    Unless these are your personal rankings, swap Pinex and McCarthy. McCarthy is largely expected to go top 10. Penix is end of 1st/early 2nd.

    they are not they are the rankings (not where they will go) from the link.

  2. Thought this kid had some good takes.

    tl;dw:

    1. Wrexham currently have about a "mid table" League 1 roster;

    2. There's more money going from League 2 to League 1 but it's only several hundred thousand compared to the millions going from League 1 to the Championship

    3. There are a lot of big clubs in League 1 so competition for talent will be more intense at this level.

    4. He thinks with a few good signings they could compete for the playoff - he's not optimistic about auto-promotion in the first year since this is a bigger "jump"

  3. quick aside - it looks more and more like Meadows sang like a canary:

    Just a little Badd thinking. No matter what info is therein one thing that Trump has always cried about is Crossfire Hurricane. Whether it was Raw Human Intel, whether it was the real deal or just one report in a sea of reports, it is The one thing that Trump fears the most for some odd Russian reason. It scared him so much that he spent 4 years talking about it, crying about it, and trying to call it a Left-Wing Conspiracy, a Witch Hunt, a Hoax, his favorite go-tos. He sent his 'Acting' picks to scour our Intelligence Community, you know the clowns, Patel, Wolfe, Grinnell, Miller, and so on to find that case file, they searched high and low, and in the meantime, they brought Trump boatloads of Documents from everywhere, a truckload worth to be exact, not to mention the late night drives with stuff from the White House to Mar a Lago. Meadows Office was the depository but they never found them until the very end. As Trump was about to leave Office, word is he sent Meadows to the Department of Justice to get those files, even 'Declassified' them to try to force the DoJ to give them up, I believe that was the 10" binder he got. Whether this was the real deal or just a prop, we won't know until it's over but this I can say, Trump fought with the FBI and the Archives to return everything he took but he decided to hold them hostage, and what the hell was his excuse, 'I will return them if I get the Crossfire Hurricane investigation' which should come across as odd because supposedly, Meadows got it for him so that leads me to believe he was Not happy with what he got. He didn't find what he was looking for IMO, and so the circus began. All that being said, the question becomes, when did Meadows start cooperating with the FBI. Well, someone told the FBI where to look at Mar a Lago, and let me tell you, that is a pretty short list, especially when you throw in a Safe! By the way, the contents of that safe is devastating to Trump

    Could this remedy not have been submitted along with the objection, instead of waiting for another hearing?  And maybe addressed by Trump co outside of court?

    it was Trump's attorneys who made the suggested remedy. I think it was on them to make it work. Also I think that the original bond was designed so that Trump could find a way to get out of paying it but it didn't work.

    I may be taking the "L" for this comment down the road -- just really surprised that JJ McCarthy is now likely going in Top 6 picks.

    you're not alone. the big risk for JJ is that he simply doesn't have enough tape to show what his weaknesses are and I think he's getting the benefit of the doubt as a result.

    and the whole "BUT HE'S A WINNER" is total malarkey. he played for a HS power in Illinois that just finished winning back to back state titles without him and his senior year was at IMG.

    Then he played on one of the most talented Michigan teams ever.

    He didn't win all those games because he was a differentiator - he was driving a Ferrari and didn't wreck it.

    ETA - Daniel Jeremiah has been saying how "teams are higher on JJ than the public" but he's changed that take to say that NFL coaches aren't nearly as high on him as scouts. In fact, coaches like Penix as QB2 ahead of everyone else but williams.

  6. the bond hearing is also going on. Here's where they are right now - meeting to see if they can reach a "settlement of sorts" on ensuring the bond collateral is kept in cash:
