you're right, it's not an either/or, but i'm firmly on the side of "show me you deserve better seats before you demand them", and i felt like last night's game was THE opportunity for UT students to show that giving them the best seats is something they deserve, and as you can see, i am highly disappointed that that didn't happen.

What have the blue haired blue bloods with the good seats the last 40 years shown you?  I can just feel your excitement on who wins this student/stiff necks fan fest. Keep us informed periodically how this battle is progressing.

This just proves that these guys were gettable last year and UT just wasn’t serious enough to make it happen.

Lincoln was never going to LSU or Texas.  Did you really want Kelly?

According to CDC himself, they all wanted the guy we got.

But more to the point, I would hope the next AD has the fortitude to say “I recognize the importance of gathering feedback from all stakeholders, but ultimately I will need the authority to make what is ultimately the most important task this job requires: choosing a head football coach.”

If the powers that be say “sorry bubba, that decision is totally out of your hands” then we hired the wrong guy if he takes the job anyways.

What?  Get real.  The powers just say thanks for your interest in this job and hire someone else who agrees to let them run the football program.  Real life…

  4. Reading about this family and holiday strife really makes me sorrowful for those and thankful that holidays have always been fun times for our family.  My brothers’ and my families still enjoy getting together for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We always reminisce about how our parents managed to make everyone feel welcome and loved while they were alive.

It makes me somewhat fearful thinking about how I will accept and manage my family’s issues as they mature and move on.

The play calling does look great in the first half. If his Oline is great, he’d look great. But to this point, he’s been awful at creating plays to either get firsts or create short yardage situations. Either that or Casey simply overlooks the underneath guys. Not every play action needs to be a 20 yard throw.

OSUs FB/HB/TE or whatever he is had 2 catches for 30. Easy designs, easy throws. That’s two first downs we could have used that changes field position at a minimum. RoJo to the flat out of two back. TEs to the flat, drag routes off play action. Taking 5-7 yards would make a huge difference.

Between RoJo, the TEs and Keilan, we had 5 touches. That needs to double at least. If that happens, Bijan still gets his 20-25 because we’re running more plays. And remember we don’t use a QB run game either.

Sark is calling plays like he has his ultimate lineup out there. It is a large detriment to the Oline because defenses are just attacking full throttle.

It’s kind of amazing to see so many awesome plays then such sorry plays all in the same game. Two games in row.

Go back and watch the tape.  Casey missed reads really the whole game but especially on third down plays the entire second half.  We desperately need to get our ends involved.  Looks to me as some of this is due to QB reads but a major part is with our  offensive schemes.

In Smart’s first year at UGA, he lost to Vandy, Tenn, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and barely beat Nicholls State to go 7-5 regular season. I’m not saying Sark is gonna be Smart, but I’m certainly gonna give him more than half a year before I call for his head.

Yep. Bret  Bielema was 12-1 his first year at Wisky.  If we could only hire someone like that.
