  1. No he did not think the game was over.. That is why he used Dre
  2. This ump is fucking horrible lol
  3. You are using a useable arm down 4-1 in the 4th in order to steady the ship and give your offense a chance. We had a chance to make it 4-3, Mendoza grounded out to SS. Why would you burn Grubbs or Burns?
  4. Do you realize Dre threw 5 2/3 last Sunday and is a massive reason we won that game
  5. Should honestly bench Will and Borba for that. Right on cue, love to see that
  6. Ass needs to be chewed. Totally inexcusable
  7. Best thing Schloss can do the rest of the night is keep everyone cool. Can’t afford to have anyone ejected, not worth it. Did a good job saving Kimble
  8. Sankey said a 5 game lead??? Send my crew down to Fayetteville
  9. Two different strike zones. Not even hiding it
  10. Gotta have it AB right here for Mendoza
  11. Well… The fact we are only down 4-1 is positive. Be nice to show some life against their bullpen
  12. That is atleast the 4th weakly hit ball for Arkansas with a runner on 1st that has been so slow that you barely get 1 out
  13. Arkansas can do no wrong. Lost 3 straight series and it is all swinging back the other way
  14. Finally didn’t miss a fastball
  15. Well… Guess you start Grubbs tomorrow
  16. We look ready at the plate tonight
  17. Have to tip you cap to Arkansas. Got them to chase on that pitch but they aren’t fishing much up to this point. Seeing the ball well
  18. Lineup shaken up a little bit tonight
  19. Those top 5 are the guys who consistently put together the best ABs. This team doesn’t launch balls over the fence so you just have to stack the best overall hitters at the top and see if you can keep the line moving Will: 5 HRs, .323 OBP in conference play Casey: 4 HRs, .354 OBP in conference play Jalin 5 HRs, .247 OBP in conference play They are all pretty much the same from a production standpoint. Obviously of the 3 Will has the tools to be elite, and when he barrels it the ball goes to the moon. Those barrels are few and far between though. I like Jonah, hard to make anything out of the limited sample size. His speed from the left side plays though. EDIT: I will say we have hit more HRs than I thought we have relative to the rest of the country. Seems HRs are down a lot across the country.
  20. In a perfect world with Belyeu healthy he would be batting 2nd. Pretty common now in baseball to bat your best hitter 2nd to get them as many ABs as you can. Galvan has a .467 OBP in conference play. Next closest qualified hitter is Kimble at .385.
  21. 1. Ethan 2. Rylan 3. Kimble 4. Arod 5. Borba 6. Will That is how I would set the top right now
  22. It’s time to give Jalin the Faltine treatment and eject him from the top of that lineup. Needs to be hitting 8th or 9th. He has a .247 OBP in 22 conference games Will also be an interesting conversation between Jalin and Schloss in the offseason. His draft stock is cratering and he isn’t worth what Texas is paying him
  23. Wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to skip Ruger’s start next week with another short Thursday turnaround against OU. Leads the team in innings and then you have the added stress of being yanked around and thrown into just about every role this season.
  24. I hope Jalin likes school
  25. As crazy as it sounds, this will be a really good opportunity for Howard. 3 pitch mix and a fastball that he consistently hits 95-96 with.
