He's following Blair Angulo, who is the most clued-in person on this recruitment in the industry (and what an industry it is).
Would you say that he's "the best in the business?"

LSU gonna fire up a good ol aggy boycott against Yahoo for reporting what the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report reported:
QuoteYAHOO IS AT IT AGAIN ! THIS TIME THEIR STORY ALLEGES $180,000 PAYMENT TO VADAL ALEXANDER’S FATHER:
If you are an LSU fan my recommendation that you delete Yahoo and anything associated with Yahoo. This clown show repeatedly reports on anything LSU May have done no matter how small or big.
These 3 haters, Pat Forde, Pete Thamel, and Dan Wetzel, are the ones responsible for attempting to take down LSU.
LSU knew of this allegation in 2018 and has been working closely with NCAA to resolve issue.
Nothing to worry about here as I don’t believe anything will come of it. Just as I said about Will Wade’s situation. The only reason I am even posting this is because how disgusting Fake Yahoo news is.
With Alabama players admitting to taken money and in many cases openly cheating and given cars away and much more. You hear nothing from this LSU hating fake news organization.
Wipe this organization from all of your devices and never click on them again.

I believe property rights in the US make it much tougher to get the rights of way to do such things.
So you're saying the French are more likely to hand over their land than Texans are? Do you have any evidence of that?

Yeah ASU shouldn't risk their stellar academic reputation like that
Normally, I'd agree with you, but this is the Cronkite School, which is pretty nationally renowned. Hell, it's not even located in Tempe.

I don't understand why universities don't realize that having coaches teach classes makes them look like a joke. It's like they forgot what that was like in high school.

My in-laws still have their World Book Encyclopedias and Year Books proudly displayed on the built-in bookshelves behind their main TV.
They were also the last people on the planet to have a rotary phone, so this doesn't surprise me at all.

A federal judge sanctioned Pepper Hamilton on Friday after ruling the Philadelphia-based law firm “knowingly” violated court orders and ignored a subpoena to produce documents to 15 Jane Doe plaintiffs in their ongoing lawsuits against Baylor University.
U.S. District Judge Robert Pitman’s order comes four days after a 90-minute, show-cause hearing in Austin in which he cautioned attorneys for Pepper Hamilton and Baylor that their actions were delaying the litigation and increasing costs to all parties. He said in ordering the hearing that sanctions were appropriate against the firm, which Baylor hired to investigate the school’s handling of sexual assault allegations.
Pitman ordered Pepper Hamilton to pay plaintiffs’ attorneys Jim Dunnam and Chad Dunn “reasonable” expenses and fees incurred in preparing their amended motion to compel and the motion for sanctions.
“The evidence of Pepper Hamilton’s conduct in violation of the court’s orders is so ‘clear, direct, weighty, and convincing’ that the court reaches this conclusion with clear conviction and without hesitancy,” the judge wrote.
Pitman directed Dunnam and Dunn to file a motion detailing their fees and expenses by Aug. 20.
“Every step we take toward sunshine being shown upon what happened at Baylor is a positive step, and this is one more positive step,” Dunnam said.
Dallas attorney Bill Cobb, who represents Pepper Hamilton, did not return a phone message Friday.
Frustrated with Pepper Hamilton’s actions, which they charged have prolonged the lawsuit discovery process, the plaintiffs’ attorneys asked Pitman to sanction the firm. While Dunnam and Dunn did not seek sanctions against Baylor, they steadily have complained that Baylor has assured the court that it has complied with discovery orders, only to later bombard the plaintiffs with additional documents.
Pitman’s order Friday also addresses Baylor, saying the court “cautions Baylor that even inadvertent violation of a discovery order is eligible for sanctions, and the court will sanction if Baylor makes further production of Pepper Hamilton materials without adequate explanation.”
Baylor spokesman Jason Cook declined comment on Pitman’s order but said Baylor has provided more than 3 million documents and spent more than $4.5 million during the discovery process.

Schilmiller's family sent WAVE 3 News the following statement:
“Darin Schilmiller was born as Darin Thomas. He is a low-functioning individual, which was apparent at an early age. His biological family did not want him. He was subsequently adopted into the Schilmiller family in an attempt to provide a better life for a child. We had no knowledge of what was happening nor did we believe he was mentally and morally capable of carrying out these actions. We are mortified this is attached to our name. Our family is disgusted and hopes justice is served. We want the victims’ families to know our thoughts and prayers are with them. As bad as our embarrassment may be, it pales in comparison to the tragedy they have to endure.”
While those who knew Darin were shocked to hear about his involvement in this murder, they weren't surprised to hear that the FBI was already investigating Darin for child porn charges. "I don't think that anybody thought he would ever kill anybody but the child pornography—he definitely had a problem there," said Jade Pohle, who attended middle school and high school with Darin.
Jade reported Darin asking her for inappropriate photographs of herself in bathing suits while she was underage, and other women reported that Darin would frequently create fake personas on the web and use them to ask for photographs of babies having their diapers changed. In fact, some said that Darin's penchant for child porn was an open secret in the small town where he lived.

Every April or May, the posts on my Facebook feed start coming in with parents posing with their kids signing with D3 schools for the most part because by that time of the academic year, D1 and D2 schools have already allocated their scholarships with signing periods in the fall and winter. I have to think either those kids are getting a heck of good deal in academic based aid because D3 schools don't award athletic only scholies. Or are the parents are going further into debt to see their kid play sports in college? Are they blinded with the fact they spent so much money getting him/her to this point, they have to see it play out at the next level?
Blows my mind to see kids "signing" with D3 schools. They're not signing to play the sport. They're signing to pay tuition there.

Anyone that tweets at recruits is a moron. All schools have them. I think it was Princely U that had some idiot Texas fans come at him recently, which probably helps fuel the speculation that he's trending aggy despite being on campus the past two weekends. That said, I'm sure aggy has a special breed.
