How do they not overturn that

That side view it looked like his foot touched the bag right as his hand was coming off. It was close. Honestly an insanely impressive slide.

The hat is terrible.  I don't hate the jersey, though I would have gone with something other than NYC on it (Queens?).

I still think Boston, Seattle, Atlanta, and Miami have the best CC uniforms.

Trolling? You literally listed the worst city connect unis in order. No one can touch the White Sox.

It’s funny to see the pathetic Mets try to claim all of NYC though.

Pretty sure I meant what I said, but you didn't know what you said.

    gerund or present participle: inferring

definition: deducing or concluding (information) from evidence and reasoning rather than from explicit statements.

Gerry was inferring Bakich is the replacement baseball coach he would get without giving us his reasons nor saying the name, "Bakich." He just keeps saying, "Don't sleep on the Clemson guy. / I'd be wanting the Clemson guy. /etc."

You are inferring that Gerry is implying that it’s Bakich. Did you ever attend the 9th grade?

I am taking bets right now for anyone who wants to have a go of it regarding Shedeur Sanders going in the top 3. Name your wager and I’ll take the other side.

Fwiw, the 2025 QB draft class is as bad a class as you will ever see. It’s Ewers, Carson Beck (lol), and Shedeur as the only not garbage prospects.

The win snaps a 48-game losing streak for the UTRGV (18-15) against Texas (22-16). The last time UTRGV beat Texas was in the 1971 NCAA District Championships, winning game one 1-0 and game two 4-0.

This is UTRGV's second-ever true road win against Texas, and first since May 30, 1968, a 2-1, 10-inning victory in game two of the NCAA District Championships. UTRGV had lost 44-straight road games against Texas since then, including its first 39 games at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.

The 17 runs are the most ever scored by UTRGV against Texas. The previous record was 12, set on May 27, 1973.

This is UTRGV's largest-ever margin of victory over Texas, with the previous record being four on May 22, 1971.

That was a really strange feeling, being at a Texas game and not rooting for the ‘Horns.

The boy did his job. He went 0-1 with 2RBI. He was 3 of the HBP and 2 of the BB. I thought that Jalin got him at 2nd early on. Guess the replay wasn’t conclusive. He’s a patient batter and a tough kid. I could have done without the chest beating after one of the walks, but whatever. He was excited to help his team in his first start ever. He is fast, would probably be one of the fastest guys on Texas’ team too.

We ended up with his club coaches in the stands along with a lot of friends and family.

That has to do it for Pierce. So maybe in the strangest most backward way ever, he will help Texas after all?

The chest-beating was after he took a pitch off his ankle/foot actually. It was dumb in a funny way, don’t think I’ve ever seen a player act like that after a HBP.  But I mean I’d be pretty pumped too to get on base in my first college game. Seemed to be tracking fly balls well out in center too.

    HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!

Get a fucking grip on reality here, dipshits. Jesus titty fucking Christ.

It’s not as far fetched as you think. He’s made Sinton in to even more of a force then they were, and he’s developed a few MLB caliber prospects since he took over. And most of them aren’t from Sinton either. Some say they moved there just to be coached by him, but if not then that means he’s got decent recruiting experience as well.

  9. No sarcasm, that was maybe the most all-around poorly played baseball game I have ever seen beyond little league. But I’m proud to see the vaqueros pull it off. I can remember Rodriguez in particular being a star when he was pitching in high school in the RGV, it was cool to see him dealing tonight.

    Blast from the past

He’s half-hispanic, originally from the RGV, and I still have pretty much always rooted for him to fail. That’s how big of a shithead he (and his dad) are.

He attended Steele HS as a freshman then transferred out. I still remember him & his dad taking to Twitter to talk shit at Caden Sterns and the Steele coach after they lost a game the next season.
