  1. I see an opportunity for an EPIC photo shop there.......
  2. See, I told you we should've given Rick Pitino a call.......
  3. Hey, #2 in the country has to count for something right.........shit.......better get this resolved before the new polls are released today........
  4. #2 coach at a football-only school?…………. My guess is “third degree, schmird degree” with some “really, really sorry’s” and a splash of rehab counseling. Of course, I could be wrong in which case we’re f—-ked………
  5. No Bijan, no Roschon, no DeMarvion…………… effin’ shit show this bowl game concept in the 21st century I tell ya’. I get players with NFL-value not wanting to risk injury, but if that’s the way it’s going to be then how about providing some gdamn incentive to spice things up…..perhaps a stack-cube of cash on the 50-yard sideline that goes to the winning players, or lines of blow off stripper tits when you reach the end zone? C’mon, where’s the creativity man?
  6. I saw the matchup and opted for World Cup…..
  7. Bowl games….. was just looking at The bowl schedule, and I don’t think I saw a game even slightly worth considering making time for until Dec. 27th (Wisconsin vs Ok State). JacksonState vs North Carolina Central?….. Eastern Michigan vs San Jose State?…. Liberty vs Toledo?….. Western Kentucky vs South Alabama?…. New Mexico State vs Bowling Green?…. I honestly don’t know how they can sell this shit content to T.V. partners and I know from seeing the stands in the past they sure aren’t selling tickets and beer. Tis’ the season I guess…. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/cfpbowls2022/college-football-bowl-schedule-2022-2023-dates-s-matchups-every-game
  8. Tulane vs USC in The Cotton Bowl…….good God…..
  9. My bad, I must’ve been thinking of the Oregon v Oregon State scenario. Utah only played for The PAC 12 title this week because teams in front of them lost opening the door. Guess that means Washington was behind Utah and Oregon in that line last week
  10. Would’ve played for the PAC 12 championship vs USC had they not lost The Apple Cup. Of course that scenario only reared it’s head late in the season with both UCLA and Oregon taking late unexpected losses (one of which was Oregon losing to Wash). PAC 12 kind of is what it is. Washington’s QB is getting some sleeper NFL draft hype though he’s quite injury prone which might not bode well for him playing in the bowl game
  11. Probably. Almost zero drama there. It’s going to be Texas v Washington in The Alamo Bowl
  12. It could, but I just don’t find Big XII leftovers vs PAC 12 leftovers very interesting. Wish the Alamo Bowl had ties with a conference other than The PAC 12. One of the reasons I’ve generally lost interest in the Bowl season (other than a multitude of crap small school matchups) is you can see some teams who “just missed out on their goals” really don’t bring it if their key players play at all. It wasn’t like that a decade or so ago. More often than not, bowl season is a smaller program all fired up to play against a favorite that barely cares about being there. Unfortunately, I think college football needs to provide more player incentives for these games which one could argue they just did by going to a 12-team playoff. We’ll see how that works because the bowl game ratings since the advent of the 4-team playoff have been absolutely brutal as has been attendance. Speaks for itself
  13. Georgia is going to dominate this CFP. Just think they’re that much better for the field.
  14. They should change the name of The Alamo Bowl to The Leftovers Bowl
  15. Can’t speak for the source you’re questioning, but there is a lot of this talk going around from other sources.
  16. The game plan clearly did not involve Ewers. 12/21 for just over a hundy while the rushers eclipse 400…
  17. I’d say ‘Same ole’ Kansas’, but same ole’ Kansas beat us in our own house so I’ll go with ‘How the hell did this team start out 5-0?’
  18. That that is a fair question shows just how continuingly far down the spiral The Longhorn football program has fallen. Even the 00’s Seminole football program figured it out in less time
  19. Meyer or stay the course. SEC is just over the horizon. It’s been a schizophrenic season for The Longhorns with inexplicably high and inexplicably low moments on both sides of the football. Consistency is not what has been going on here. One game defense is a sieve, the next it is absolutely dominant with no in between. Sometimes the running game is a force, and in other games it is non-existent. Ewers has had games where he looked like he was on his way to big things, and other games (namely Ok State and TCU) where he looked inaccurate, unconfident, and lost (yes, I understand he’s a freshman)
  20. They stacked the box daring UT to throw. Your QB should have had 1-on-1 looks or better MOST of the game (a QB’s wet dream) and he finished 17 of 39. Yes there were drops, but it was a lot more than those drops. It was a replay of the Oklahoma State game performance. About the only defense I can come up for Quinn is ‘he’s a freshman’. Has appeared to me from game 1/drive 1 of the season to have a confidence problem. Was hoping that was just his personality, but am starting to have serious doubts. Ewers should’ve been pulled…….but perhaps that afore-mentioned confidence problem is why SARK didn’t make the move……again. Very difficult to make sense of tonight’s offensive performance, but that’s my best shooting from the hip stab at doing so. Defense?……shockingly amazing showing after many games of far from….
