Unfortunately for us, I think it breaks down like this to the people who can move the needle:Tom Herman - has the job and we owe him a lot of money, and this year doesn’t count due to the situation.
The money issue boils down, not simply to University/Athletic Department revenues, but more importantly to BMD finances. A lot of our deep-pocket BMDs' financial statements have taken severe hits the last 6 months to a year. They'll obviously be less likely to write those big checks to buy Herman out. Although, if (when?) we get our ass handed to us in Dallas by a 2-loss blowu, things might change a little.

Butbutbutbut, urban Meyer said he was the best hire of the off-season!
Ill give the defense some credit, they were able to at least pressure the qb more than I have seen in recent memory. If they can do the same against rattler then he's good for at least one int.
Yeah, he's said that more than once. But what do you bet that as soon as he's hired Ash's ass will be the first one fired?

Not really. This is all a bunch of jerking off. I've made my peace long ago that Vince crossing the goal line on 4th and 5 was probably the absolute highlight I was going to see for the rest of my life as a Texas fan. We're 15 years from that moment. Soon to be 16. We've had a lost decade of mediocrity. This is almost a systemic issue with this program. It's not just on the head coach. It's a culture of mediocrity. I get angry at myself for even giving a shit every Saturday.
I hadn't quite come to grips with the fact that that Rose Bowl was the apex, never to be repeated in my lifetime, but, looking back, it would be foolish to think otherwise. In short, you nailed it. And I can't believe that this line of reasoning can be that far out of step with mainstream thinking. Goddam, I'm pissed. On so many levels.

I watched all of their game against Vandy. I'm a closet Vandy fan being that I live in TN, and Vandy is very, very, very terrible.
Aggy could have easily lost that game.
Aggy is decently ranked and unlike some coaches who will go unmentioned, Bama knows how to, and often does, step on a throat and then curb stomp an opponent after the fight is out of them. I look for Saban to try and make a statement in this game as they don't have their usual slate of Blind Sisters of the Poor, Tired, and Special Needs to pick on this year.
That's very, very bad for aggy. Delicious for me.
Preach, brother!

I am not defending Mack, I am just saying the Strong's and Herman's hires of Watson and Beck were in their own stratosphere of incompetence. Mack's hire of Harsin and Applewhite cannot be compared to be in the same neighborhood. Applewhite was not a proven terrible hire at every stop at the time or even now the way Watson and Beck were known to be before they got hired here.
This man gets it.

I hope you weren't going for humor there. For some of us, it's still too soon.
Hell, it's still too soon for Craig fuckiing Curry and the '84 Cotton bowl . . .

Nobody gives a shit about B12 bottom-feeders losing to scrub teams. And it wouldn't matter if ND and Clemson were NOT playing. An undefeated Texas isn't getting passed over by the committee. ESPN would spooge all over themselves to have Texas in the CFP. They've been begging us to not suck for a decade.
Damn, for the first time in 20 years I find myself on the same side as ESPN.

While I was reading your first sentence I was thinking your second sentence.
Joe made a ton of yardage beating the blitz by connecting quick and watching his guy run. Anyone remember 3rd and 17?
It's now referred to as "third and Orlando."

I liked you, right up to here. Now we are no longer friends.
Ed, what an ugly thing to say... does this mean we're not friends anymore? You know, Ed, if I thought you weren't my friend, I just don't think I could bear it.

So...best offensive coordinator since Watson?
We ran up 689 yards of total offense. That's 11.68 Watsons. In one game. I leave the judgment to you.

That idiot who writes for OB does analysis for the OL each game - goes through play by play for each guy on the OL. I don't think that comes out until Monday or Tuesday though.
You're gonna' have to be a little more specific.

LHN just showed the play JW injured his knee. Nothing unusual, no contact, just like when Black was tackled by the turf monster.
Regardless, this problem would be solved by white shoes and socks ...
Yeah, but they show grass stains--you know, from real grass, which is the other part of the solution to the problem.

I don't watch TV that much and hadn't noticed that sling doesn't have locals. I'm not sure how important that is to me. I like that it has LHN and Nick Jr., neither of which is on YouTube TV.
Nick Jr.? Dude . . .

I don't think you get it. Nobody is on this thread to discuss racial profiling, especially when that has nothing to do with the situation. You just come off like someone who is racebaiting to de a twat.
There's so fucking much of that on this board.
