This offense was MUCH worse than the Florida game. At least we moved the ball in that game. We have scored only 1 offensive touchdown in each of the last 2 games. Arch is atrocious. If Sark won’t bench him then he sucks too.
Sark sucks whether he benches him or not.

My take on what I am seeing. After watching the last two years in the playoffs with plenty of talent but with holes, I think we had good enough teams to win it all but lacked quality coaching like we have seen at other schools. This year is a mess and the most accountable is Sark. I really do not think Sark is the answer for UT but considering the UT mode of accepting reality and making change it isn’t going to happen quick and probably shouldn’t. BUT…I guarantee Sark will never be the Texas football coach in 2031 as contracted. No way. Just my opinion after watching this fiasco tonight.

God sark sucks in the redzone
Agree Sark does suck in the red zone, but we had the play, we had the td, just had ole sleepy at qb.

Arch just doesn't see the field at all, not sure if that can ever change. He's essentially a one read QB three years into the system.
But…..You have to admit he was a great 7on7 Qb with everyone in shorts.

Can’t get a simple thought out of my mind after this game. Sark, just what in the hell did we do in this off season

I get tired of this Sark vanilla offense week after week after week . All this slow ball keeps teams in the game and keeps young players from getting to play

Our O line run blocking pretty weak so far today

Only two serious questions: 1. On fourth and goal at the one, if the QB comes to the line and there are two men on the center, is the QB supposed to check out of the sneak or not? Had he done that and run right, I think he could have gotten into the end zone. Whole different ballgame.
2. Arch looked so uncomfortable in the first half, it kind of reminded me of Vince his 1st year, true freshman year, I think.
Is this a case of first game of season jitters or does the coaching staff need to "Let Arch be Arch", just like our QB problems were solved 20-21 years ago by "Let Vince be Vince"?
And of course like everybody else I am sick of the opposing team being so perfect that they have 0 yards of penalties through 3 quarters, and like somebody said, "here's the obligatory holding call after the game is done" thing to make the yardage look close.
The bright side is we have a kick ass defense and a kick ass punter. Easily best punter since Dickson, and since I consider myself an expert on the best Texas D ever, the 1983 D, I would say this D is right up there. If this Texas D had stopped OhioState on fourth down, it could easily be considered top 3 best D ever, up there with the 1981 and 1983 D, assuming this D continues to play this well throughout the season.
Without seeing other teams play, my guess is one loss, maybe two more, and a top 12 rating
Please no Vince comparisons yet.

I rarely post, but this thread has really caught my interest with the sincerity but diverse opinions or beliefs. Troph made an interesting statement…your soul really is just being human. In discussions like this one thing rarely mentioned is the soul. Really the belief in soul as defining who you really are separates physical man from spiritual man. Richard Rohr (Catholic Franciscan Priest) discusses this better. “When we move to the level of soul, the externals are not as defining; roles, titles, costumes, age, and race are no longer the most important questions. Soul recognizes soul, and a mentor presents their own soul unapologetically: “I am what I am, warts and all. I’ve got some faults, but I know I’ve got some gifts too.”
You don’t have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body.

Got to give this team all the credit and respect … and White. They came to OKC to play… got focused. Another championship series. Let’s go get it… Now need Tech-OU to play 16 innings.

All of us can agree that losing Vivi left a huge whole in this team’s offense and defense that we were not prepared to fill. To me though the crucial fault of this team has been the pitching staff. The longer the season progressed the mediocre pitching staff was exposed. White seemed to be sold that TK was a program solid #1. The reality is that we currently do not have a solid #1 or #2 pitcher. TK is and could be an efficient #2. We currently do not have a #1 season strong pitcher on this staff. We will continue be a better than mediocre team but not elite team until we can acquire an elite #1 pitcher. In today’s softball universe that quality pitcher is pretty rare and they can be demanding. If we want elite pitching we are going to have to pay for it. If we refuse or can’t bring the cash we will remain mediocre.

1. My main argument is this—how am I supposed to believe this is a religion that shares all of these stories and fables yet the church is one of the most hateful groups I’ve ever seen?
2. And isn’t judgment of others itself a sin?
3. And I thought there were no degrees of sin, so why does 1 sin outweigh another?
4. Doesn’t your hated of a certain group of people constitute sin and you should be judged as well?No one can answer these for me so I I haven’t been back.
I can’t answer them for you and I am not trying to. Maybe you and I do share some thoughts.
1. There are certainly wicked people in church, but also very good people (like your mom and dad and my mom and dad).
2. Yes, according to the teaching of Jesus and others.
3. I think we agree again. Sin is sin. And, don’t forget real grace, not the grace for me but no grace for you crowd.
4. Hatred is bad in any context I believe.

BREYA CUNNINGHAM IS A LONGHORN
Do you think Vic is looking at her as a pf or center? She has played both.

I don’t understand why Richard Pitino isn’t getting any attention this year at all. I’ve watched how he has recruited and what he has done with New Mexico. He can flat out coach. He has taken a bottom dweller program and put them in the dance the last two years…goodbye Shaka. I’m not saying we should even consider him at Texas, but he should start being on some short lists for schools looking for a team builder.

Good run for us. In SEC if we tend to business and win series we will be fine.

Vic is great at getting his bunch to play tough down the stretch. Mark of a great coach
