57 year old black male. Convicted felon. Indicted for aggravated assault the day before he murdered Jeff. Out on bond.
Perp has lived all over the country. I just ran his Harris County records. Plenty of hits.
Disgusting. I'll post his name once he is arrested.
Where are you seeing this? He had a felony forgery conviction in the 1990s, and then nothing until the family violence charge 2 months ago. Not much of a rap sheet honestly.

As far as the trailer goes - interesting that they chose El Reno as a location being that that's the place where actual storm chasers died.
Uh, that’s pretty clearly an homage to them and the movie is partly inspired by that 2013 storm.

any surly opinions on this one yet?
i hate the title.
83% on RT but i feel like that can't be trusted anymore.
RT is the only site you can trust. It has both critic & audience scores

Wait…let me get this straight. Criminals don’t follow gun laws?
12 hours ago, rage-a-holic said:- All beaches are public in Mexico. These guys were camping/surfing on a remote beach, but it was not private property. There's a dirt road that goes right to it.
- The shitbags who killed them were part of a known group of thieves who just wanted their tires
- Those shitbags used illegal guns to murder the surfers. For some reason, those shitbags ignored Mexican law. The surfers, who obeyed Mexican law and didn't carry illegal guns, were unable to defend themselves.
Clearly the answer is to abolish all laws, since criminals don’t follow them anyway.

Not that it's any of your business, but I follow both teams dipshit. I have been living in or around Houston for about 25 years now, so I adopted those teams over time.
Thats a long way of saying “I’m a bandwagoner”. I like & support exactly 1 MLB team, and have supported them all my life since I became a baseball fan.
And let me spell out what I meant with my original comment, because no offense but I don’t think you’re intelligent enough to get it… The Pirates are calling up Skenes because he can help them win now. The Astros NEVER did that with their prospects. They tanked and tanked and let players that could’ve helped languish in the minors so the MLB team could keep losing and climb up the draft boards, where ubergenius and baseball God Jeff Luhnow used his super ultra advanced baseball analytics acumen to draft future MLB stars Mark Appel & Brady Aiken 1st overall.

2003 Eric Gagne. And as with all non-Rivera closers, he completely fell off the wagon soon after

Yeah that’s going to be a hit, already getting some pretty intense buzz. Looks like a perfect summer movie

Thanks for the update...was really wishing Stantons 119mph homer hit you in the forehead.
Typing this as Bregman softly lines out to Torres to end the inning

Why are the Pirates calling up Skenes now?
too late for ROY draft pick consideration . Too early for Super 2, no?
There’s that whole “he can help us win baseball games” thing. But I know as an Astros fan you aren’t used to viewing prospects like that

He runs a 10.8 100 meter dash. He had 7 TDs in 6A as a freshman. He's been offered by a ton of schools.
Yeah so he meets my criteria then. I was just saying in general those are the rules I’d follow

Imo it’s dumb to offer any freshman that isn’t of a freakish size, a track star, or has already made an impact at the varsity level.
-
I’ve never heard a broadcast crew say that a 10-1 deficit was purely due to bad luck, but the Astros crew was certainly saying that tonight. Stanton was just lucky his 119 mph line drive cleared the fence.

Astros announcers are massive vaginas. Crying that about a clear ball on judge being called a ball.

They’ll find the responsible parties. Hell, the cartels may find them and take care of them themselves. Nobody wants this kind of press there. They need the tourist $$.
They’ve already been arrested. Doesn’t sound like it’s cartel related, looks like it was a group of 3 possibly part of a gang that had been going around carjacking people in the area recently. Some of the locals are upset because they say they’ve complained about this gang before yet the police never did anything about them until this happened.

If you had the chance to walk to your car, then you were no longer threatened?
I agree. I don’t know if the law sees it that way though.

Previous sentence was poorly written but context seems like the shooter was the one screaming
I read it as bitchass customer was screaming at workers, Limmer starts cussing at bitchass customer. If true, not a great idea. Still noble to divert anger away from workers though.

Apparently the two actually went outside and the altercation turned physical, then the agitator went to his car and got a gun. In Texas it does not matter how or who starts a fight, if you feel threatened you can respond with force if it’s reasonable. A fight with a stranger could constitute fear for life, will be interesting to see how it plays out.

The Cavazos stuff is besides the point. I noticed first hand how Kellen Mond’s throwing mechanics didn’t improve. JJ McCarthy also still came out of there with a wonky throwing motion.

I know you've got your vato blinders on, but Cavazos was a headcase with a headcase for a father who was overrated coming out of HS, and his ranking wasn't even that fucking high to begin with...well within the normal bust rate for low 4 star kids. I'm pretty sure Texas didn't even offer the kid, and no one regionally pushed hard for the kid except A&M, which is why he was happy to jump on an Ohio State. He spent 3 years at IMG and sucked in college becuase he fucking sucks.
I’m well on record about Cavazos and know his story better than anyone. His dad Carlos actually impressively conned his way into being Nebraska’s Director of Football Ops, where he was fired after one season last year. Lejond was his youngest kid, he moved his other kids to high schools all over the state because he kept pissing off coaching staffs. Lejond was the best out of all of them and a legit track star, he just couldn’t get out of his own way.
Tldr; IMG is overrated and if you suck or you’re a shithead it won’t help you. There’s a reason they don’t make their full roster available online, so their bust rate is hard to track.

I get wanting to stay home. Good for him. But he told IMG at one point he was coming and then pulled the rug out. He’s 16-17 years old, so it’s a very forgivable offense.
But he should want access to IMG’s facilities, nutrition, and sports medicine programs to prepare for his football career.
Was IMG going to let him play baseball too? If not that’d be basically slamming the door shut entirely on one lucrative career option.
I’m pretty jaded on IMG after watching Kellen Mond. I saw him play a bit at San Antonio Reagan before he left to IMG for his senior year. Was pretty shocked to see him again as a freshman at A&M with the exact same weird fucked up throwing motion he had at Reagan coupled with the same panicky pocket presence. Made me wonder if they even taught him anything new. Same with Lejond Cavazos, he spent 3 years at IMG and has sucked in college and is currently looking for his 3rd school.

BJJ is exceptional for confidence building. It gives people that would stand no chance in any real fight belief that they could hold their own.
