  1. I've still got my Gantt charts from last year, so I just need to see if there are any menu changes being requested.
  2. Yep, the card member "status" got me onto another phone queue to re-book overnight, versus having to wait at the airport. Ruined a night's sleep, but I'd rather do that than stand in that line 10 times out of 10.
  3. I almost got caught in this. Southwest Florida for a week, notified the night before my return flight that my RSW-DAL was cancelled and we would be re-booked from Saturday at Noon to Monday at 8PM. Fuck that. Spent a good portion of my night on hold, but got a direct flight out of MIA with plenty of time to drive over. We lucked out, but the line for re-booking assistance at MIA stretched for three gates.
  4. Uh, you're talking about the only WR recruit currently committed to OU in the '22 class. If the other three had stayed, this wouldn't be happening.
  5. What about this but with a piece of cornbread instead of the tortillas?
  6. Coke at the movies, or at any low-end Mexican restaurant or pizza place. Nothing like some cheap pepperoni washed down with a coke in a huge clear plastic cup. I've essentially quit soda, but those are the times I really miss it.
  7. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but Sarah Sherman performs as Sarah Squirm and is into live-action Ren and Stimpy levels of gross bodily comedy and overacting. No idea how or if they'll incorporate any of that into the show, but it would be WILD if they did. Like people turning off the TV and writing actual, physical letters, wild.
  8. The fries exist to funnel honey mustard. If they're crispy, salted well, and hot? That's just a bonus.
  9. I thought Morris was confirmed as fine and participating, despite the rumors. Maybe that was just wishful reporting?
  10. It was such a straightforward noir story that I thought I had missed something. It wasn't enough sci-fi to be exciting, nor enough of a departure from the tropes of noir to be exciting.
  11. Still, if the goal is to get to an Alabama and Ohio State level, you've got to convince 5-star guys that it's not a big deal to get in and compete with other 5-star guys. Not sure how you sell that outside of Tuscaloosa, but that's the target.
  12. "On my mother, I don't play!" on his way to the bus or whatever. That's the most high-pitched shit talk I've ever heard out of someone who just won a fight.
  13. That's really funny, I didn't know that had been moved. That was always the joke. "How do you get from Norman to Stillwater? Drive north until you smell it, then east until you step in it."
  14. I'd assume the best other use would be a KFC bowl.
  15. Ll Ga Brak, indeed, my son! It's my favorite Welsh drinking song.
  16. I'm supposed to be on one in November. Thanks for your QA efforts.
  17. My daughter didn't even believe these ever existed. I think my wife felt the same way.
  18. I'm also wondering how I-20 gets you into Arkansas...
  19. There's some debate about when each team started using the signs. There are reports of seeing it during Wilkinson's era, with ND adopting it in the 60s, but who the hell knows. Each one thinks they're the first.
  20. And this. Also Urban Chestnut if you're closer to the Hill/Midtown/The Grove.
  21. Depending on what you're in the mood for, there are good options a few different places. Gitto's is good, and the neighborhood is fun to tool around in. Pi Pizzeria or Dewey's are good pizza, not traditional St. Louis style (which isn't good, generally). Pastaria is tasty, fun, and you can sit at the kitchen bar if you like watching people cook. Broadway Oyster Bar if you want to get drinks close to the Arch and have some chargrilled oysters before dinner. Brasserie by Niche for French cafe.
  22. The only time I went to Seattle, we did Whidbey and Deception Pass was beautiful. We spent almost an entire day down by the water, even though we hadn't planned a lunch or anything. On the way to Leavenworth, we stopped and hiked one of the waterfall hikes which wasn't too intense, even though it was pretty vertical. Great views and a nicely maintained trail. Leavenworth was great for sausages and beer, but I'm not much of a shopper for the style of stuff they sell. If someone is decorating a cabin with Alpine stuff, that's going to be your whole day. At least take a half-day and walk around and eat lunch.
  23. Eddie is a good Twitter follow, too, if you want someone who covers Oklahoma and OSU stuff that doesn't take it all too seriously.
  24. If he still doesn't want to play LB, then OSU is a good fit, it seems.
  25. At one point, the story was that he just re-used butcher paper from previous rests/wraps. Functionally the same thing, right?
