  1. Smoked prime rib for the win. If your crew is more into ham, smoke that too. I will say I have converted my family to smoked hams after doing one for Easter this year. Coat the ham heavily with coarse ground pepper and you've got a smoked peppered ham.....unbelievable.
Question on the ham. Are you smoking a whole ham or one of those spiralized hams? Can you smoke a spiral without it being too smoky?
  2. What y'all got?  This is will be the first year I host.  I've got 1 oven so I'm trying to be a little strategic and use either my grill or smoker.  Trying to decide on protein(s) but I know for a fact I'm going to do this sweet potato recipe (senator russells) as well as the tamale cornbread recipe

Go to your local michoacana and grab a bottle of this for $3. Sometimes I’ll buy some cilantro and chop it up and sprinkle it over the top.
I actually skip this step and go straight to the butcher counter to get their premarinated. That shit is money

Yeah, when the coolant in my daily gets low, it starts to make that gurgling sound. Let it get cool and check it. Have you had your oil changed lately? A lot of places will check it and too it off for you around here.

I change my own oil.  It's above the minimum line but that's while it's cold.  Is it worth getting a coolant flush at 110K miles?  Assuming it's never had one.

  5. Have you had any coolant system work done lately? If so they didn't get all the air out (most likely). If not I'm guessing you're getting low on coolant due to a leak.
I have not had any work done. I've also never had it changed since I've owned the vehicle (bought at around 15k miles). It's weird. It just sounds like a tub of water is under the dash and I really only hear it when I'm coming to a slow quick stop or a quick push on the gas. There are no leaves in the windshield drain so i think it should be able to drain.
  6. What kind of vehicle?  Could be the heater core?
'13 Tahoe. Has about 110k miles
This.  I'm hearing that same sound, and my heat system isn't functioning correctly.  I've been wondering if it wasn't that. I'm very very afraid to find out for sure.
My heater is strong and still working. Is that an expensive problem?
  7. What apps do y'all use for visual voicemail?  I have an unlocked S9+ and the AT&T app won't work with my phone (I can't get past the PIN login despite the pw being correct and being reset multiple times).  I've tried youmail and I'm just not too fond of it.

  8. Jesus Christ yes.  My wife has to clean some part of our house every night, regardless of whether or not it needs to be cleaned.  Then she tries to act like she's doing it for me.  No, you're doing it for you.  I do not give a fuck if you've swept the kitchen for the second time in 5 days and I have made this perfectly clear numerous times.
Yea. This is my wife. Every night.
  9. I cooked a 12 pounder this Sunday when it was windy as hell. It basically was a version of hit and fast due to that...mainly cooking around 325 +/- 25*. It actually turned out pretty damned exceptional.

I know, I know. My cutting game is off.
