot of fun and so is Detroit. I would go in Thursday or stay over Sunday there and check out greektown, belle isle, the people mover, Detroit tigers stadium, the Caesars arena. All cool and there's eminems spaghetti restaurant called moms spaghetti.

    Two things

    a) I'm not going to two Ohio St games in one regular season, and I'll be in Columbus Aug 30...

    b) I'm not missing an aggy beat down in Austin

Thanks for the other advice. I'm at the Sheraton AA so I'll check it on maps with what you say above. Also, I've already taken your advice as I'm arriving Thursday!

  6. Far too lazy to do the research now, but I want opponents in order who we

    • haven't played and are not G5 like FSU
    • haven't played in a long time like Air Force
    • have a losing all-time record against like V Tech
    • have a .500 all-time record against like Miami

Requirement: Must still field a FBS team with the except of Harvard cuz fuck Harvard

What are you looking for? Also, there’s an old thread in Food & Travel with people bouncing options around last seasons game.

Figured some of y'all went last year and had reports of the good and the bad on places to visit in AA. That thread sounds perfect, so I'll check that out.

Which game, and what for? I have season tickets to the Big House and we go at least once a year sometimes twice.

Washington and mainly to see a game there. Sorry I missed Texas there in '24. Which game(s) are you planning to attend?

I had a solid meal and some decent beer at HOMES Brewery there this spring. It's about two and a half miles northwest of the stadium. Other than that, I got nothin' and know nothin' about Ann Arbor, but from the map below, it's clear you can also find a Salvation Army Store and some laser hair removal.

If I have too many drinks, I'll hit up the laser hair removal place.
