In March 2021, a crypto entrepreneur bought an NFT of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s first tweet for $2.9 million. Last week he listed it for $48 million, promising to donate half of the proceeds to charity. But when the auction closed yesterday, the top bid was…$277.
This makes no sense. Who would pay $277 for a screenshot of a tweet?

Probably Brini.
That's a fucking haul. Even without Brini, it's arguably the best in the country and that's before we add Mathis. Bunch of smart guys on here talking shit and pissing their diapers while crying about the staff over the last hundred pages or so. Pretty funny now.
Ewers alone makes it the best in the country.

It’s also interesting that Gibbs might be the best player in the portal. Choice recruited some really good players to Georgia Tech.
Currently CB'd to Bama.

Sounding like the team next year will just be Bijan, Worthy, RoJo, and the class of 2022.

Look, I'm as shell-shocked as anybody by this catastrophic season we just witnessed, but there is no way Ewers is transferring and not to Texas. Don't be a bunch of pussies about this. The next chapter starts now.

any back story released on why riley is going scorched earth on OU? did he not want to move to SEC and pissed they moved? did he want OU to match the raise offered by LSU and USC and they didn't? they OU only offer to give raise to him and not his asst coaches?

OU had a down year, mostly attributable to Rattler sucking then throwing in a raw freshman, and they still won 10 games. Any Oklahoma fan saying they are happy to see him go are out of their minds.

Sounds like it already should be out of hand with Ole Miss choking away two drives deep in Aggy territory
They did. Ole Miss has outgained them 323-78 yds but keeps fumbling.

No heart, no leadership on either side of the ball.
-
If Ole Miss can put together a drive here, this one could get out of hand.

I thought most universities were requiring all returning students to be vaccinated. How is this even an issue?

Drinkwitz (still can't believe that's his name) has turned around Mizzou recruiting in a hurry.

Going from zero preseason, almost zero college games to a Chiefs vs Texans Watson and Mahomes playoff rematch is giving me whiplash. Like going 0 to 100. I love it.

Oh fuck yeah. In theory I have a couple more hours of work but fuck it, time pour a drink and watch highlight videos.
Just look at this shit, play is just silly. Random helmet flies off and hits him, rolls to the left and flicks a dime 55 yards. That's a high school sophomore against the best defense in the state.
Honestly looks like Pat Mahomes right here, not a HS sophomore.

FCS All-American Shane Simpson reveals the unique way he decided to commit to Virginia
Shane Simpson sat in his room Sunday evening 10 minutes prior to announcing his transfer decision, still undecided.
Simpson, a 2018 FCS All-American running back from Towson, was choosing between Virginia and Texas.
The NFL hopeful sat down, prayed and asked God for a sign. He then wrote down “UVa” on three pieces of paper and “Texas” on another three pieces of paper. He put them in a hat, closed his eyes and picked the pieces of paper out of the hat.
“I put my hand in the hat. Literally all three times it was UVa, not once was it Texas,” Simpson said, “so that was my sign.”
Simpson says he felt a strong connection between both the Texas and Virginia coaching staffs, and if he drew Texas, he would’ve felt comfortable joining the Longhorns. Instead, he’s coming to Charlottesville.

I am thinking more and more about one of the great missed opportunities in history where VP Biden would have narrowly beat Hillary in the 2016 primary and then destroyed Trump in the general, sparing us all these past 4 years.

Assuming the number automatically adjusts as a % of the cap whenever the cap goes up, this is a really smart way to do it from both sides' perspectives. KC gets their superstar locked down and spreads out the massive guaranteed payment as long as they can and Mahomes gets essentially a baseball contract.

Yeah that makes sense, and I think it's a good play. Give the red meat to the people on the internet who want the red meat. Appeal to the larger group on television who doesn't follow politics by appealing to their better selves.
My guess is they spend the summer building up Biden then in the last 2 months unleash a shitstorm of negative Trump ads.

What's particularly interesting is the tacit acknowledgment by the Biden campaign that it's better to focus on Trump's negatives than Biden's positives. Look at the air time ratio on one versus the other.
It's not that this is hugely novel, rather it speaks to a certain amount of humility within the campaign leadership ("we're going to get a more enthusiastic response shitting on the other guy"). I'm sure it's quite a change from drawing up ads for Obama.
I think there's a pivot here I'd be interested in seeing to further demoralize the Trumpists ("you've stuck by Trump out of racial fealty; he's going to lose, there's no hope") that might be possible with some small adjustments.
I'm also wondering if it would make sense for Biden to just decline any debates at all. "The NY Times has already documented 18,000 lies over the last three years. I'm not interested in enabling a national platform for one more."
They have been making these negative ads and showing them online but haven't put a lot of money behind them. It is interesting that now they have some real funds and are going on the air in a big way the ad they are showing is just pro-Biden and not anti-Trump.

Biden opens 9-point lead over Trump in Senate battlegrounds: poll
"
Former Vice President Joe Biden has opened up a 9-point lead over President Trump in six states where Republican senators face difficult reelection battles this fall, according to a new poll.
The survey from Hart Research Associates finds Biden at 50 percent and Trump at 41 percent among voters sampled in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Maine, Montana and North Carolina.
Trump won four of those states in 2016, with the exception of Maine and Colorado. All six states feature vulnerable GOP incumbents: Sens. Marth McSally (Ariz.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Joni Ernst (Iowa), Susan Collins (Maine), Steve Daines (Mont.) and Thom Tillis (N.C.)."
