  1. Yeah Mahomes is going to lap Prescott's production this season.  The difference in playing way above a 4th round rookie QB grade, and playing as the best QB in the league is quite a gap.  Not that Mahomes can keep up that pace.

  2. Agree with that.  If anything some of these players have got to be looking at the QB and thinking WTF.  I mean it's one thing to pay Rogers his money, it's another to drop down 10-15 pegs and pay that guy insane money while telling everyone else to hit the bricks.

  3. Didn't the rookie slot salary shift a big portion of the salary cap from rookie contracts to veteran contracts?  That's a good thing if you are a veteran right.  I mean are there teams out there right now substantially under the salary cap refusing to spend money, or all they all right around the salary cap?

  4. Looks dumb cheesy, and exactly what they avoided in the first Creed.  We even got the montage of him low tech training right there in the trailer, we don't even have to speculate.

That depends entirely on where you work and the facts and circumstances. For example, in a state with strong unions, the teacher could have told the principal to fuck off and not gotten fired. Other times, policies may violate the law and create a situation where the employee cannot be fired for refusing to violate the law.

Fair enough, although I assumed not having to follow illegal orders is somewhat implied.

Nobody is really making a point about her being fired.  It also says in the article that administrators told her that no turned in work equals 50%, so she still disobeyed.  The discussion is about the policy itself.

    The policy that doesn't exist?

If your boss tells you to do something one way whether it's written or not it's policy.

I don't know, the possibility of those things occurring may keep a lot of folks on the straight and narrow.

Hmmm, rob a convenience store and maybe get beat and fucked for 10 years?   Nah, forget it, I'll just get a job.

That theory certainly explains why our prison population numbers are so low.

Yeah, I will argue with anyone who cries about the targeting rules because I think it's absolutely the right way to go (with room for debate on the consequences for breaking it), but the rules on QB hits in the NFL are simply absurd.

The targeting rules are at least about all player's brain viability.  This rule is 100% about not having a shitty backup QB matchup that hurts ratings.  The league doesn't care how you tackle anybody else as long as the head is out of play.

I couldn't name one song any of those people sing but I would recognize them if I saw them except Coldplay, I don't know who/what that is.

Plenty of people can claim not knowing any Maroon 5 songs.  It's top 40 crap, and as long as you don't have kids all that can be easily avoided.  The claim was this was the first superbowl that they wouldn't know a song of the artist.  This entire decade has been nothing but top 40 crap halftime performances.  If you know Timberlake, Beyoncé, BEP, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry (all recent SB performers) songs then you know Maroon 5 as they all share the same airwaves.
