  1. young Olajuwon was my favorite player, ever.   He was great later, too, but his shot blocking at UH was so fantastic and then when he came to the NBA he was such a great and tenacious offensive rebounder.  As Moses Malone told him, you can't score without the ball, so he busted his ass to get the ball.

    Dirk would be no 2.

Check out Barolo, La Morra and Montforte d'Alba. Really great towns that are about a 5 minute drive from where you are with fantastic restaurants and tasting rooms.

This would be my trip   i want to spend a week in Piedmont hitting these villages

Azubuike declares with no agent from ku. My guts says he comes back as he doesn’t do anything on an nba level.

agree.  other than nba size, he offers nothing at this point.

I have a meeting every Wednesday at 9:30. Every, fucking Wednesday going on for about a year and a half now. You think my phone rings every Wednesday around 9:45 am?

ha ha, same.  wednesday 3pm standing meeting.  My wife has a class at 4pm and calls me while she is driving there every freakin' week.   clockwork.

You got a case of Caymus for less than the winery charges for one bottle?  Well done, good sir.

they probably only have about 20,000 cases left now!  premium "napa" juice there!

    The other burgundy white, imeaux.

I'll admit I've never had an Aligote.   How was it?  what is the flavor profile?

Many wineries have insulated Styrofoam shipping containers you can buy. Tape it up, put it in a box, and check it in. Or wrap the bottles in bubble wrap or towels and put them in a Coleman cooler, again, tape it up and check it in.

I have done the box before, but that is a pain in the ass to carry around the airport.   I like the idea of being able to roll the damn thing around.   case of wine is 40 lbs plus.

250 is obscene for a wine suitcase.  I think we may have paid 125 for ours.  Napa lives on shipping wine. The only pain in the ass is having ups deliver with a 21+ year old to sign.  But you can also have routed to walgreens - at least where I live.  Last count we're members of 5 or six little wineries.  Customer service is exceptional for all of them.

I just get everything delivered to office so I don't worry about the signing for it stuff.   The 250 is for a VinGarde and I don't see anything cheaper.

  9. No ideal what to expect from Baylor next season.  Adding the PG from Yale and Kegler will be eligible.  Kegler helps immensely because we know he will be our primary scoring option and should be the best skilled player we've had in a couple of seasons.  just don't know if we have the backcourt depth and shooting needed to be a really good team.

  10. The CS Wines of Substance Cab sells for about $17-18 I think.  2015 is pretty good and actually tastes like cabernet, which isn't always the case at these price points.  I think total wine carries it.

total wine also has a lot of Cote du Rhone wines under $20.   I have had a couple of duds but you can find a good drinker in there.

There is a Spanish white called Monopole, which should be about $14, and is a consistently pleasant white wine that should appeal to a broad range of tastes.

Best cheap Zin I've had recently was Shenandoah Vineyards Amador County zin.  Total Wine, $10 and pretty good zin characteristics without being some jelly/jam ick fest.  2014 was the vintage I had.

The question is where are you going and how many of the bottles are you willing to give as payment.

going to Cali.  would like to be able to bring back a few random bottles instead of having to wait 6 months for cooler weather for shipping purposes.  I could buy one for $250 which isn't bad, but not sure I'd ever use it again so my cheap self is hesitating on making the purchase.
