  1. If the head coach allows the special teams coach to go block there instead of overruling him and saying not right now.  That's not banks fault.  It's sark.  It's banks fault that he doesn't have his block team better trained to not commit a penalty there.

Tomorrow can't get here soon enough.

I don't think anything in the next three games is going to change the perception of Manning unless he continues to be inconsistent over the next three games and looks bad.

The narrative can only begin to change after the Florida and OU games.

  3. I think Sark's offense has had its biggest problems when defenses switch up from the pre-snap read (line up in Man - play zone or vice versa) into what they actually end up doing.  Ohio State did a lot more of that than I saw when I watched it live.

The Film Guy review also shows just how good Caleb Downs is as a football player.  Running up into the box knowing a run is coming.  Jumping routes.  Dude is just awesome.  Really reminds me of Ed Reed at just being on another level mentally than other players.

I’m not sure how anyone is not concerned with that pass at 1:33

Quinn puts that pass on the money

The WR bubble screen to the short side of the field that looks like a loss of yards no matter how perfectly the ball is placed?  I mean its 4 v. 3 and there doesn't appear to be any room for the WR catching the ball to use the blockers to interfere with the the LB who is coming in to blow up the play.  Not to mention the safety about ten yards deep who can clean up any mess if needed.

QB sneak inside the 1 was just dumb.   No pre-snap movement or window dressing was odd.   Arch was just horrible.  Maybe he needs less time filming commercials and more time practicing football plays.

    Twice.  On fourth and one.

  6. Maybe Ohio States offensive line is the greatest in its history because it's practicing agains the worst collection of defensive line talent the team has had in a long time?  Guess we shall see how great they are on Saturday.   I suspect they won't be that great based entirely on their NIL commitment to the Rice kid followed by his disappointment.

In one of their recent nightly streams Gerry gave the offense, as things currently stand, basically a C grade. Next, Bobby asked Babers on his view of the offense as it is currently. Babers extolled the virtues of "leaning on the defense" instead and the phrase "complimentary football" was used about 15 times in the next 3 minutes between the three of them.

I have adjusted my expectations accordingly.

I know we have that Manning kid, Wingo, Moore, endries and white Jesus, but our entire strategy this year should be to put the vast majority of our games entirely on leaning on our defense.

It’s worth a reminder that Jahdae Barron’s defense of Jeremiah Smith in the semifinal is one of the most impressive performances I’ve seen from a Texas defensive back in my lifetime as a Longhorns fan.

I know that we limited him to his least productive game all year.  I thought Barron was a part of that, but I also thought that we weren't in man that much against Ohio State (or at least that was the plan).  Were we mostly in man and Barron just owned him or did we box him with safety and let Tate go crazy?
