  1. IF he is going to be dead set on being the OC, then maybe we need to make sure  the assistant to the head coach type is former head coach with experience ala Patterson as opposed to Gilbert.

Someone who can tell him that he respects and will listen to about some of the bigger issue game management/coaching problems that comes up while he is picking plays.

True that. But hearing now twice since the loss in two pressers that Sark thinks we honestly ran the ball well goes beyond Coach speak. That’s deluded territory.

We did run the ball well.  The first seven or eight times we ran it I felt we were averaging something like 7-8 yards per carryish.   Georgia made adjustments though and in combination shut it down whatever was working slightly and Sark abandoned it when we got down big.  But for the first half of the game I felt we were running it well.

It won't happen because they will have their access pulled.....but someone should ask Sark on Monday about their special teams practice of on an onside.

    1.  So you practiced it and the players still lined up 15 yards from the kick and immediately turned their backs for the return?

    2.  The entire front five on the return?

    3.  Did you and/or your special teams coach remind your players before the kickoff that you had practiced it?

After Georgia’s first couple of TD drives we adjusted and started playing more aggressive coverages. That's when UGA started using WR shifts to get us out of alignment and create confusion/miscommunications. They also took advantage of our aggressiveness by rolling out safety valves to the open flats whenever we tried to blitz.

I didn't realize this was allowed under the rules.  Wish we tried some of this.

  5. I feel like Sark the GM never gave Sark the coach a chance this year.

That being said Sark the coach got his ass handed to him yesterday by Kirby the coach.  Then lied about how they practiced that special teams shit to save face.  There is not a single well coached special teams unit that is lining up 15 yards away from the kicker and instantly running backwards in unison if they are well prepared for an onside kick.  That's not on the players.  100% on the coaches and he is fucking lying.

  6. Look holds like his happen regularly on returns.

The onside kick was not his fault.  No matter what Sark says after the game, they didn't practice that shit.

If they did practice and were still fifteen yards away from the kicker when lining up and running away instantly than they were clearly practicing the wrong fucking things.

  7. Arch would you like to come back to a team with a rebuilding offensive line, wr with the dropsies, no running game, backup tight ends that are terrible  and a coach that is truly lost?

Really going to test his Longhorn love IMHO.  I get that he loves it here, etc, but I can definitely see a business decision being made.
