    Cruz vs Beto

Yes. It's the primary reason I wanted an alternative to Cruz. Read my previous posts.

It's my opinion that Garland should have been granted a hearing. That doesn't mean I think we should replace all Senators who failed to give him one. That would be a very stupid reason to vote for a Senator. I vote for what I view as in my own best interest and I think party politics is stupid. Right now, I view Cruz as less of a threat to my livelihood than Beto is.

I don't take any of the impeachment talk seriously because it started before he was even sworn into office and all I've seen from the Dems is #resist. It's the exact same kind of shit I didn't like about the Tea Party. We just saw a supreme court justice get voted in along party lines and insanely dirty politics along the way. You have to be fucking brain dead not to connect that was a political game. Come to the table and work with the seated President and compromise where you can. There has been zero attempt to do that by the dems just like there was severe resistance by the tea party. If you can't do that (regardless of party) then you are acting like a fucking child that didn't get their way. Stop trying to make the country fail and offer some constructive ideas.

    Cruz vs Beto

I am a-political so I am considered a Nazi on this board. I don't like Cruz because of all the Tea Party theatrics and would have voted for a democrat if they put someone up that I could stomach. There are 3 things I personally don't like about Beto (one being more of a general dislike about current dems) 1. Oil and gas stance.. Sorry i'm not going to vote for shooting myself in the economic dick. 2. Gun control.. Voting for every single gun control measure for the sake of voting in favor of it was clearly pandering. There are laws that could be passed that I could stomach but he's signaling he'll vote for any form of gun control no matter what. 3. Impeachment/obstruction... I don't like the shitstain Cruz for the tea party theatrics and I wont support anyone who plans on obstructing for the sake of it. Act like an adult (and my fucking Senator) and get a deal hashed out with the other side of the aisle. I really do think there are a lot of people who would have been willing to vote against Cruz as payback for not getting anything done for 4/6 years of his term. I am one of them.

    Moral victories don't mean shit.

The oil and gas industry is fairly important to the state so we view it differently than states like Oregon or Washington. Many Texans view increased regulation as increasing the potential of losing their job. The last oil crash is still fresh on our minds.

    Cruz vs Beto

I'm looking at his actual voting record here http://politicsthatwork.com/voting-record/Beto-ORourke-412575 100% on gun control... 100% on raising taxes.. 79.2% on higher spending.. 99.4% on environmental protection. 100% on "robust safety net". Gun control alone will disqualify him with most moderate Texas republicans. If Dems want a Senate seat in Texas, you can't put someone up there with this kind of voting record.

    Cruz vs Beto

The dems never should have put someone up against Cruz with this liberal of a voting record. Cruz was very beatable and he's going to run away with this.
  9. Considering how many people the Saudis have killed, it's pretty odd people are getting their panties in a bunch over this guy getting whacked. He was probably working for us.
  10. I was actually going to ask the same thing. That's a lot of information that links to text that no one is going to read.
  11. Are you the left's Qanon or something?

Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) needs to apologize for claiming to be Native America for political gain. Appearing on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Debbie White Dove Porreco said she was glad the Massachusetts Democrat finally took the DNA test, which she urged her to do back in May. "It did prove that she wasn't the Cherokee Indian that she was claiming to be for so long," Porreco said on the program Tuesday. "I think she's guilty of claiming she's an American Indian but has no proof -- and then [is] using it for applications for college and for political reasons." "She needs to... apologize to everybody for what she has done," Porreco said Warren released the results of a DNA test this week showing that she may be anywhere between 1/64th and 1/1,024th Native American—but the definition included Mexican, Colombia, and Peruvian DNA. “To make up for the dearth of Native American DNA, Bustamante used samples from Mexico, Peru, and Colombia to stand in for Native American. That’s because scientists believe that the groups Americans refer to as Native American came to this land via the Bering Strait about 12,000 years ago and settled in what’s now America but also migrated further south,” the Boston Globe explained about how Carlos Bustamante, a Stanford University professor, attempted to calculate how much Native American DNA Warren may have.
  13. No but the democratic party started eating their own awhile ago. They are the party of sexism and identity politics. After all the believe all women shit, there is no way they are going to allow a man to represent them in 2020.
  14. Basically every male in the democratic candidate for president should expect to have a John Edwards/#metoo attack thrown at them over the next couple years. I'd put the chances of a male representing the democrats in 2020 at zero.
  15. The issue is not whether she has small amounts of Native American blood. It is whether she is right to claim to be an American Indian on her faculty applications based on those trace amounts. There is nothing to stop her from doing it but it completely spits in the face of the intent of those laws.
  16. That's news to me and my kids then. Is she an imposter? Russian agent? Family showing up for something like that is pretty standard.
  17. I was reading unverified claims Feinstein paid for the lie detector. If that turns out to be the case, it's pretty clear it was a political hit that backfired. Either way.. Ford was surrounded by lawyers and political types. Kavanaugh was surrounded by family... where was her family? Why weren't they there to support her? I know I would even if I knew my wife was full of shit.
  18. No man in their right mind would pursue a relationship with a woman who believed Ford's testimony. It was clearly garbage from the get go.
  19. I think the million dollars she got from her gofundme in a single day and her book deal were pretty big incentives. I think it's pretty telling that none of her family was there to support her. Instead she was surrounded by political activists and her "beach friend" that just so happened to be a retired FBI agent. It's my understanding that the woman who she claims was there is claiming that that same FBI agent has been pressuring her to change her story. This shit turned into a farce the day that democrats openly said they would oppose anyone that Trump nominated. Why the hell should republicans not believe they were telling the truth?
  20. Yeah I don't think there is any confusion. It's just a bunch of people trying to be respectful. Only a very small group of people know whether or not she is telling the truth.
  21. “It’s just absolutely nuts. I never saw Brett act that way.” https://hotair.com/archives/2018/09/15/mark-judge-undermining-friend-brett-kavanaugh/
  22. They most certainly can be. Is English your second language?Frivolous means that the accusation has no merit. I could claim that some guy raped me 35 years ago and told me his handle on surlyhorns is "Onboard 2.0". That would be a frivolous claim if i pursued it. If I made that claim during your job interview would you call for an FBI investigation. Can you say for certain we've never been in the same room or at the same party? This is a claim that would never have even gotten a warrant, much less have charges brought against the judge. Personally, I think she was lying about the whole thing. I know that's not the politically correct thing to say but she was caught in a lie on the stand at least twice. She knew damn well that the republicans were willing to fly out there because it was one of the offers she flat out rejected. She also lied about her fear of flying. She wanted the public hearing. She even plugged her gofundme yesterday for god's sake.
