  1. I'm starting Parkland by Dave Cullen, who wrote a fantastic book on Columbine. Gotta love multiple school shootings being written about by the same journalist/author but here we are.

Good analogy.  I'll probably end up ordering a draw of it every year, if I come across it, but I don't think I'll ever buy another 6 pack.

Honestly, it's been awhile since I really loved a Bell's IPA.  Both Two Hearted and Hop Slam were important beers when I was coming up, but either it changed or I changed, and regardless it just isn't the draw for me it used to be.

I agree with your assessment of Hopslam. I didn't have it until last year when Texas finally got it and I was way underwhelmed. Two Hearted is still god though imo but there is really so much better and cheaper to buy.

  3. Going to Birmingham to visit the wife's family or what's left of them. Her grandma is a sweet old southern well-to-do lady but is getting older, can't hear very well and is more and more anxious about everyone staying in her house. The SiL and MiL are both drunks and the wife can't really stand them much anymore. I actually love visiting Birmingham. Great beer and food scene. Friendly people. There's always a gigantic drunken meltdown involving either the MiL or SiL or both and my wife (who barely drinks because of them). So I have that inevitably to look forward to. Her sister also held grudges from their childhood against her until I sat down and talked to her about it at length. People are just fucking ridiculous. Her mom's the worst too. The absolute worst. I will be drinking heavily all week. Luckily we are going to NOLA to meet her best friend right before New Year's. Will be worth the wait.

I spent a lot of time a month or so back looking at running watches.   There are a lot of good watches, so it really comes down to what features you want.   For me, I decided that the features I needed were  GPS tracking and bluetooth music.   I don't carry my phone on my runs, so I need my watch to be the source of my music.   For me, the winner was the "Garmin vivoactive 3M" watch and a pair of Jabra Elite Sport wireless earbuds.    Very happy with both.

As soon as I return home, the watch syncs with an app on the phone and I can see all type of details about the run: a map, pace, heart rate, elevation, stride, etc.    It was interesting to see the elevation and pace together on the same graph.  I found that as I go up a hill my pace slows as as expected, but when it levels off my pace wasn't picking back up for quite some time.    Garmin did a good jobs on the software.

I went with the Forerunner 235 and I love it. I usually run with my dogs and carry a waist leash that has a pouch for my phone so I don't need the music feature yet. It's so much more accurate for what I need than Apple Watch. So glad I switched now that I want to be a more consistent and better runner.

How about we replace you with her, I mean what right do you have to be here after all

Or has he been through anything like what they've been through to get here and would actually appreciate the hell out of being an American?

    If you say so.

They just want to work for the same type of liberty and freedom that your dumbass takes for granted.

Why is it wrong to have a secure border and not this mayhem?  Get in damn line like everyone else trying to come here legally.  No one has a right to be here.  There are strict criteria you must meet and a process.  If the process is.threatened like it is now yeah you shut it down until things calm down.  I dont think any other country would do this any differently and some places it would be quite violent.

Many of our ancestors including mine fled war-torn countries/communities to find a better and safe life in America but fuck them because it's 2018 and they're brown amirite?
