  1. 1.  We all know Sark is going to deny it until he's announced as the head coach somewhere else.  Plus, he needs to keep his buy out in tact.

    2.  The timing makes perfect sense.  He believes that he and his crew rebuilt Texas.  He's gotten us to two playoff semifinals and now he is being asked whether he should continue to call plays?  Fucking Texas and their fanbases unrealistic expectations.

    3.   The Oline isn't going to be fixed in the remaining games.  Even if NIL goes hog wild, it's hard to rebuild an offensive line in one offseason.  So express interest now or wait until after Texas loses four of the next five or possibly misses a bowl if they lose today.  Come back next year with Arch looking poor or jump ship now to greener pastures?  How great are his options if Texas say wins two more games this year and comes back next year and goes 7-5?

That said, it is pretty shocking how quickly some of yall think it’s going to be an easy upgrade. We’ve already seen this story play out when it goes the wrong way for all of the 2010s, and it isn’t a guarantee that anyone will be able to match the success that Sark has had.

It's different in the NIL area.

Not that Texas might not still struggle, but look how NIL turned Oregon, Miami, and now Tech into whatever they are now.

You can have a great coach that can dramatically help the smaller teams with less budget turn things around.   But if your school is a top ten NIL team, you should be competitive if you spend that money wisely.

has to be redshirting right?  just waiting to transfer?   what else could be the reason?

Can't beat out Brooks or Stroh.  I mean I kind of was shocked how bad Brooks was in pass protection against Kentucky.  Seems like our center depth chart looks right after Kentucky. Maybe the coaches had the depth chart actually right and the backups are worse.

  4. Just saw the presser.  Sarks 2-1 in sec play horseshit at the end of the presser like he was super proud/triumphant pissed me off a lot.

First half of the presser was obviously the same we have to do better, execute better, call better plays bullshit.  With the added point that he specifically said arch needs to also play better.

Then after I think getting a series of legit questions he talks about 2-1 in sec and walks off like its a miraculous accomplishment against a Florida team that just fired its coach, venebles, and the worst team in the conference.

I've seen enough football to know the script of some games. Yesterday was a classic Underdog Outplays and Outperforms the Favorite, Gets Multiple Chances to Win, Loses in Heartbreaking Fashion games. I won't go so far as to say I knew we were going to win all along. I felt the pit in my stomach that we were going to lose. But I never felt like our team was less talented or victory was totally out of reach. Kentucky played about as well as they possibly could, but they made one mistake and that's all it took. They should have fully capitalized on the opportunities we gave them, and they didn't. I actually expected Mark Stoops to fake the FG at the end of regulation and hit a wide open receiver for the go-ahead TD. That's the kind of night it was, until it wasn't.

Kentucky made five mistakes.  We just couldn't pick one up off the fucking ground.

We had so many chances to ice that game it's sickening.   Once it was late in the fourth I was convinced we were going to lose until they went for it on fourth and one in overtime.   Then I thought we had a chance again.  Then of course we hold and try to shoot ourselves in the dick again.
