This guy could have fucked his girlfriend but instead he was standing around eating captain crunch.
For the record, it was Life.
And yeah...was completely hammered. Whiskey-dick probably wouldn’t have cooperated anyway.
Sorry for partying!

In my defense, Beckinsale is so fucking hot in that one.
Agreed. And I always thought Corbett was funny in his role.

Close. It was the elementary pool. We joke about it but wife was in 4th grade when I graduated HS.
Yeah. Doing that math gets awkward at times. My wife was 4 when I graduated HS.

8 fingers in to some Buffalo Trace. Putting on my favorite wind-down album. She catches me in the kitchen pouring a bowl of cereal.
“The kittie wanted to make sure you were ok.”
i have no idea how to respond to that, so I say “I have no idea how to respond to that.”
“It’s ok,” she says, “he can come back with me.”
At this point, I’ve peeked in the Master. The Cat is in his usual don’t-give-a-fuck spot at the foot.
“Ok,” I say. Garfield French continues to play. Certainly not going to bed until Private Affair is done.
And.....scene!

I awoke at 4 am last night, flipping around the channels I found "Serendipity" playing on HBO. I watched the whole fucking thing and I would watch it again.
So gay. And so cool. Just sayin. NTTAWWT.....

About a month ago we noticed that our outside a/c compressor was making noise and sounded like it was going bad. I called the repairman, but had somewhere to be that afternoon so Mrs CL was here when the technician actually came.
I get home that night and Mrs CL says that the A/C guy said it wasn't broken and there was nothing to fix. I didn't ask more questions.
This weekend I notice that the A/C is working harder than usual and then this morning I notice it's not working at all. I go outside and the fan isn't running at all.
Go inside and call Mrs CL at her office and ask her to clarify the A/C guy's previous visit.
"He said that there wasn't anything for him to do that day but he'll order the part and to call him back when it finally goes out."
"I thought you said he said there was nothing wrong with it?"
"No, he said he'd order the part and wait for us to call him back when it finally quit working."
"So he knew it was broken and didn't fix it? And now that I'm sweating at my desk I'm supposed to call him back and pay him for the job he didn't do when I asked him? I don't have to be sweating right now because I called the repairman in time, but I'm still sweating? Why in the hell would I call the guy a second guy to fix something he should have fixed the first time?"
"He was really nice?"
I don't normally fall for "banging the repairman" explanations, but I'm struggling to find an alternate explanation. (The alternate explanation is that she's just as stupid as this sounds like)
I just called a different repair company.
Eh...that's KINDA on you...
But...my sincere sympathies.

This whole thread kinda titillates, then disappoints, then titillates again...but ultimately disappoints.

I caught a cold and I have no idea how. The first symptom was a sore throat Friday night. My throat felt better on Saturday but by that night it was a full on cold. Headache, runny nose, coughing and sneezing, head congestion.
I didn't have any physical contact with anyone in the three or four days leading up to Friday night. I didn't see cold symptoms from anyone that I interacted with. I prepared all my food at home until Friday night when I ordered takeout. But there wasn't enough time for incubation before symptoms appeared so it's not like someone sneezed on my pasta primavera.
I very rarely get sick. I don't have kids and don't interact with them much. I'm good about washing my hands regularly. The last time I caught a cold it was because a friend at my poker game was sick and didn't tell anyone but shook our hands anyway. Three of us caught his cold. I bought a big bottle of hand sanitizer for the game to put a stop to that. And we didn't play poker last week.
Damndest thing. My only guess is that some ailing individual wiped their nose and then used a door handle that I later used and they managed to slip one past the goalie. Hopefully it's gone soon. I could use a hearty bowl of chicken soup.
Damn, man...you're a paranoid little flower, aren't ya...?

Because that shit comes in a box. Nothing but low quality syrup. One of my old jobs, I had to maintain the fountain drinks in our main break room. First time being exposed to what a fountain drink actually was. So fucking cheap too which is why fast food and restaurants love to push drinks on you since the profit margin is huge on each drink.
To be fair, you didn't really explain why some are shit and some are good.
And now...I kinda wanna know, too...dammit!

I really want the 10 minutes back I spent on this thread. No worthwhile pics, no juicy felonies...nothing! Just a bunch of heavy stroking about "how do I trust people?"
Hide under the covers, Dorothy, it's a mean world out there.
Ah well...at least it was more entertaining that dishwasher switch placements in the Stupid Wives thread. I can't dance to it, but I'll give it a "6"......

Almost all the skirt steak you can buy in the US is inside skirt. Most outside skirt is exported - long term Japanese purchasing contracts doing most of the damage and remainder goes to restaurants. Last time I saw outside skirt for sale was at Central Market and it was $19/pound.....for skirt steak....First time I ever had fajitas was in 1980 at the Round-Up in Pharr, Tx,. Hyatt made them famous in the early 80's in Austin.
Ah...many fond memories of the Fish Soup, massive Fried Shrimp, and those insanely good Botana Platters.

My go-to on my Pulled Pork:
I mix up equal parts pickle juice and yellow mustard with a shot of hot sauce and drizzle just enough to make things moist while pulling and tossing.

So 3 posts for a Miata gay joke.
I was pretty sure that was where you were headed, but had a modicum of hope you weren't. I should have known better.
Drive a Miata, when it's a nice night out, through some twisty hills with the top down and a good looking female in the passenger seat and get back to me on how gay it is to drive one.
The fact that you were driving a Miata had no bearing on your story, but you offered the info up front. As if you were presenting...

Of course...at the time, I had hair down to my ass and wore black Metal concert Ts, so I didn’t quite fit in...but still...

Well sort of.
Look, I don't play fantasy football mainly because I don't give a shit about the NFL. I'll know the scores and records enough to have a high level discussion but not what specific players are doing. For the most part the only people who care about specific performances of individual players are fantasy football players.
If someone starts going into depth on it directly with me, I'll humor them at first and let them know I don't play. If they continue to expand on their points, I'll start to zone. At some point I'll start repsonding with discussion in M vs String in quantum theory, how the truth is likely in between. I'll start talking about how dark matter supports and defies both in some ways. I'll go into other details and maybe segway into my passion about process geomorphology and how Iceland is one of the best places to visit for such a passion.
It's called being intuitive and actually paying attention to the reactions of those with which you are engaged.
I've no issue with you and others having a discussion on the topic, just don't expect me to get involved. Further, know that continued direct engagement with me on the topic is rude.
High level discussion, huh?
