  1. No, he’s a defensive back
  2. Also, not getting enough pressure on this QB
  3. ISU WR was wide open again. Luckily he didn’t make the catch
  4. Finally, a chess move that worked
  5. Too early, but I’d be lying if that thought didn’t cross my mind after that last throw. Ewers looks like the outnumbered British army trying to figure out the Zulu invasion so far
  6. Needed that. Terrible throw
  7. That would, it seems, to be this program’s problem. For years….
  8. I can understand the Texas offense struggling to figure out Campbell’s defense. A little more difficult to understand ISU’s early success in the passing game
  9. That was a TD w/ an accurate throw. WR had him beat
  10. 5-Star culture won the 1st quarter
  11. Iowa State content for a FG and clock kill here
  12. This Cyclone team is abysmal offensively. They’ve also passed for 3 first downs on this drive so far
  13. For all his impressive attributes, Ewers sure has made some bonehead decisions in his early career
  14. Iowa State’s points allowed this season: 10 vs SE Missouri St 7 vs Iowa 10 vs Ohio 31 vs Baylor 14 vs Kansas 10 K-State Sark figuring out the ISU defense is going to be the key
  15. It truly is a Love/Hate relationship so far
  16. East Texas Lovie grew up a Longhorn fan
  17. Would love to jump aboard the “We’re going to destroy them” vibes, but The Longhorn football program is going to have to show me they’ve turned the corner in terms of bringing the same effort they bring in big games to less-celebrated matchups like the one today. Too often the past decade, that just hasn’t been the case including this season (see Tech after Bama). The upcoming schedule will provide ample opportunity for The Horns to show they’ve put that in their rear-view
  18. It’s 9am before an 11am kick? Guess that makes two of us
  19. Not a Cowboys fan, but impressive showing these 4 games w/o Dak and the NFC looks to be wide open
  20. The challenge for the coaching staff will be convincing the players that they can’t just show up and beat the Texas Tech’s and Iowa State’s of the world, an unfortunate trend that seems to have been part of this program’s identity for a decade. They’ve proven that they can get up for and compete with the Alabama’s of the world. Now it’s time to prove they can bring the effort in less celebrated matchups. I also think the coaching staff will be walking a fine line between allowing the OU performance foster team confidence while also getting the players to understand that the OU team they faced in the Cotton Bowl on Saturday was a shell of their former selves.
  21. Yeah, destined to become a classic:
  22. Largest margin of victory in Texas-OU game………52
  23. Just keep them at zero and I’m satisfied
