  1. Shhhhh! The number of friends and family with legacy cable to let me borrow their pw for LHN keeps dropping precipitously. I for one am thankful for these fine folks.
  2. You can now edit your guide, and add the channels, on mobile.
  3. Just coming over to post the same... You win!
  4. We have Xfinity 100. Six kids and two adults online *all* the time. All streaming video and music, gaming, working or remote school. Never ran into bandwidth issues (yet.) As a test, we've had video streaming on 3 TVs, 7 phones/tablet, and 2 laptops/Chromebooks at the same time...no hang ups. Although the service will drop for a second/disconnect every couple of days. We have to do the ubiquitous restart of the router and modem every few days or that gets worse.
  5. Repost: While comparing streaming services, I ran across one I've never heard of, Vidgo, that has LHN. $40 a month.
  6. I'm not sure how or why, but a buddy from Manhattan gave me his Spectrum/Charter log in deets and it lets me watch LHN on ESPN app. I thought you only got LNH in Texas on that service. I hope this post doesn't jinx it, but worth a shot of you know anyone on Spectrum beyond Texas.
  7. Well shit. I hope that post is correct.
  8. While impractical and unprecedented, it's way less crazy than most of the crap in this thread. Interesting idea: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29424305/imagining-world-where-college-football-relegation-promotion
  9. After we finished Clone Wars...just amazing... The fam has started moving through Rebels. We are almost done, but I completely forgot Dume gave himself a sweet ass mullet after communing with Scooby Doo! I also never noticed his name was Dume the first go around or that it's not spelled Doom. Which means we are close the freaky astral plane part of the story. Even with time passing since we watched it, IMHO, I think the last four episodes of Clone Wars taken together is the best Star Wars movie.
  10. I didn't have to use the code for either, but I clicked through from the app so assume it carried over. Worth a try!
  11. Yep... Sprint customers here and worked fine for me to sign up for mlb.tv and The Athletic.
  12. Sprint customers eligible too. Free year of The Athletic as well.
  13. I measured and installed myself. Went with selectblinds.com. Seriously easy. I hope I don't jinx it, but we haven't had any dust magnet problems. Honeycomb cellular, which is what we had before these faux wood slat blinds, do a better job of insulating and blocking light. Also thinner. One thing to note, which is obvious after the fact, but I didn't notice beforehand, the top part sticks out a bit more than expected. But it's not that noticeable unless you see it from the side. Keep this in mind when you pick your width. If you want even cheaper, we previously put cut-your-own in the kids' rooms. Search "trim-at-home shade" on Amazon.
  14. The game is showing up in the Peacock browser version for me.
  15. Ha ha ha. Brilliant. Heads up...today's game is only on the new Peacock app or EPL Gold if you bought that. But the Peacock app is pretty janky. Everyone should start trying to make sure that works now. I've had Peacock for a while in beta. So I was pretty familiar with it. And it still took me about an hour to get it working on the TV. Not the least of which, is the app is not showing up in the play store for a bunch of the country. If it's not showing up for you, are you go: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peacocktv.peacockandroid I understand people in the Apple world cannot sideload apps so I do not believe there's a solution there if you don't see it in your app store. I was also able to use this link on Nvidia Shield/Android TV. Load it through a browser instead of the play store. Then once you get all that working, there is absolutely no sign whatsoever that the games will be on the app. No banners, no upcoming tab, no live sports tab, nothing. And we're an hour away from pregame. But this is normal for the crap Peacock app. Live sports just magically show up in the trending section a few minutes before they start.
  16. I don't know which apps are 4K, but yes, you can use YTTV creds to log in to the various apps.
  17. I really like our new strategery of getting the ball to our fast wingers and them stopping.
  18. While comparing streaming services, I ran across one I've never heard of, Vidgo, that has LHN. $40 a month.
  19. While checking suppose.tv to see if any options outdo YTTV, I ran across a streaming service I've never heard of, Vidgo, that has LHN. $40 a month.
