I always want the shot and I will always want us to make playoffs in any sport we compete in.
I'd also like us to finish strong so that when we make inevitable coaching changes we are potentially able to pick up good coaches.
you can't do anything with the goalpost or the pylons. It was a completely selfish play and stupid but these are football players we are talking about.
I hate ND with the heat of 1000 suns and fuck them but they did beat USC and Pitt both on the road. though playing at USC is like playing at neutral site.
an actual blowout of ark and a solid win against aggy MIGHT give the committee something to think about but this team likely doesn't have that in them.
Petrino is a pretty good OC and I don't trust our DB's at all anymore. Green is a good enough athlete to cause our rush some problems.
I think people really overdo the Saban angle with Sark. he isn't a Saban acolyte. he was a Saban reclamation project. He and Kiffin are Carroll acolytes.
Smart is a Saban acolyte, kind of like Muschamp, but had more time under Saban than Mus did.
Muschamp being at Georgia the last few years probably helps Kirby a ton as well. Dude was not a good HC but he's a top flight DC.

yep. likely a first round bounce out but depends on the matchup. the committee does seem to be a bit better than the traditional polls in regards to the loss column.
that said we keep giving reasons to have people drop us even in our wins.
ha. behind both OU and Vandy. gotta love the historical polls and the loss column. if we play Virginia Tech instead of Ohio State the coaches and AP would have us at 8.
at 14-10 I was thinking we were right in line with the usual one score loss. 21-17, 24-17 or something like that. then the 2 4th downs, coverage busts, and the onside kick and blowout ensues.
