Yeah I’ll watch that.

I like the made in America part of the story. That's about it. I guess it could be a teen driver first car, but my kids are too cool to drive that dork mobile.

I really enjoyed it. I don't want to say anything about the plot, other than it is great. If you have a great TV like an OLED then you will really appreciate the colors.
It popped up on my prime feed. The trailer said " from the makers of Late Night with the Devil" , which was very good....
Oh yeah, the Marlin is in a lot of scenes. It's my favorite looking gun.

Rode my Stars&Stripes cruiser over to the stadium right about 11:00. What a joke. Some of the online notifications said “massive” “thousands” even “10s of thousands”
Traffic around the stadium was very light. They had a big MAGA bus in the corner of a parking lot. There were tens of people in the parking lot. Shot ‘em the bird as I rode by. I counted over 40 cop cars as I circled around the area, outnumbering the number of protesters I saw.
Maybe things will pick up later.
Why?

HELP PLEASE!
Am I about to get scammed? I stumbled upon this service: https://alcoholfreelifestyle.com/
They have a great advertising campaign that really sucked me in. I don't normally watch tiktok or reels, but someone in my FFL group chat sent me a link to something funny. Then I scrolled through the typical bikini chicks and construction stuff that it thinks I will like.
Then this well crafted video/reels add comes up, and it was just really speaking to me with all of the words and thoughts that describe my drinking and my drinking problems. I filled out a form with personal information (name, address, drinking questions, and my salary range). That led to a 20 minute intro phone call today. It is a kind of interview to see if I am a good fit for their services and vice versa. I wound up sharing personal information about my life and my drinking like I would in an AA meeting. The service is some sort of "executive coaching" that has a 90 day curriculum for quitting drinking completely or possibly controlling it. Next up, I have a 45 minute call scheduled for Monday to learn more and I'm sure that's when they will try to sell me their services. I am definitely interested in this type of service, and I'm willing to pay for it. The lady on the call today Chelsie Jamison explained that is mainly online and zoom accountability meetings. She said there is a network and a community. They had some sort of retreat for spring break where a bunch of their clients went somewhere nice; I don't remember where she said they went.
Then it just struck me tonight that this would be a great way to steal someone's identity. They already know a lot about my personal life, but soon they could know a lot more about my finances and probably my billing information and CC number. I haven't looked into any HIIPA compliance with them yet either. This has me worried.
Has anyone had experience with these folks? Are they legit?
Just a little background, I went to rehab for 30 days back in October and I have been trying AA since then. I'm doing a lot better, but AA just doesn't feel like "IT" for me. I don't mind getting "sold" on a service if they are a good provider, but I now see it could be a very effective scam.
Please let me know if anyone has experience with these guys. I have a couple of names from emails they have sent me: Scott Fury, Chelsea Jamison, James Swanwick.
Thank you!

I guess we fell on hard times when I was 5 or 6. We moved from a nice house to a trailer house on some land with a horse barn. We were in charge of taking care of the horses and we had our own horse too. His name was Spot. My brother and I had a lot of fun on that land and with the horses. There was another trailer on the property that had kids our age to play with and get all kinds of country.
The poor part I remember was having to burn our trash. It was kind of fun too.
About a year later, my dad got a job as manager of the Thunderbird Lodge in Abilene. We moved into the "penthouse" to live there for a year. That was super fun too. We didn't have a full kitchen in the penthouse, so we ate every meal in the hotel restaurant.
A year later we moved into a nice house in the good school district (Wylie) and lived there the rest of growing up. Business got better and we weren't poor anymore.

Yeah, upon further reflection I think a can of sardines in the front vent or some jolly ranchers stuck to the windshield are better options. If one must go for the paint, polka dotting the hood and doors with Barbasol works well, as I found out the day after my wedding.
What happens with jolly rancher on the windshield?

45-70 was definitely considered. We went with the 16” in 357 mag because I already have a pistol and a bunch of ammo in 357 mag and 38 special.
I might get another Marlin in 45-70 19” someday too. Just ‘cause I want one.
My son bought dummy rounds to cycle through the lever action. It’s hellafun.
