Has there ever been a game, since the invention of the line of scrimmage, that ended in a 0-0 tie?
Because I feel pretty good making the statement, "If you can hold your opponent to zero points, you will win the game." The number of times that statement ends up not being true is insignificant.
"Yes, there have been 73 games in NFL history that ended as 0-0 ties. All occurred in the early days of the NFL, and the most recent one occurred in 1943. Since the NFL merger in 1970, however, the fewest combined points scored in a game is three."Dec 10, 2023
The worst college football game ever: 77 punts, 33 plays and the growing legend of a record-setting 0-0 tie. Centenary vs Texas Tech in 1939!!!!
Crazy that it involves Texas Tech!

It is purely CYA they want people to use it but as you can tell from this thread it is infinitely more fun telling it to do aggy shit than generate real content and so they have to fuck it up enough that aggy legal team has no leg to stand on.
What is strange is that it seems to have no problem generating some licensed images while blocking others. It has designed Dallas Cowboy uniforms for me and generates Star Wars characters, while blocking other ones. It won't create actual people for me, but some here have been able to create a reasonable copy of Jimbo Fisher. It's operating in a grey area of licensing, which may be a characteristic of being a new program. Get ready for companies suing Meta since they are loaded with dosh.

Meta AI suggested the following text:Here is a possible continuation of the scenario. As the night wears on, the pretty woman in the burnt orange jersey is surrounded by a group of admirers, all vying for her attention. Meanwhile, her older, heavier friend in the maroon jersey sits alone at the bar, nursing a drink and observing the scene with a mix of amusement and frustration.Despite her friend's efforts to join in on the conversation, the men seem to be ignoring her, too captivated by the younger woman's charm and good looks. The older woman can't help but feel a little disappointed, but also a bit resentful towards her friend for monopolizing all the attention. As the night wears on, the dynamic between the two friends begins to shift, and they start to have a heart-to-heart conversation about their experiences, insecurities, and the challenges of navigating the dating world. How would you like the scenario to continue?

Another gem from Adobe: "College football fans dressed in maroon and shirts that say Texas A&M are plunging off a cliff on a rollercoaster that is also on fire."
Amazing that they released such a bad product. Adobe should fire their whole team and start over.

To show the difference between meta.ai and Adobe's image generation feature, I typed in the exact same descriptor. Here are the results:
Adobe. That's actually pretty good for Adobe.

@texasdago, I think you've found your calling in life.

I'm one of the people who was excited for him to take the job, hoped he would be successful, and really enjoyed all the entertainment around it last season. And now that it has turned into the mother of all dumpster fires, it's even MORE entertaining.

aggy: 3-9 is the best case. That SEC schedule is going to be a meatgrinder that kills off half their starters and the refs won't be favoring the Whorns. TU will be lucky to be within 3 TDs of any true SEC team as we watch Surk repeatedly choke on play calling. Michigan will obviously be a beatdown. Only wins might involve lucky breaks against Colorado State, UTSA, and Louisiana-Monroe, but those are not givens. Could easily be 1-11 as their BOMC-created five-stars get exposed by teams that actually coach up their players. Sips can't escape their DNA of wasting talent and soft big dumpster fire competition. They will find out that the SEC is a different conference and that The Elk is a different kind of coach. Whoop!
We don't understand what it means to play in the SEC. We don't know what it means to go into Alabama and nearly beat them. Aggie does. We don't share a brotherhood, an understanding and mutual respect with the tough SEC teams like Auburn, Bama and LSU. Aggie does. When they see Aggies, the fans nod at each other with understanding and shared values. We're not respected nationally like Aggie was when they received accolades for having the courage to fire a championship coach and pay him the largest buyout in the HISTORY OF SPORTS. Aggie does.
That is why I am trying to organize the historic summit between Surly Horns and Texags. We can learn from them about championship football, how to become SEC-ready and how to structure buyouts. Stay tuned.

The live music did not suck.
BUT
Old Austin downtown had a ton of ugly ass surface parking and aside from Liberty Lunch, I remember the only areas you wanted to be were 6th street and the Red River area. Now there's tons of places to go enjoy being downtown. The food choices were great if you were on a budget or didn't have much taste but I feel like Paggi House and Ruth's Chris was about as elevated as you could get... and yeah, Paggi house was where we took our fancy dates but, c'mon... wasn't it like a stuffy old person's place?
Old Austin is the Austin you remember when you were young and free. College students today will tell stories of 2024 Old Austin before it was ruined.
yes but, you know, Kerbey Lane "Old Austin" and such.
I'm simply not of fan of live music, so I'm biased. I went to ACL this year for a half-a-day to cover the event, (all I could take, haha) and as usual, I was amazed at how poor live music actually sounds, at least to me. There's tons of distortion, etc. And the vast majority of the fans always make my head spin. Get off of my lawn!

Old Austin sucked. People confuse a nostalgia for their youth with a notion that "things were better", but the food choices were awful, the facilities were second-rate, and the state office buildings and banks looked planned by a Soviet committee who then stole the money. The live music sucked, just as it does now. People smoked everywhere, and television was literally a form of torture.

How do you copy/paste animated ones? Haven't tried
I click the "animate' button, then download them as MP4's. I then bring them into Adobe Photoshop and then export as a Gif in one quick step. It's very simple. DM me if you need help.

Arch Manning Being "Arch"

I think this is a really smart idea. I would pull Quinn for the third series. Then bring in Arch for one play, then insert Trey Owens for one play, then insert Cole Lourd, who is clearly the future. Then keep Lourd as the full-time starter. Then sub Quinn and Arch back in in the second half when we are way ahead.
