I don't know if they'll git rid of him or not, but I agree that they are going to fucking pull out every stop known to humankind to keep his ass.  Being caught in closet with only one little boy won't be enough - he's gonna have to tally three at least.

You can tell that they are digging in for an all-out fortified defense.  They will have a minimum standard of 4 mass murder victims to pry him loose.

Can't say I'd be happy about it, but part of me relishes the season-long absolute skullfucking of that entire institution and its circle the wagons weak, lame, bullshit, pathetic response to try and pull the wedgie out of their asscrack and foist some bullshit fake dignity (that Law-yer-o-gram put out the other day is a hilarious if not fucked up head start.

But he survives (a la suspension or some shit), while Ohio State "takes the lead" and starts some bullshit high-profile battered womens' fund or something to cover their evil.  Any network that broadcasts that PSB bullshit deserves to get mass electrocuted.

And how effective will they be at countering each ace up the sleeve that McMuprhy still has that he has yet to reveal?

  2. August 5, 1305.  William Wallace the great patriot of Scotland was captured in Robroyston, just outside of Glasgow (I've been there and the place felt very solemn to me (besides the fact I had no where to go pee)

On this day in history, 1305...
    William Wallace at Robroyston
An image drawn for a campaign to save Wallace's Well, Robroyston, from being destroyed by housing developers. The medieval well at Robroyston is believed to have been used by Wallace in his final days of freedom as he was captured nearby. William Wallace was seized in the house of Ralph Rae by Sir John Menteith who discovered the hiding place of the patriot at Robroyston through the treacherous information of Jack Short, his servant. Menteith came under cover of night with a contingent of henchmen and after a violent scuffle in which Wallace’s valiant companion, Kerly, was slain, Wallace himself was finally overpowered. Menteith promptly handed his prisoner over to Sir John de Segrave who quickly transported him to London where he was brutally executed.
Menteith was well rewarded for his part in this treachery: he received land to the value of one hundred pounds. But the body of water on his lands has ever since been referred to by Scotsmen as “Lake” Menteith rather than “Loch” Menteith, an intentional slur on his name ensuring that his betrayal should never be forgotten.
The document shown at the top of the sketch, known as the Wallace letter, is from King Philip IV of France to his officials at the Vatican and mentions Wallace by name. It was issued on the 7th November 1300 and was in Wallace’s possession on the night of his capture and has been held in the Tower of London ever since. The letter from the French king asks his agents in Rome to help Wallace in business with Pope Boniface VIII. It suggests Wallace intended to travel to Rome, although it is not known what his business there was.

Great points made re: Wexner and other BMD's. There are plenty of people giving money to the University who care not about football. They want to be associated with a world-class institution of learning and sofa incineration. And in our #metoo environment, those rich, old white people are even more critical.

Wexner himself never struck me as a big sports guy. Yeah his wife gave him the Woody upgrade, but that's a small part. He basically built a whole new hospital around our existing one, and funds a large share of our art program.

I don't have a problem with anything he said. He handled the NC aftermath like a pro. He handled the Barkley thing hilariously. I've got nothing but respect for the young man. I'm still not sure what kind of leader Sam is going to be, but if he's anything like Hurts, we're in good shape.

    Sam who?

Should this happen and there isn't someone nearby with a snarky cesspool sign and heckling the fuck out of Herby for the entire 3 hours of the show, I'll be disappointed.

That might also depend on where TCU and tOSU are both ranked that night when they play in Jerry World.  Might be a close call between these two games.

Indeed.  Long way to go for a home game, but there you are.

Thought around here is that if UW loses to Auburn, even going undefeated the remainder of the way probably won't get us in.  Lot of baggage being carried right now by both the conference and the Huskies.

Looking forward to the trip down there in a few weeks though!

    I think y'all beat Auburn.

I feelz it.. I feelz it.. tight... can't... breathe...

The entire state of Ohio (except for Denison University, lots of hot, snobby elite wimmens there, mostly from other states) is a huge cardiac clog anyway.

This time it will be a cancer scare.

Or at least put it on hold for a while. Most of the time, “Tell me about” threads don’t bother me and I enjoy them, but it has gotten to the point where it’s getting out of hand.

Also, we didn’t need a tell me about thread for tOSU because one already exists.

Really?  That's news to me as there wasn't a thread with that title yet.

Meyer is either going to have to sellout his wife or tell the truth. I wonder what he will choose?

He's going to throw her under the bus and she won't do or say anything about it because Urban is her cash cow.

The lack of coverage around this on ESPN is baffling, it's not on their college football page at all, much less the ESPN front page.

Of course its not, ESPN has to protect one of their cash cows and investments.

'TTUN' is the most aggy thing besides aggy I've ever heard. But at least its capitalized.

He would refer to us as TDS when he was at Utah.  He turned what was a good-nature rivalry, toxic.
