  1. that is unacceptable from Corey unless he's hurt.
  2. that shows you why catchers pull their gloves in so much. the ump is almost always looking at the glove in relation to the catcher
  3. probably a good guess...
  4. well yeah fuck Nico but why couldn't Donic get in this kind of shape while playing for the Mavs? what changed?
  5. another fantastic AB there. sheesh
  6. I think the only way is if the crew chief initiated it, since it was in the 8th, but that's not the way it was explained.
  7. can they just let him ride the bench? he's the biggest disaster of a signing I think I may have ever seen.
  8. just getting a bit of a head start on August...
  9. Daly getting addicted to hand sanitizer was one of the funnier bits. One of the issues is they can't do the "Happy doesn't know X about golf" jokes like the big fake checks, standing in front of the guy about to tee off, etc. They did do some of that with Bad Bunny being the caddy that doesn't know anything about golf though.
  10. it is more about him being able to go 100% for longer in a game which, in theory, will help him defensively. he certainly modified his effort when he needed to, to stay in a game. maybe you get rid of 30 bad pounds and add back 10 good pounds. I think it will help his outside shooting also.
  11. its too bad it took trading him for him to get his ass in gear.
  12. well this made it easy. to be honest, a bit shocked he never made at least one...
  13. Doyle Alexander?
  14. I kept expecting a Woods cameo. strange he's not in it. He could have been a courtesy driver....
  15. the Zalatoris looking like Gilmore caddy thing was a deal on the PGA tour when Zalatoris broke out 2022.
  16. Wyatt the happiest guy in the building.
  17. to be fair it's "meddling kids" but carry on...
  18. when the Stones finally got back together to tour in 1989, Jagger and Richards were 45 years old(a decade younger than Dave Grohl is now) and the "Strollin' Bones" moniker was created...
  19. "we need to tour to support the record!"...."we need to record to support the tour!"
  20. oh for sure. I was just saying from a sales perspective. It's actually a pretty good album. I'd still go with Scenes but that's just me..
  21. yep. her insight makes it interesting if you already kind of know Joel's story. probably a bit of the reason they split it into 2 parts. mainly split I'm assuming, Before Christie and After Christie. It is amazing that he never really had a true "down" period. Turnstiles was a disappointment but he came right back with his biggest album ever. Even without a down period he did kind of have 2 careers.
  22. The funny thing is I think Spieth is pretty real as well. Spieth just does it differently. I don't get the sense he's forcing anything like I do with BCD, Rory, Phil, even Justin Thomas a bit. And as far as scheffler goes, if his sponsors and PGA tour aren't making him do stuff, why do it. I think there is some responsibility to fans and giving back some but I bet he does that and you just don't hear about it.
  23. well that and the fact Jack was hitting close to 2 clubs less that almost everyone else on tour for about 6 years. but yeah to your point, he had great hands as well. it wasnt all about power. you got 2 minutes Scottie better get to work.
  24. He needed Randy Smith. the whole thing with Tiger about changing his swing WHILE he was dominating got overblown and now people think you can really do that. If I told Woods he needed to drop his back foot away from the ball, flatten his swing, shake his ass, and tilt his shoulders more he'd still dominate because the key is the the last half a foot before his hands square with the club face at the ball. which is why Randy Smith never told Scottie he needed to look like Byron Nelson when he swung the golf club.
