  1. If Neil Young or Joni Mitchell really gave a shit wouldn't they demand that I Heart Radio stop playing their music? They distribute dozens of lunatic right wing radio hosts disseminating vaccine misinformation after all.

Btw I think Rogan is a fucking moron and I am totally pro vaccine.

    Independent journalism.

While there are certainly reliable independent journalists, relying on independent journalists means Someone will consider every dipshit with a Twitter account to be a reputable source.

    Project Veritas is independent journalism

Your problem is that you expect Corporate media to be better than this. They are not.

Rittenhouse gonna be a rich man after he sues the shit out of the corporate media like the Covington high school kid.

Umm what is the alternative to "corporate media?"

State run media doesn't sound optimal to me

  4. I mean, Satoshi is definitely illiterate (Fox News Network clearly skews further than CNN in that chart), but I think there's issues with those rankings. In what world are OANN and Newsmax as centrist as CNN and Newsweek? Not to mention the New York Post's placement

I’m not advocating for charged but this isn’t even close to being an appropriate comparison.
Travis Scott is known for exhorting his crowds to rush stage, get amped up etc

Having a 9 year old in middle of that was a terrible decision. Setting aside lyrics, drug use etc going on. Just from a being in a scrum of people aspect it makes zero sense.

The dad is going to have to live with his poor decision the rest of his life.

I'm not defending the dad's decision, and I would not make the same decision with my kids.  I just think it's terrible to blame grieving parents right now. But hey, it's the internet so anonymous assholes piling on is par for the course

No thanks. That kid's parents suck. I'm all for pressing charges against them. Taking a 9 year old to that show? Gross.

Ha. I should try to get on the news with this commonly held belief? What a stupid opinion and emotionally-challenged response. I should file a complaint with the cops? Why? Did they violate the law? Last I checked, it is not illegal to have a different moral code than me. Either way, the cops are already involved and don't need a keyboard Karen "helping" them out.

We disagree here though I'm not sure why. Do you think the kid's parents are to be praised for taking him to this concert? Do think the dad made a great decision to take his 9 year old to a lineup that included Young Thug, SZA, Lil Baby, Drake, Travis Scott, etc.? Do you think a 9 year old should be exposed to those lyrics and the crowd that comes along with them? Do tell. Or don't.

So his parents should be charged even though they didn't violate the law? They made a poor decision - one that I wouldn't make.  They didn't commit a crime and its cruel and asinine to say they should be charged with a crime after losing their child in a tragic accident.

A 6 year old girl died in the Aurora movie theater shooting.  Should we charge her paralyzed mother for bringing her daughter to an R rated movie?

I want to go and find the number of times there was a single party in both chambers of the leg and the president and see if any have been within 10 miles of being as worthless as this one.

You have to go all the way back to 2017

  8. He's trying to make a cute jab at Biden after the Satchel Paige gaffe.  It's stupid but this is the guy who called a member of Congress a brother fucker the other day, so no surprise there

  9. Just got my pro today, the day it was supposed to be delivered. This is a pretty big step up for me as I'm going from the pixel XL OG to the new Pixel 6 pro.

    Pros:

The voice to text is awesome. It is seamless and quick, and adds punctuation automatically. I am totally in love with it.

The Tensor chip seems to be very effective. Processing is seamless and quick.

The camera is nice. Good results from night pictures especially. Magic Eraser is cool but sometimes janky, especially for prominent elements in a picture.

Now playing is pretty cool. It's nice to have a record of songs I heard today.

    Cons:

Battery life seems not so great. Hard to know for sure since I have only had the phone for 8 hours, but I charged it to 100% and was at 80 in two-three hours.

Just a personal thing but I don't like curved screens.

Fingerprint sensor is slow to respond at times. It also doesn't recognize me a little too often.

The camera bar works fine and IMO isn't ugly at all. It actually works well as a sort of finger rest. It will be unnoticeable when my case arrives next week.

The Houston Astros organization is moving forward with plans for a piece of downtown property it purchased in 2019.

That means a historic house and locomotive must be relocated off of the 1.738-acre property adjacent to Minute Maid Park, the Houston Chronicle reports. A small retail center that housed HTX Fan Tavern and Home Plate Bar & Grill also has been dismantled.
