How come nobody want to hear Andrew Yangs thoughts on reproductive rights
Probably because it ties back to the UBI and its so practical that no one is happy.

Pho Dien is the correct answer to this thread.

The only people “seriously considering” Andrew Yang are...

Andrew Yang.
I'm voting Yang until he's off the ballot. Then its Warren. Everyone else is just a vote against Trump.

He has a (D) next to his name. That’s the weird part.
They all work in the sector of one of his biggest policy pushers (automation). Truck drivers, ff workers and retail. Anyone with eyes can see that's where the market is going. For the most part, that doesn't really apply to the Surly demo. I'd guess most of us would be on the other side of this equation.

The Yang Gang does seem a potential problem.
I really really hope everyone gets their supporters in line immediately. As in, "It didn't work out for us this time, but if you don't support THE NOMINEE (who is hopefully not Joe Biden), y'all are just selfishly getting Trump re-elected."
I'm ready to vote for a week old tuna fish sandwich that someone farted on and then got run over by a truck. But enough about Biden.
I think the only problem comes from the number of former Trump supporters who have flipped strictly to the D side for Yang. He is the only one resonating with that group and their problems which doesn't really seem to fit the Surly D demographic.

Yang has a link to amazon on his twitter bio pimping his book. I’m sorry but I just can’t take Yang seriously as the leader of the free world. He’s a smart and decent guy as far as I can tell but he has all these cheesy gimmicks where I’m like, “Is this just an awesome grift or is this guy serious?” I lean towards the former.
I think the gimmick is the only way he has a shot. He's the only candidate who's not a politician and he isn't a celebrity like Trump was. If he keeps hanging in there he can get his other policies out there too. They all make a ton of sense to me. He doesn't have much of a chance this election but in 4-8 years maybe he will have enough cred and experience at the time to make a real run. Maybe my bar is too low but smart and decent is all I want out of a politician ( on both sides). It would be miles ahead of what 90 percent of what this current climate is.

FYI - The FEC has already said Yang's "sign up for money" thing is illegal.
Yeah saw that. I think it's legal if he uses his own money to do this. If not the Reddit Founder said he would already do this for Yang if it turned out to be illegal. Also pretty brilliant way to get people to check out his platform on other issues.

Biden is such an unimpressive candidate who can barely string 2 coherent thoughts together so I guess people won't have that much to adjust to if he becomes president.
There's really only 2 candidates that stick out to me. Both for the same reason. Warren and Yang are extremely smart and have detailed policies to back up their rhetoric. Personally, I'm on the Yang train after reading more of his platform. HIs ideas may seem way out there t some but I think he's just way ahead of everyone else in terms of identifying problems and finding solutions. HIs solutions come with data/logic/science and after this abortion of a president I'm all for the exact opposite ( an Asian who likes math).

Yang won’t win. But damn if he shouldn’t be elected to office / be part of an administration. He has some really great ideas and is becoming a better and better candidate.
I really think Yang is going to wind up with a lot more support than most think. He'll grab a lot of the independent right leans because he's educated and non threatening. He's way ahead of the curve with his ideas and I think it'll set him up for a serious run in 2024/2028.

That was the first time i've ever seen a movie with him in it, and here is who he was in The Imitation Game:
33% Hugh Grant
33% Sheldon from Big Bang Theory
33% Season 1 Abed Nadir
does that sound appealing?
You've never watched an avengers movie?

Also, the more time he spends on the road, the more opportunities he will have to get hit by a bus.
I hope his wife is hit by that same bus. (no racist - Asian here)

I wish DC and the X Men(with a few exceptions)could get even close to something as good as SFFH and I found it to be a middle of the road Marvel movie.

The Wright deal basically took us out of contention for Dragic or Iggy. Watch us sign another useless 15 mpg Euro that will help us sell merch in Lithuania
We can still do it if we send them Lee and probably a few 2nd rounders. Either way the Mavs will masquerade this pile of dung Plan Z as Plan A. I remember when this ownership and FO were doing things so radically different. Ironically, they are in the same position they were when Mark first bought the team. Back then, they were all about talent acquisition.

I'm indifferent to this but i feel like Dragic has a better chance of staying healthy. And if they take on one of these contracts Miami or Memphis needs to attach a pick.
Fish said they should send 2 2s to Memphis for Iguodala. Fuck that noise.
Honestly i'd rather just keep the space and see what happens.
Okie still has to dump a ton of salary. I'm at the point now where I'm praying we can get Gallo from them at a 23 mill 1 year rental. Also seems likely since it fits Donnie's fetish. Gallo Luka and Zinger would be fun to watch.
F it. Lets get Gallo and Goran and just try to field an all euro starting 5.

Skin thinks Iggy and Dragic are both possible additions but he was also confident we(Mavs fans) would be very satisfied with the summer. Even both would be a serious underwhelming summer.

Soooooo, Dwight Howard?
If he had chosen the Mavs initially I think he would have had a completely different career. Dirk would have had no issues letting DHo be the man and would have had an organization that would have treated him well.

Green to LA...2 yrs 30 mil. Don't mind missing out on him but the Mavs FO showed they completely had no idea what they were doing once FA started.

Interesting news about Boogie...he changed reps today to Jeff Schwartz who's super chummy with the Mavs. In the end it probably doesn't much though.
Kawhi also likely re-signing with Toronto so Green is likely gone.
Nothing turning out the way the Mavs hoped for FA so it's the norm for us. -
Anyone have a list of the white euros left in FA? Just want to know who we're going to sign next.

Uhhhhhh what else are they going to send us? Gallinari for 22 milll.....puke
Donnie will think its a bargain. I really don't understand how that would be preferable over Boogie at whatever price he winds up at(knowing he's having a hard time getting even an exception offer right now).

Jabari Parker on a plane to Dallas right now apparently. Dude plays zero D but I'd take his scoring from the midrange and post for the second unit
connecting flight to chicago. team boogie but mavs seem determined to overwhelm us with their overpayment of mediocrity. Knowing the FO we'll have the greatest amount of cap space next yr in the worst FA class in recent history and still strike out. We'll roll that powder for 20-21 on the Giannis do-over and strike out again.
-
Crazy that 2 yrs ago Boogie was #1 on the Mavs wishlist for a max candidate. He's the guy left on the market with the upside and he would come at a serious discount. Don't understand what's going on with his market. He has problems with coaches sometimes but teammates seem to like him and he didn't have any issues with GS. Looked productive in limited minutes and seems natural that the averages would climb back over 20/10 with 30 plus minutes.

I love Yang. Anyone on that stage is obviously a better choice than Trump but Yang is the only one who seems to have a handle on why Trump got elected. My money and time go to him until he fails to qualify (just don't expect that anytime soon-he's probably going to outraise Biden this quarter).
