  1. Cam has been league MVP and taken a team to the Superbowl.  That's pretty much every QBs ceiling besides the few that win one on top of that.  I get it if you don't think he's a top 5 QB because there are some elite guys at the top, but everyone after top 5 aren't just lumped together as practically the same guy.  There are a whole lot of degrees in there.

The comparison on point except that Cam is better at pretty much every metric.  Bigger, stronger, faster, more accurate, and better decision making.

  2. TCU and Baylor will always lose beauty contests to the likes of OSU.  It has nothing to do with data points and everything to do with the fact that the committee was looking for any reason to vote OSU ahead.

Painful how clueless BaD is on college football talk and the RRS having been in dallas for ~20 yrs... just had to turn it off when bob said he left with 21 pt lead

Basically you have Bob, Jake, and Norm as the only guys capable of offering sports analysis.  The rest are just there to make jokes, and have no more insight than a random at a sports bar.  Bob doesn't like college football outside of scouting for NFL, Norm doesn't relate well to the listener, and Jake who has the most college football knowledge is relegated to tier 2.

I've seen this argument used a lot by those who oppose a playoff at all or an expanded playoff beyond what we have now. It's a red herring. The #5 team getting left out of a 4-team field is far more egregious than #69 getting left out of a 68-team field. #5 is exponentially more likely to win a championship than #69.

No one even pays attention to college basketball until the 68 teams are in place.  There is no bitching about being #69 because nobody has a clue what to bitch about.

Paul Blart mall cop was actually surprisingly funny. Nobody has seen it, to know that, though.

It did well at the box office, so I am guessing a lot of people saw it, even if they don't admit it.

Same here. Give me a hot dog over a corn dog any day. But for some reason, people hype up these Fletcher's corn dogs for the State Fair.

The best corn dog in the world is still just a fucking corn dog.

  7. Do you guys use instantwatcher or something similar, or do you have it setup where Netflix actually shows you new stuff they added.  Unless I specifically search for a title I wouldn't even know they were carrying it.  They do a piss poor job of actually showing any movie that isn't a Netflix original.

  8. All dogs can be sweet.  Why pit owners think pits being sweet is more special than any other breed is beyond me.  Outside of their intimidating looks and build there isn't anything special about a pit that isn't duplicated in countless other breeds.

Why would someone want a breed that is despised by so many people who otherwise love dogs? I understand the tough guy owner or the fact that some people self-identify with a breed that - in their mind - is misunderstood and rejected. I’m asking why normal people would want one.

Owning the toughest dog on the block has got to be the appeal for the majority of owners.  I think the rest would be people that truly believe it's not the dog it's the owner and are attempting to prove that point.  I feel the majority of dog owners are shitty owners anyways so they would still fail even if it that adage were true.

That's pretty much what a woman whose breastfed 2 kids and hasn't had plastic surgery looks like.

Hers always looked bad though.  I suppose she could have popped her kids out early, but they've been saggers for some time now.
